Vandana has more than 15 years of experience in Canadian and US immigration law.
Before joining Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, she was employed for six years in various
roles of increasing seniority with the Immigration Section of the Canadian visa office in
New Delhi, one of the busiest overseas offices of the Department of Foreign Affairs and
International Trade. She was responsible for review of family class and skilled worker
applications and for making recommendations to Immigration Officers for entering
selection decisions. She has also worked with many of the leading immigration law
firms in Toronto.


preparing temporary residence, permanent, citizenship and permanent
resident card applications for submission to Citizenship and Immigration
Canada, the Canada Border Services Agency, Service Canada and
Canadian visa offices abroad;

working with corporate clients and their human resources teams to find
the right immigration solutions for their employees; and

working and dealing with Service Canada and Canadian immigration
offices in Canada and overseas to ensure smooth processing of
immigration applications.
