Cast: Günes Sensoy, Doga Doguslu.
Set in a remote Turkish village, the film depicts the
life of five young orphaned sisters and the
challenges they face growing up as girls in a
conservative society. The event that triggers the
family backlash against the five sisters at the
beginning of the film is based on Ergüven's
personal life. A winner of several awards, including
at the Cannes Film Festival.
A widowed mom has full-time custody of her
unpredictable 15-year-old ADHD son. As they
struggle to make ends meet, Kyla, the peculiar
new neighbour, offers her help. Together, they find
a new sense of balance.

In the days before the July 1969 space mission
that marked mankind's first steps on the Moon,
NASA worked with a group of Australian
technicians who agreed to rig up a satellite
interface. That the Aussies placed the satellite
dish smack bang in the middle of an Australian
sheep farm in the regional town of Parkes was just
one of the reasons that NASA was concerned.
Based on a true story, The Dish takes a comical
look at the differing cultural attitudes between
Australia and the U.S. while revisiting one of the
greatest events in history.

The film cuts between two seemingly unrelated
stories. In one, set in present-day Montreal,
Antoine is a successful club DJ torn between his
new girlfriend Rose and his ex-wife Carole. In the
other, set in 1960s Paris, Jacqueline is the fiercely
protective single mother of Laurent who has
Down’s syndrome. The film builds toward the
revelation of how the two stories are linked.

Shirley Valentine is a 42 year-old from Liverpool
whose life and initially enriching marriage has
settled into a narrow and unsatisfying rut, leaving
few real friends and her childhood dreams
unaccomplished. When her flamboyant friend
Jane wins a trip for two to Greece, Shirley
uncharacteristically puts herself first and accepts
her invitation.
Pauline Collins won the Oscar for best actress for
this movie.

In 1985 Dallas, electrician and hustler Ron
Woodroof works around the system to help AIDS
patients get the medication they need after he is
diagnosed with the disease.
McConaughey and Leto both won Oscars for their
performances.

Festival.
A classic horror movie that was a sensation on its
release and still ranks among the greatest of its
genre.

C'est le début de l'été. Dans un village reculé de
Turquie, Lale et ses quatre sœurs rentrent de
l’école en jouant avec des garçons et déclenchent
un scandale aux conséquences inattendues.La
maison familiale se transforme progressivement
en prison, les cours de pratiques ménagères
remplacent l’école et les mariages commencent à
s’arranger.Les cinq sœurs, animées par un même
désir de liberté, détournent les limites qui leur sont
imposées.

d’équilibre et, bientôt, d’espoir.

1969: l'homme s'apprête à poser son premier pas
sur la lune. Le souffle coupé, le monde attend des
images qui, pour des raisons techniques sont
obtenues par le biais d'une antenne géante située
dans un village du fin fond de l’Australie. Tout
devait bien se passer, mais évidemment…
1986, Dallas,Texas, Ron Woodroof a 35 ans, des
bottes, un Stetson, c’est un cow-boy, un vrai. Sa
vie: sexe, drogue et rodéo. Tout bascule quand il
est diagnostiqué séropositif. Révolté par
l’impuissance du corps médical, il rassemble
d’autres malades en quête de guérison : le
Dallas Buyers Club est né. C’est son combat pour
une nouvelle cause… et pour sa propre vie.

montréalais ainsi que des femmes qui
l’entourent. Ce qui les relie : l’amour, troublant,
maladroit, imparfait et inachevé… humain.
