Caution

Indications for Use
• Indicated for orthodontic movement of teeth.
Contraindications
• In-Ovation® R brackets should not be bonded to restorative or compromised enamel
surfaces.
• In-Ovation® R brackets are contraindicated for patients with an allergy to Nickel.
Warnings
• Single use only.
• Device contains nickel and may cause allergic reactions.
Precautions
• Bonding of brackets to compromised teeth (i.e., with large restorations, to peg laterals,
or pre-existing pathological conditions) can increase the risk of tooth damage.
• Do not use the product for anything other than orthodontic purposes.
• Instruct patients not to chew or bite hard substances such as hard candy, ice, or carrots.
• If opening the clip via the “Opin R” feature, care should be taken to avoid overextention
of the clip which may cause deformation.
• Bonding to porcelain crowns or facings may cause chipping or breakage of the crown
or facing during treatment or de-bonding.
• For positioning, hold the bracket in the mesiodistal direction. If the bracket is held in
the gingival-occlusal direction, the clip may close.
• When bonding, take precautions with excess bonding material, excess material may
adhere to the clip and adversely affect the clip opening mechanism.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Bond the bracket to each tooth using an orthodontic adhesive. For use of the orthodontic adhesive, refer to the inserted instructions of the adhesive.
At this time, the clip is in an open position. Avoid excess bonding material coming in
contact with the clip as it could become solidified and interfere with proper clip
functionality.
2. For positioning, align the mesiodistal wings of the bracket with the long axis of the
tooth and the archwire slot with the occlusal surface.
3. Insert the archwire into the slot, and push the clip lightly with a fingertip. When
fixing the wire to a largely rotated tooth, initially use thin round wire (equivalent to
SENTALLOY® Blue) and seat the wire with a Ligature Tucking Instrument.
4. When changing the wire, open the clip by pushing down occlusally on the notch
(“Whale Tail”) of the clip in the center of the gingival tie wings.
5. *Alternatively in cases where the gingival notch is inaccessible due to gingival inflammation, you can also utilize the “Opin-R” notch on the facial surface of the clip applying gentle pressure occlusally with a mini scaler or similar instrument.
*The “Opin R” feature should not be used as the primary method for opening InOvation R brackets.
6. To close the clip; simply apply gingival pressure to the clip with a gloved finger.
Suggested De-bonding Procedure
• For de-bonding, first fully scrape off the bonding material near the base; place a ligature
cutter or bracket de-bonding instrument in the occlusal/gingival position and squeeze.
Warranty and Limited Remedy
• GAC warrants that this product is free from defects in materials and manufacture.
• GAC’s sole obligation and customer’s sole remedy in the event of a claimed defect shall
be limited to replacement merchandise or refund of the purchase price.

Gebruiksindicaties

Voorzorgsmaatregelen

• Houd de beugel tijdens het plaatsen in de mesiodistale richting. Indien de beugel in de
gingivaal-occlusale richting wordt gehouden, kan de clip sluiten.
• Neem tijdens het hechten voorzorgsmaatregelen om overmatig hechtmateriaal te
voorkomen, omdat dit aan de clip kan hechten en een negatieve invloed op het
openingsmechanisme van de clip kan hebben.
• Gebruik bij zeer dicht op elkaar staande tanden aanvankelijk dunne, ronde draad.
• Dit product is uitsluitend voor eenmalig gebruik en mag niet opnieuw worden gebruikt.

Stap voor stap instructies
1. Gebruik een hechtmiddel voor orthodontie om de beugel aan de tand te hechten.
Raadpleeg voor gebruik de gebruiksaanwijzing bij het hechtmiddel.
Op dit moment staat de clip open. Voorkom dat er te veel hechtmateriaal in contact
komt met de clip omdat deze hierdoor hard kan worden en niet meer goed functioneert.
2. Lijn tijdens het plaatsen de mesiodistale vleugels van de beugel uit met de lange as van
de tand en de boogdraadsleuf met het occlusale oppervlak.
3. Steek de boogdraad in de sleuf en druk de clip met een vingertop licht aan. Gebruikbij
het bevestigen van de draad aan een ver gedraaide tand aanvankelijk dunne, ronde
draad (equivalent aan SENTALLOY® Blue) en plaats de draad met een modelleerinstrument.
4. Bij het vervangen van de draad opent u de clip door occlusaal op de inkeping
(‘walvisstaart’) van de clip in het midden van de gingivale knoopvleugels.
5. *Alternatief: indien de gingivale inkeping niet toegankelijk is vanwege een gingivale
ontsteking, kunt u ook de ‘Opin-R’-inkeping op het oppervlak van de clip gebruiken
door lichte occlusale druk uit te oefenen met een klein instrument.
* De ‘Opin R’-functie moet niet worden gebruikt als de standaardmethode om
In-Ovation R-beugels te openen.
6. Om de clip te sluiten, oefent u gewoon gingivale druk uit op de clip met een
gehandschoende vinger.
Aanbevolen verwijderingsprocedure
• Voor het verwijderen: schraap eerst het hechtmateriaal in de buurt van de basis volledig
weg, plaats vervolgens een ligatuursnijder of beugelverwijderingsinstrument in de
occlusale/gingivale stand en knijp erin.
Beperkte garantie
• GAC biedt de garantie dat dit product vrij is van materiaal- en arbeidsfouten.
• De enige verplichting van GAC en de enige remedie voor de klant in het geval van een

Mise en garde

Précautions

• Une ixation sur des couronnes en céramique ou des facettes peut causer l’écaillage ou
la cassure de la couronne ou de la facette lors du traitement ou du retrait de l’appareil.
• Pour positionner le bracket, le tenir en direction médio-distale. Si le bracket est tenu en
direction occluso-gingivale, l’agrafe peut se refermer.
• Lors de la ixation, faire très attention avec l’excédent de matière de ixation car il peut
adhé er à l’agrafe et affecter de façon négative le mécanisme d’ouverture de l’agrafe.
• Pour les cas d’encombrement dentaire sévère, utiliser tout d’abord un il rond et fin.
• Le produit est destiné à un usage unique exclusivement. Ne pas réutiliser le produit.
• Utilisation réservée aux professionnels uniquement.
• Ne pas utiliser si des déformations ou détériorations sont constatées. Contacter un

Mode d’emploi détaillé
1. Fixer le bracket à chacune des dents en utilisant un adhésif de qualité orthodontique.
Pour l’utilisation de l’adhésif orthodontique, se référer aux instructions jointes avec
l’adhésif.
À ce stade, l’agrafe est en position ouverte. Éviter que l’excédent de matière de
fixation n’entre en contact avec l’agrafe car il pourrait se solidiier et empêcher le bon
fonctionnement de l’agrafe.
2. Pour le positionnement, aligner les ailettes médio-distales du bracket avec le grand
axe de la dent et la fente pour arc orthodontique avec la surface occlusale.
3. Insérer l’arc dans la fente et pousser légèrement l’agrafe du bout du doigt. Lors de la
fixation du il sur une dent en très forte rotation, utiliser tout d’abord un il rond et in
(équivalent au SENTALLOY® Blue) et poser le il à l’aide d’un instrument de pose de
ligatures.
4. Lors du changement de il, ouvrir l’agrafe en exerçant une pression occlusale,
sur l’encoche (« Queue de baleine ») de l’agrafe, au centre des ailettes gingivales
d’ancrage.
5. *Ou bien, au cas où l’encoche gingivale serait inaccessible en raison d’une
inflammation de la gencive, il est également possible d’utiliser l’encoche « Opin-R »
située sur la partie faciale de l’agrafe, en appliquant une légère pression occlusale à
l’aide d’un mini scaler ou d’un instrument similaire.
* La fonction « Opin R » ne doit pas être utilisée en premier lieu pour l’ouverture des
brackets In-Ovation R.
6. Pour fermer l’agrafe, appliquer simplement une pression gingivale sur l’agrafe avec un
doigt ganté.
Procédure de retrait suggérée
• Pour retirer l’appareil, commencer par enlever en raclant la matière de fixation près
de la base ; placer des ciseaux à ligatures ou un instrument de dé-ixation en position
occlusale/gingivale puis presser.
Garantie et réparation
• GAC garantit que ce produit est dépourvu de tout défaut de matériau ou de fabrication.
• La seule obligation de GAC et le seul recours pour le client en cas de défaut déclaré

• Halten Sie das Bracket zur Positionierung in mesiodistaler Ausrichtung. Wenn das
Bracket in gingival-okklusaler Ausrichtung gehalten wird, kann sich der Clip schließen.
• Treffen Sie beim Kleben Vorsichtsmaßnahmen für überschüssiges Klebematerial, da
überschüssiges Material am Clip anhaften und den Clip-Öffnungsmechanismus negativ
beeinlussen kann.
• Verwenden Sie bei einem extremen Engstand dünnen Runddraht.
• Das Produkt ist nur für den Einmalgebrauch bestimmt. Das Produkt nicht wiederverwenden.
• Nur für den professionellen Gebrauch.

“Opin R” -Funktion
Schrittweise Gebrauchsanweisung
1. Kleben Sie ein Bracket an jeden Zahn unter Verwendung eines orthodontischen
Klebers. Lesen Sie die dem Kleber beigefügten Anweisungen zur Verwendung des
orthodontischen Klebers.
Zunächst ist der Clip in der offenen Position. Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt
überschüssigen Klebematerials mit dem Clip, da er erhärten und die ordnungsgemäße
Funktion des Clips beeinträchtigen könnte.
2. Richten Sie für die Positionierung die mesiodistalen Flügel des Brackets mit der
langen Achse des Zahnes und den Bogendrahtschlitz mit der okklusalen Fläche aus.
3. Führen Sie den Bogendraht in den Schlitz ein und drücken Sie den Clip vorsichtig mit
der Fingerspitze. Beim Fixieren des Drahtes an einem weit rotierten Zahn verwenden
Sie anfangs einen dünnen runden Draht (gleichwertig mit SENTALLOY® Blue) und
setzen Sie den Draht mit einem Ligaturinstrument ein.
4. Wenn Sie den Draht wechseln, öffnen Sie den Clip durch okklusalen Druck auf die
Einkerbung (in V-Form) des Clips im Zentrum der gingivalen Bindungslügel.
5. *Alternativ können Sie in Fällen, in denen die gingivale Einkerbung aufgrund einer
gingivalen Entzündung nicht zugänglich ist, auch die „Opin R”-Einkerbung an der
fazialen Oberläche des Clips verwenden, indem Sie einen sanften okklusalen Druck
mit einem Minischaber oder einem ähnlichen Instrument ausüben.
* Die “Opin R”-Funktion sollte nicht als primäre Methode zum Öffnen von In-Ovation
R-Brackets angewandt werden.
6. Zum Schließen des Clips üben Sie gingivalen Druck mit einem behandschuhten Finger
auf den Clip aus.
Empfohlenes Ablöseverfahren
• Zum Ablösen kratzen Sie erst das Klebematerial an der Basis vollständig ab, setzen Sie
ein Ligaturmesser bzw. ein Instrument für die Bracketablösung in die Okklusal-/
Gingivalposition ein und drücken Sie.
Gewährleistung und beschränkter Rechtsbehelf
• GAC gewährleistet, dass dieses Produkt frei von Material- und Herstellungsfehlern ist.
• Die alleinige Verplichtung von GAC und der einzige Rechtsbehelf des Kunden im Falle
eines geltend gemachten Mangels sind auf den Ersatz der Ware bzw. die Erstattung des
Kaufpreises beschränkt.

Istruzioni fase per fase
1. Incollare un attacco su ciascun dente per mezzo di un adesivo ortodontico. Per l’uso

2. Per il posizionamento, allineare le alette mesio-distali dell’attacco con l’asse
longitudinale del dente e la scanalatura per arco con il piano occlusale.
3. Introdurre il ilo dell’arco nella scanalatura (slot) e spingere leggermente la clip con la
punta di un dito. Quando si issa il ilo ad un dente fortemente ruotato, utilizzare
inizialmente un ilo rotondo sottile (equivalente al SENTALLOY® Blue) e insediarlo
con un direzionatore di legature.
4. Per cambiare il ilo, aprire la clip spingendo in basso in direzione occlusale
sull’incavo (“coda di balena”) della clip al centro delle alette per legature gengivali.
5. *In alternativa, nei casi in cui l’incavo gengivale fosse inaccessibile per
un’infiammazione della gengiva, è possibile utilizzare anche l’incavo “Opin-R”sulla
supericie facciale della clip applicando una delicata pressione in direzione occlusale
con un mini-scaler o un simile strumento.
* L’incavo“Opin R” non deve essere usato quale metodo principale per l’apertura
degli attacchi In-Ovation R.
6. Per chiudere la clip, applicare una pressione gengivale alla clip con la punta del dito.
Procedura suggerita di debonding
• Per il debonding, dapprima grattare via interamente il materiale adesivo vicino alla
base; collocare un cutter per legatura o uno strumento di debonding degli attacchi in
posizione occlusale/gengivale e premere.
Garanzia e rimedio limitato
• GAC garantisce che il prodotto è esente da difetti nei materiali e di fabbricazione.
• L’unico obbligo di GAC e l’unico rimedio per il cliente nel caso di reclamo a causa di

Instrucciones de uso de In-Ovation® R
Precaución
• La ley federal de los Estados Unidos limita la venta de este dispositivo a dentistas o
con la prescripción de dentistas.
Indicaciones de uso
• Indicado para el movimiento ortodóncico de dientes.
Contraindicaciones
• Los aparatos ijos In-Ovation R no deben adherirse a supericies restauradas o con el
esmalte en situación peligrosa.
• Los aparatos fijos In-Ovation R están contraindicados para pacientes con alergia al
níquel.
Advertencias
• Para usar solo una vez.
• El dispositivo contiene níquel, que puede producir reacciones alérgicas.
Precauciones
• La adhesión de aparatos fijos a dientes en situación peligrosa (por ejemplo, con grandes
restauraciones, para fijar laterales o con condiciones patológicas preexistentes) puede
aumentar el riesgo de daño dental.
• No use el producto para ningún otro in que el ortodóncico.
• Dé instrucciones a los pacientes de no masticar o morder sustancias duras como
golosinas duras, hielo o zanahorias.
• Si abre el clip utilizando la característica “Opin R”, tenga la precaución de no exceder
la apertura ya que el clip podría deformarse.
• La adhesión a coronas o frentes de porcelana puede ocasionar pequeños
desprendimientos o rotura de la corona o el frente durante el tratamiento o el despegado.
• Para colocarlo, sostenga el aparato ijo en sentido mesiodistal. Si el aparato fijo se
sostiene en sentido gingival-oclusal, el clip podría cerrarse.
• Al adherir, tome precauciones con el pegamento ya que éste puede adherirse al clip y
dañar el mecanismo de apertura del clip.
• En casos de apiñamiento grave, use inicialmente un alambre redondo delgado.
• El producto es para usar una sola vez. No reutilice este producto.
• Solo para uso profesional.

Instrucciones
1. Adhiera el aparato fijo a cada diente con pegamento ortodóncico. Antes de usar el
pegamento ortodóncico, consulte las instrucciones que lo acompañan.
En este momento, el clip está abierto. Evite que el pegamento excedente entre en
contacto con el clip ya que se solidiicaría e interferirá con el funcionamiento correcto
del clip.
2. Para la colocación, alinee las aletas mesiodistales del aparato fijo con el eje
longitudinal del diente y la ranura del arco de alambre con la supericie oclusal.
3. Introduzca el arco de alambre en la ranura y empuje el clip ligeramente con la yema
de un dedo. Cuando se coloca el alambre en un diente muy girado, use inicialmente
un alambre redondo delgado (equivalente a SENTALLOY® Blue) y asiéntelo con un
instrumento para colocación de ligaduras.
4. Para cambiar el alambre, abra el clip empujando en sentido oclusal la proyección
(“cola de ballena”) del clip en la parte central de las aletas de atadura gingivales.
5. *Alternativamente, cuando no pueda acceder a la ranura gingival debido a
inflamación de la encía, también puede utilizar la ranura “Opin-R” en la supericie de
la cara anterior del clip y ejercer una ligera presión en sentido oclusal con un raspador
pequeño o instrumento similar.
* La característica “Opin R” no debe utilizarse como método primario para abrir
aparatos fijos In-Ovation R.
6. Para cerrar el clip, simplemente ejerza presión en sentido gingival sobre el clip con un
dedo protegido con guantes.
Procedimiento sugerido de despegado
• Para despegar, primero raspe completamente el pegamento cerca de la base, coloque
un cortador de ligaduras o instrumento para despegar aparatos fijos en la posición
oclusal/gingival y apriete.
Garantía y Recurso limitado
• GAC garantiza que este producto carece de defectos de materiales y fabricación.
• La única obligación de GAC y el único recurso del cliente en el caso de reclamación
por defectos se limitará a la sustitución de los productos o el reembolso del precio de
compra.
