La prothèse ISIS est issue des travaux du groupe GUEPAR (www.guepar.org) et de chirurgiens spécialistes de la main.
ISIS revendique une filiation directe par rapport à ces travaux qui font référence depuis plus de 20 ans (1, 2, 3).
Dans sa version revêtue, ISIS est le prolongement sans ciment de la prothèse GUEPAR.
The ISIS trapeziometacarpal design is based on 20 years of practice and research

Résultats cliniques
Clinical results
Les indications sont les lésions trapézio-métacarpiennes arthrosiques
rhizarthrose) chez le patient âgé et actif, mais non travailleur de force.
Le trapèze doit avoir conservé une hauteur suffisante pour permettre
l’insertion de la cupule trapézienne sans fragilisation des murs corticaux.
Un trapèze trop petit (<8mm) est une contre-indication stricte à la PTM.

The indications are osteoarthritis of the trapeziometacarpal joint for
aged and active patients not practicing strenght activities. The
trapezial bone must be thick enough to allow perfect sitting of the cup
whilst not jeopardizing its cortical integrity. A very small trapezial bone
is a strict contra-indication to the TMP.
