Following its 30th anniversary and the 25th anniversary
of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, the Crans Montana Forum is launching a key Initiative

The first annual Session of the
Crans Montana Forum took place in 1990
just after the fall of the Berlin Wall, in order
to establish pathways between the newlyfreed East, and Western Europe. The
Forum well and truly accomplished this
mission, being the only Organization to
take on such an initiative at that very
moment.
La première session annuelle du Forum de
Crans Montana s’est tenue en 1990, au
moment de la chute du Mur de Berlin, afin
de mettre en place un lien entre l’Est
devenu démocratique et l’Ouest de
l’Europe. Le Forum a accompli brillamment
cette mission, étant la seule Organisation à
avoir pris, à temps, une telle initiative.
Actually,
the
classic
East-West
relationship, which was so important in the
90’s, has outrun its concept. Today the
agenda is to consolidate as a new group,
the democracies emerged from the
downfall of Communism. A new World
power has appeared on the international
stage, and is continuously growing in terms
of Economic and Political influence.
Cette relation basique est-ouest, si
importante au début des années 90, est
aujourd’hui dépassée dans son concept. La
création d’un nouvel ensemble propre aux
nouvelles démocraties nées de la chute du
communisme est par contre à l’ordre du
jour. Une nouvelle puissance mondiale est
apparue sur la scène qui accroît chaque jour
son influence politique et son potentiel
économique.
Indeed, it is here that we find the
alternative potential of growth for the
World. It is here that the hope which has
been notably lacking due to the recent
economic, financial and security crises, can
be reborn.
C’est en effet là que se trouve le potentiel
alternatif de croissance pour notre monde.
C’est là que l’espoir qui a tellement fait
défaut depuis la survenance récente des
crises économique, financière et sécuritaire
peut renaître.
The Crans Montana Forum from Central
to Far-Eastern Europe is therefore a totally
new Initiative, entirely dedicated to the
concerns and the World integration of
Central and Eastern European States, right
up to the “Great Europe” Far East which
has grown unrelentingly over the years.
Le Forum de Crans Montana de l’Europe
Centrale à l’Extrême Orientale est donc une
Initiative
qui
se
consacre
aux
problématiques et à l’intégration des Etats
de l’Europe Centrale et de l’Est, jusqu’à
l’Extrême Orient de cette Grande Europe
qui se crée inexorablement au fil des ans.
This new Forum is obviously entirely
supported and accompanied by the Crans
Montana Forum, its network, reputation
and good will.
Ce nouveau Forum s’appuie évidemment
sur l’expérience du Forum de Crans
Montana, ses réseaux, sa réputation et ses
acquis.
The aims are to
(1) work on the creation and
reinforcement of the social, political and
economic links within the Region itself and
(2) to stimulate the development of each
country’s
Economic
International
Relations
Il s’agit de
(1) travailler à la création et au
renforcement
des
liens
sociaux,
économiques et politiques à l’intérieur de la
Région elle-même et de
(2) stimuler le développement des relations
économiques internationales de chaque
pays
The countries that will invited to join this
initiative are those from Central Europe
(from Tallinn to Greece), passing through
South Eastern Europe, to the CIS Member
States, through the Caucasus and up to the
boundaries of China.
Les Etats invités à rejoindre cette Initiative
composent l’Europe Centrale, de Tallinn à la
Grèce en passant par l’Europe du Sud-Est
auxquels il convient d’ajouter les pays
membres de la CEI en passant par le
Caucase jusqu’aux confins de la Chine.
This is a huge and unique group which
represents a decisive Economic driving
force for the World, and whose
characteristics, concerns and Integration
process, deserve both specialized
attention and the creation of this new
Organization.
Il s’agit d’un ensemble gigantesque qui
représente
une
force
économique
déterminante pour la planète et dont la
spécificité, les interrogations et les
modalités d’intégration méritent une
grande attention et la création de cette
nouvelle Organisation.
It is at the heart of this enlarged European
Region that the Business opportunities
and the Investment potential are today
the most important. The Forum will
mobilize Economic players from around
the World and offer this interactive
platform, which will allow them to reach
their goals.

The Crans Montana Forum from Central
to Far-Eastern Europe is organized around
a major annual event which will take place
for its first session of 2016 in an
outstanding Palace of Vienna (Austria). It
will then move amongst the various
capitals.

Centrale à l’Extrême Orientale s’organise
autour d’un événement majeur et annuel
qui se tiendra, pour la première année,
2016, à Vienne dans un magnifique Palais.
Par la suite il se déplacera dans telle ou telle
capitale. C’est son ambition.
Highly specialized sessions, on technical or
regional and national themes will be
additionally organized, the year long, in
partnership with major international
companies.
Des sessions très spécialisées, thématiques,
régionales et nationales seront, en
complément, organisées au cours de
l’année en partenariat avec de grandes
entreprises.
