et été je vais partir en vacances aux Maldives.
C’est une île à côté de Sri Lanka. Vous savez,
c’est une de ces îles paradisiaques – la plage,
le sable et puis des cocotiers. Dans l’île où je vais aller
il y a l’hôtel et rien d’autre. Je vais faire de la plongée
sous-marine. La première fois que j’ai fait de la
plongée c’était en Martinique, et depuis c’est une vraie
passion, car quand on est sous l’eau, c’est vraiment
un autre monde. Donc, aux Maldives, je me
baignerai, je ferai de la plongée et je bronzerai. Le
seul problème, c’est que j’ai peur d’avoir vraiment
très chaud. Après une année en Ecosse où j’ai très
rarement vu le soleil, partir dans les pays comme ça,
j’ai peur que ce soit un peu difficile, mais bon, je ne
vais pas me plaindre – je crois que ça va être super.

cet accent particulier qui fait vraiment partie du
plaisir du séjour. Deuxièmement, évidemment, le
Canada c’est le pays des grands espaces, les lacs, les
montagnes. Au Canada, vous trouverez calme et
tranquillité. Vous pouvez rouler pendant des
kilomètres et ne pas rencontrer de voitures. Quelque
chose d’important aussi, c’est qu’au Canada le
logement et la nourriture sont très peu chers. Vous
pouvez faire un repas très copieux pour 30 francs,
vous pouvez louer un charmant petit chalet au bord
d’un lac pour - disons - 400 francs pour quatre

Ce week-end je suis allée à Oban. Je suis restée dans une auberge de jeunesse sur
l’esplanade. Le samedi il faisait un temps magnifique, alors j’ai décidé de partir en
excursion pour l’île de Mull.
Je suis allée à Staffa et à l’île d’Iona. C’était vraiment magnifique. Ce que j’ai préféré, c’était Staffa.
Premièrement je suis allée au King’s Cave. Il y a des couleurs de rose et j’ai vraiment aimé. Ensuite je suis
allée voir des petits oiseaux qu’on appelle les macareux et j’ai pris beaucoup de photos. Le soir, je suis rentrée
fatiguée mais heureuse de ma journée. Le seul problème peut-être ça a été l’auberge de jeunesse, car ce n’est
pas très confortable et il est difficile de bien dormir. Mais à part ça, voir l’Ecosse sous le soleil, c’est vraiment
quelque chose de bien.

uand j’étais au collège en cinquième, le prof
de français a emmené notre classe passer une
journée au château de Versailles, près de
Paris. Comme nous venions de Mulhouse,
nous avons fait l’aller–retour en train dans la
journée. Nous sommes partis à cinq heures du matin
de la gare de Mulhouse, pour revenir à minuit! C’était
vraiment long et fatigant. Ce voyage avait bien sûr
un but éducatif: pendant la visite du château, nous
avons pris en notes ce que le prof disait. Ensuite, nous
avons rempli un questionnaire. Le gagnant devait
recevoir un livre comme prix.
Nous avons tous été très impressionnés par la galerie
des glaces et par les jardins “à la française” où le
moindre buisson est taillé de façon géométrique. Rien
ne pousse de façon naturelle.
J’ai aussi beaucoup aimé les appartements privés
de la reine, dans le Petit Trianon, qui a été construit
un peu à l’écart du château. C’est d’ailleurs là que
nous avons pique–niqué.
L’après–midi, nous avons visité quelques pièces dans
le bâtiment principal, toutes plus luxueuses les unes
que les autres.
Malheureusement, il a fallu reprendre le train assez
tôt, afin d’être de retour à une heure décente. De toute
facon, nous savions déjà que nous n’aurions pas cours
le lendemain, ce qui nous récompensait de la fatigue
du voyage.

’année dernière je suis partie en vacances en
Corse. Martine ma tante habite là-bas. C’était
donc assez pratique car je n’avais pas à
m’inquiéter concernant le logement.
J’ai donc passé un mois de détente totale; c’était
vraiment l’endroit rêvé pour moi qui recherchais le
dépaysement sans pour autant choisir une destination
trop lointaine. La Corse n’est qu’à une heure et demie
de vol de Lyon, et on se croirait presqu’aux Caraïbes!
C’est sans doute pourquoi on la surnomme “l’Ile de
Beauté”. Bref, le premier août, je suis arrivée à Ajaccio,
au sud-ouest de l’île, par une chaleur torride.
Ma tante m’attendait à l’aéroport, puis nous avons
filé direction la plage. J’attendais ce moment depuis
longtemps. Après avoir savouré ma première baignade
de l’année, Martine m’a fait visiter son nouvel
appartement, puis nous nous sommes préparées pour
une petite soirée sur le port; resto (au menu, fruits de
mer évidemment), animations diverses, sans oublier
La Corse
un petit passage au glacier du coin. Ce programme
s’est répété assez souvent; après tout, les vacances,
c’est fait pour ça! Mais j’ai eu l’occasion de visiter les
autres magnifiques villes et villages de l’île grâce à
Martine, qui voyageait pas mal pour son travail: Porto
Vecchio, Corte, Bastia, mais mon escapade préférée a
été Bonifacio, tout au sud. De là, on apercevait la
Sardaigne, et j’en ai profité pour faire une petite
balade en bateau, un bateau un peu spécial, puisque
le fond était transparent. C’était génial pour voir les
poissons.
Ce qui m’a le plus frappée, c’est la diversité du
paysage; on peut passer de la mer à la montagne en
un clin d’oeil, ce qui m’a permis également de faire
quelques excursions et de découvrir le Melo et le
Capitelo, deux lacs situés au sommet d’une
montagne, c’était paradisiaque.
Je n’ai pas eu le temps de m’ennuyer, et mes
vacances sont passées à toute vitesse!

Moi, je conseille de partir en vacances à Paris, à mon avis la plus belle capitale du monde. Je conseille, par
exemple, de se promener le long des Champs-Elysées, et peut-être de s’asseoir à un café si on est fatigué. Les
Champs-Elysées, ce qu’il y a de bien, la meilleure partie, à mon avis, c’est entre la Place de la Concorde et l’Arc
de Triomphe. Mais on peut aussi, par exemple, monter les escaliers jusqu’au dernier étage de la Tour Eiffel c’est assez chouette. Et ce que je conseille surtout c’est de visiter le centre culturel de Beaubourg, mais aussi le
quartier des Marais ou de Montmartre. C’est là qu’on trouve des saltimbanques ou des artistes de toutes sortes,
des peintres, des musiciens, des cracheurs de feu qui sont là pour divertir les touristes. Le problème de Paris,
c’est que la vie y est assez chère, mais après tout, le temps des vacances, c’est aussi l’occasion de se faire plaisir,
et pour une fois de ne pas trop regarder à la dépense.

Si vous voulez passer une semaine tranquille dans le sud de la France, je vous conseillerais la ville de Nîmes.
C’est une ville très vivante avec ses vestiges gallo-romains, comme les arènes, la Maison Carrée, des voies
romaines en dehors de la ville. Nîmes est aussi célèbre pour ses corridas qui ont un grand succès, surtout
auprès des personnes âgées. Il y a aussi beaucoup de spectacles donnés dans les arènes, comme la Coupe Davis
ou des concerts avec des groupes très importants comme Dire Straits ou Phil Collins. Ce qu’il y a de bien avec
Nîmes, c’est que c’est assez proche de toutes les villes environnantes comme Montpellier ou Marseille - et la
mer n’est pas vraiment loin également, donc on peut pratiquer toutes sortes de sports nautiques, et en été avec
la chaleur, c’est vraiment très agréable.

Colmar est le chef-lieu du Haut-Rhin, en
Alsace. C’est une petite ville très touristique.
Avec son architecture typique (les maisons
à “colombages”), elle attire beaucoup de
visiteurs, surtout en été. La plupart des
visiteurs viennent admirer la Place
Unterlinden (ce qui signifie ‘sous les
tilleuls’ en allemand) et le musée du même
nom.
Pour les amateurs du lèche-vitrine, la rue piétonne
appelée la ‘rue des clés’ offre un grand choix de
boutiques. Aussitôt arrivé au pied de cette rue, on entre
dans le vieux quartier, avec ses rues pavées et étroites
et ses vieilles bâtisses. (La plus célèbre est la maison
Hansi où a vécu le célèbre dessinateur.)
Ce ne sont pas d’ailleurs les restaurants qui
manquent à Colmar. Beaucoup d’entre eux sont très
renommés, mais chers, comme le Fer Rouge, par
exemple. Mais les fameux ‘winstub’, les bars à vins
locaux, offrent un large choix de plats typiques à
meilleur marché.
La ville n’est pas particulièrement connue pour sa
vie nocturne, mais cinémas, théâtre et bars sont
disponibles.
Les enfants n’ont pas été oubliés grâce au superbe
manège de chevaux de bois qui date de 1900 et qui se
trouve sur la place du Champ de Mars.
A partir de là, la petite Venise n’est plus très loin.
On appelle ce quartier ainsi car les maisons ont été
construites sur l’Ill, la rivière qui traverse Colmar. Il
y fait frais en été et c’est l’endroit idéal pour prendre
un verre ou pour prendre le repas du soir au bord de
l’eau.

En octobre dernier, j’ai fait avec des amis
le tour de l’Ecosse. On en a rapporté des
tonnes de souvenirs: le loch Ness,
Aviemore, Edimbourg, Glencoe, Perth…
C’était le pied! On a aussi passé deux jours
à Inverness, la capitale des Highlands.
A notre arrivée, il faisait grand soleil. Et dire qu’on
s’attendait au moins au déluge! On a logé dans une
auberge de jeunesse au nom amusant: le Ho-ho
Hostel. A ce propos: il y avait un journaliste qui faisait
un reportage et qui prenait des photos des jeunes
touristes. Quand il a vu Bella, une amie
guadeloupéenne, il l’a mitraillée avec son flash: le
lendemain matin, elle était en page 6 de
l’Indépendent!
A l’auberge, on a sympathisé avec un couple de
Québécois. On a vite échangé nos adresses! On a visité
ensemble le château: c’était génial. Il y avait plusieurs
guides habillés de costumes d’époque. A l’entrée, on
a reçu le shilling du roi comme les soldats écossais
autrefois. Un sergent nous a expliqué la nature des
combats; un autre, le maniement du mousquet; et
une bonne femme, les règles de vie à l’armée.
On a jeté un oeil au musée et au jardin botanique.
Mais la magie d’Inverness, c’est pour moi
l’architecture du centre-ville et tous ces arbres et
espaces verts à chaque coin de rue: les vieilles pierres
au coeur de la forêt! Et avec cela, un temps
magnifique. Que demande le peuple!
