SPECIFIC VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR THAILAND
BUSINESS VISA
” - original passport, valid for at least 6 months after return to Canada,
” - one (1) fully completed and signed visa application form,
” - two (2) recent passport-style photographs,
” - a letter from the company you work for, stating the purpose of your visit.
TOURIST VISA
This visa is required for stays of more than thirty (30) days, and less than sixty (60) days.
” - original passport, valid for at least 6 months after return to Canada,
” - one (1) fully completed and signed visa application form,
” - two (2) recent passport-style photographs,
” - copy of your air ticket, in your name, into and out of Thailand.
NOTE for TEACHERS (teaching visas)
” - Teachers must provide a recent criminal records check (copy to Embassy, original to Thailand)

Since 2005 we have donated several tonnes of rice and foodstuffs to the LIFE AND HOPE
ASSOCIATION of Siem Reap, Cambodia, to help support orphans and the poorest and most
vulnerable children and families. Through our assistance, many children have been able to go
to school, as they do not have to spend the day begging for money to buy food.

The LHA is an education-focussed NGO run by the buddhist monks of Wat Damnak. A full
100% of your donation is spent on the provision of charity, not on overhead or administration.
The monk who runs LHA, the Venerable Somnieng Hoeurn, visited Ottawa in June 2010,
where he met many potential donors, visited Rideau Hall, and saw the Governor General.
