l'information et sert d'unité d'entrée pour un ordinateur.
L'appareil ne doit pas être utilisé en dehors d'espaces
clos. Cet appareil n'est pas conçu pour une utilisation
en entreprise ni pour une utilisation professionnelle
(telle que les applications bureautiques). Utilisez l'appareil exclusivement dans l'habitat pour un usage privé.
Tout usage autre ou dépassant ce cadre est réputé non
conforme. Toute réclamation visant des dommages
issus d'un usage non conforme sera rejetée. L'utilisateur

des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales

en toute sécurité et d’avoir compris les dangers qui
en résultent. Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec
l’appareil. Il est interdit aux enfants de nettoyer ou
d’entretenir l’appareil sans surveillance.

en service un appareil endommagé ou qui a chuté.

produisant de la chaleur.
■■ N'essayez pas d'ouvrir l'appareil.
■■ Ne procédez pas à des transformations ou des
modifications sur l'appareil de votre propre initiative.
■■ N'exposez pas l'appareil aux projections d'eau ou
aux gouttes d'eau et ne placez pas d'objets remplis
de liquides tels que des vases ou des boissons
ouvertes sur l’appareil ou à côté de celui-ci.

Une manipulation incorrecte des piles peut
entraîner un incendie, des explosions, une
fuite de substances dangereuses ou d'autres
situations dangereuses !
►► Ne jetez pas les piles au feu et ne les exposez
pas à des températures élevées.
►► N'ouvrez pas les piles, ne les déformez et ne les
court-circuitez pas vu que les produits chimiques
qu'elles contiennent risquent de s'écouler.
►► N'essayez pas de recharger les piles. Seules les
piles marquées comme "rechargeables" doivent
être rechargées . Risque d'explosion !
►► Vérifiez régulièrement les piles. Les produits chimiques qui ont fui de la pile peuvent endommager
irréversiblement l'appareil. Lorsque vous maniez des
piles endommagées ou usagées, usez de beaucoup
de prudence. Risque de brûlure chimique ! Portez
des gants de protection.

Danger
►► Les produits chimiques qui s'échappent d'une pile
peuvent entraîner des irritations cutanées. En cas
de contact avec la peau, rincez abondamment
à l'eau. En cas de contact des produits chimiques
avec les yeux, rincez-les abondamment à l'eau,
ne les frotter pas et consultez immédiatement un
médecin.
►► Conservez les piles hors de portée des enfants.
Les enfants pourraient mettre les piles dans leur
bouche et les avaler. Si une pile a été avalée, il
faut immédiatement consulter un médecin car elle
risque d’occasionner de graves brûlures chimiques
intérieures dans les 2 heures et d’entraîner la mort.
►► Les types de piles ou d'accus différents ne doivent
pas être mélangés.
►► Insérez toujours les piles en respectant les polarités
faute de quoi il y a risque d'éclatement.
►► Retirez les piles de l'appareil, si vous ne l'utilisez
pas pendant une période prolongée.

REMARQUE
►► Vérifiez si la livraison est au complet et ne présente
aucun dégât apparent.
►► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages
résultant d'un emballage défectueux ou du transport, veuillez vous adresser au service après-vente
(cf. chapitre Service après-vente).
Retirez de l'emballage toutes les pièces de l'appareil et
éliminez l'ensemble du matériau d'emballage.
Élimination de l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport. Les matériaux d'emballage
ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de
l'environnement et de recyclage permettant une élimination écologique de ceux-ci.
Le recyclage de l'emballage en filière de
revalorisation permet d'économiser des
matières premières et de réduire le volume
de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les matériaux
d'emballage qui ne servent plus en respectant la
réglementation locale.
Le produit récyclable doit être trié ou
rapporté dans un point de collecte pour être
recycle.

Mise en place / remplacement des piles
♦♦ Ouvrez le compartiment à piles 8 situé sous la
souris sans fil.
♦♦ Insérez 2 piles de 1,5 V de type AA dans le compartiment à piles 8 en respectant la polarité. Insérez
d'abord une pile dans le compartiment du bas et la
deuxième pile dans le compartiment plus élevé.
Veillez à ce que la bande de plastique se trouve
sous les piles, pour faciliter un changement de piles.
♦♦ Refermez le compartiment à piles 8.
ATTENTION
►► Utilisez toujours les piles d'un fabricant et du
même type. Remplacez toujours les deux piles
en même temps afin d'éviter d'endommager
l'appareil.
Raccordement du nano récepteur USB
♦♦ Retirez de votre ordinateur une souris éventuellement raccordée précédemment et démarrez votre
ordinateur.
♦♦ Retirez le nano-récepteur USB 0 du compartiment
de rangement 9 situé sous la souris sans fil.
♦♦ Raccordez le nano-récepteur USB 0 à un port USB
libre de votre ordinateur allumé.

Le système d'exploitation reconnaît le nouveau matériel
et installe automatiquement les pilotes nécessaires.
Après l'installation des pilotes, la souris sans fil est prête
à l'emploi et peut être utilisée.
Mode d'économie d'énergie
La souris sans fil est équipée d'un mode d'économie
d'énergie.
■■ Lorsque vous éteignez l'ordinateur, la souris sans fil
s'éteint automatiquement après env. 8 minutes pour
économiser du courant.
■■ Lorsque vous retirez le nano-récepteur USB 0 de
l'ordinateur, la souris sans fil s'éteint après env.
8 minutes pour économiser du courant.
■■ Si vous ne cliquez pas, ne faites pas défiler ni ne
bougez la souris, elle s'éteint après env. 8 minutes.
Dès que vous appuyez sur un bouton quelconque
de la souris sans fil ou que vous faites défiler, la
souris sans fil se rallume.
Commutation du mode de fonctionnement
Avec le bouton DPI 4, vous pouvez basculer entre les
résolutions 1000 dpi, 1500 dpi et 2000 dpi pour le
balayage optique. Plus la résolution est élevée, plus le
balayage de la souris sans fil est précis.

Installation du logiciel
Afin de pouvoir utiliser toutes les fonctionnalités de la
souris sans fil, vous devez installer le logiciel fourni.
REMARQUE
►► Les illustrations et les descriptions suivantes se
rapportent au système d'exploitation Microsoft®
Windows®7. L'affichage de l'écran peut varier en
fonction des paramètres d'affichage dans d'autres
systèmes d'exploitation.
♦♦ Insérez le CD du logiciel fourni q dans le lecteur
CD-ROM de votre ordinateur.
Le processus d'installation devrait démarrer automatiquement.
♦♦ Si cela n'est pas le cas, démarrez le fichier
"setup.exe" manuellement sur le CR-ROM
par un double-clic.
L'installation démarre et l'assistant d'installation est
configuré.

La fenêtre de démarrage de l'assistant d'installation
s'affiche.
♦♦ Cliquez sur le bouton "Suivant >".
♦♦ Dans l'étape suivante, vous pouvez sélectionner le
dossier de destination pour l'installation via le bouton
"Parcourir" ou utiliser le dossier de destination suggéré.
♦♦ Pour continuer, cliquez sur le bouton "Suivant >".

♦♦ Pour terminer l'installation, cliquez sur le bouton
"Terminer". L'ordinateur redémarre.
Configuration des différents boutons de
la souris
Avec le logiciel, vous pouvez personnaliser les fonctions
des boutons de la souris en les adaptant à vos besoins.

♦♦ Double-cliquez sur ce symbole
des tâches (en bas à droite de votre écran à côté
de l'horloge) ou cliquez avec le bouton droit de la
souris sur l'icône
puis sélectionnez "Propriétés de
souris" dans la boite de dialogue suivante.

Le menu de configuration de la souris apparaît.
♦♦ Sélectionnez l'onglet "Configuration du bouton de souris".
Ici, vous pouvez définir à présent une fonction pour
chacun des cinq boutons.
♦♦ Pour cela, cliquez sur les boutons de sélection
derrière les boutons de la souris correspondants
et choisissez une fonction à partir du menu.
♦♦ Pour activer les modifications, cliquez sur le bouton
"Appliquer" (la fenêtre reste ouverte) ou cliquez sur
le bouton "OK" (la fenêtre se ferme).

♦♦ Avec le bouton "Rétablir les valeurs par défaut", vous
pouvez ramener les boutons de la souris sans fil à
son état d'origine.
Les autres onglets de menu de configuration contiennent
les options de configuration du système d'exploitation
respectif.
Dépannage
Si la souris sans fil n'est pas détectée après l'installation
ou ne réagit pas à l'entrée, veuillez vérifier ce qui suit :
♦♦ Vérifiez que les piles ont été insérées avec la bonne
polarité.
♦♦ Vérifiez que le nano-récepteur USB 0 est correctement connecté à l'ordinateur.
♦♦ Utilisez un autre port USB sur votre ordinateur.
♦♦ Vérifiez la capacité des piles et insérez des piles
neuves si nécessaire.
♦♦ Notez que vous devez utiliser un support (tapis de
souris) si vous utilisez la souris sans fil sur une surface
en verre ou une surface brillante.

REMARQUE
►► Si vous ne pouvez pas résoudre le problème en
prenant les mesures susmentionnées, veuillez vous
adresser au service après-vente (voir chapitre
Service après-vente).
Nettoyage
ATTENTION
►► La pénétration d'humidité peut entraîner des
courts-circuits et endommager l'appareil. Lors du
nettoyage de l'appareil, veillez à ce qu'aucune
humidité ne pénètre dans ce dernier afin d'éviter
tous dégâts irréparables.
■■ Nettoyez le boîtier exclusivement à l'aide d'un chiffon
humecté et d'un détergent doux.
Stockage
Si vous n'utilisez pas les piles pendant une durée prolongée, retirez le nano-récepteur USB 0 de l'ordinateur
et rangez-le dans le compartiment de rangement 9 au
bas de la souris sans fil.
Retirez les piles de l'appareil et rangez-le dans un
endroit propre et sec non exposé à l'ensoleillement.

Mise au rebut
Mise au rebut de l'appareil
Le symbole ci-contre d'une poubelle à roues
barrée montre que cet appareil est soumis à la
directive 2012/19/EU. Cette directive stipule
que vous ne devez pas éliminer cet appareil en fin de
vie avec les ordures ménagères, mais le rapporter aux
points de collecte désignés, aux centres de recyclage ou
aux entreprises de gestion des déchets.
Cette mise au rebut est gratuite. Respectez
l'environnement et mettez au rebut de manière
conforme.
Vous obtiendrez de plus amples informations auprès de
votre collecteur local ou de l'administration de votre ville
ou commune.
Mise au rebut des piles / accus
Il est interdit de jeter les piles/accus aux ordures ménagères. Chaque consommateur est légalement tenu de
rapporter les piles/accumulateurs à un point de collecte
de sa commune/son quartier ou dans le commerce.
Cette obligation a pour objectif d'assurer le traitement
écologique des piles et accus. Ne jetez que des piles/
accus à l'état déchargé. Si les piles/accus sont partiellement déchargés, collez-les avec du ruban adhésif pour
les protéger contre les courts-circuits.

d’achat. Si ce produit venait à présenter des vices, vous
disposez de droits légaux face au vendeur de ce produit. Vos droits légaux ne sont pas restreints par notre
garantie présentée ci-dessous.
Conditions de garantie
La période de garantie débute à la date de l’achat.
Veuillez bien conserver le ticket de caisse d’origine. Ce
document servira de preuve d’achat.
Si dans un délai de trois ans suivant la date d’achat de
ce produit, un vice de matériel ou de fabrication venait
à apparaître, le produit sera réparé ou remplacé gratuitement par nos soins, selon notre choix. Cette prestation
de garantie nécessite dans un délai de trois ans la
présentation de l’appareil défectueux et du justificatif
d’achat (ticket de caisse) ainsi que la description brève
du vice et du moment de son apparition.

Si le vice est couvert par notre garantie, vous recevrez le
produit réparé ou un nouveau produit en retour. Aucune
nouvelle période de garantie ne débute avec la réparation ou l’échange du produit.
Période de garantie et réclamation légale
pour vices cachés
L’exercice de la garantie ne prolonge pas la période
de garantie. Cette disposition s’applique également
aux pièces remplacées ou réparées. Les dommages
et vices éventuellement déjà présents à l’achat doivent
être signalés immédiatement après le déballage. Toute
réparation survenant après la période sous garantie
fera l’objet d’une facturation.
Étendue de la garantie
L’appareil a été fabriqué avec soin conformément à
des directives de qualité strictes et consciencieusement
contrôlé avant sa livraison. La prestation de garantie
est valable pour des vices de matériel et de fabrication.
Cette garantie ne s’étend pas aux pièces du produit
qui sont exposées à une usure normale et peuvent de
ce fait être considérées comme pièces d’usure, ni aux
détériorations de pièces fragiles, par ex. connecteur,
accu, moules ou pièces en verre. Cette garantie devient
caduque si le produit est détérioré, utilisé ou entretenu
de manière non conforme. Toutes les instructions listées
dans le manuel d’utilisation doivent être exactement
respectées pour une utilisation conforme du produit.
Des buts d’utilisation et actions qui sont déconseillés

dans le manuel d’utilisation, ou dont vous êtes avertis
doivent également être évités. Le produit est uniquement
destiné à un usage privé et ne convient pas à un usage
professionnel. La garantie est annulée en cas d’entretien
incorrect et inapproprié, d’usage de la force et en cas
d’intervention non réalisée par notre centre de service
après-vente agréé.
Lorsque l‘acheteur demande au vendeur, pendant le
cours de la garantie commerciale qui lui a été consentie lors de l‘acquisition ou de la réparation d‘un bien
meuble, une remise en état couverte par la garantie,
toute période d‘immobilisation d‘au moins sept jours
vient s‘ajouter à la durée de la garantie qui restait à
courir. Cette période court à compter de la demande
d‘intervention de l‘acheteur ou de la mise à disposition pour réparation du bien en cause, si cette mise à
disposition est postérieure à la demande d‘intervention.
Indépendamment de la garantie commerciale souscrite, le vendeur reste tenu des défauts de conformité
du bien et des vices rédhibitoires dans les conditions
prévues aux articles L211-4 à L211-13 du Code de la
consommation et aux articles 1641 à 1648 et 2232 du
Code Civil.
Le vendeur est tenu de livrer un bien conforme au
contrat et répond des défauts de conformité existant lors
de la délivrance. Il répond également des défauts de

deux ans à compter de la délivrance du bien.
Le vendeur est tenu de la garantie à raison des défauts
cachés de la chose vendue qui la rendent impropre à

cet usage que l‘acheteur ne l‘aurait pas acquise, ou n‘en
aurait donné qu‘un moindre prix, s‘il les avait connus.
L‘action résultant des vices rédhibitoires doit être intentée

►► Werfen Sie Batterien nicht ins Feuer und setzen Sie
sie keinen hohen Temperaturen aus.
►► Batterien nicht öffnen, verformen oder kurzschließen, da in diesem Fall enthaltene Chemikalien
auslaufen können.
►► Versuchen Sie nicht, Batterien wieder aufzuladen.
Nur als „aufladbar“ gekennzeichnete Batterien
dürfen wieder aufgeladen werden. Es besteht
Explosionsgefahr!
►► Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Batterien. Ausgetretene Chemikalien können dauerhafte Schäden
am Gerät verursachen. Im Umgang mit beschädigten oder ausgelaufenen Batterien besondere
Vorsicht walten lassen. Verätzungsgefahr! Schutzhandschuhe tragen.

Gefahr
►► Chemikalien, die aus einer Batterie austreten,
können zu Hautreizungen führen. Bei Hautkontakt
mit viel Wasser abspülen. Wenn die Chemikalien in
die Augen gelangt sind, grundsätzlich mit Wasser
ausspülen, nicht reiben und sofort einen Arzt
aufsuchen.
►► Batterien dürfen nicht in die Hände von Kindern
gelangen. Kinder könnten Batterien in den Mund
nehmen und verschlucken. Wurde eine Batterie
verschluckt, muss sofort medizinische Hilfe in
Anspruch genommen werden, da es innerhalb von
2 Stunden zu schweren inneren Verätzungen und
zum Tod führen kann.
►► Unterschiedliche Batterie- bzw. Akkutypen dürfen
nicht gemischt eingesetzt werden.
►► Batterien stets polrichtig einsetzen, da sonst die
Gefahr des Platzens besteht.
►► Entnehmen Sie die Batterien aus dem Gerät, wenn
Sie es längere Zeit nicht benutzen.

HINWEIS
►► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf
sichtbare Schäden.
►► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden
infolge mangelhafter Verpackung oder durch
Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).
Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes aus der Verpackung
und entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.
Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden.
Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten
ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den
Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen.
Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Batterien einlegen / wechseln
♦♦ Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach 8 an der Unterseite der
Funkmaus.
♦♦ Legen Sie 2 x 1,5 V Batterien vom Typ AA polrichtig
in das Batteriefach 8 ein. Legen Sie dabei zuerst
eine Batterie in das tiefergelegene Fach und die
zweite Batterie in das höhergelegene Fach. Achten
Sie darauf, dass sich der Kunststoffstreifen unter
den Batterien befindet, um einen Batteriewechsel zu
erleichtern.
♦♦ Schließen Sie das Batteriefach 8 wieder.
ACHTUNG
►► Verwenden Sie immer Batterien eines Herstellers
und desselben Typs. Ersetzen Sie immer beide
Batterien gleichzeitig, um Schäden am Gerät zu
vermeiden.
Nano-USB-Empfänger anschließen
♦♦ Entfernen Sie eine evtl. vorherige angeschlossene
Maus von Ihrem Computer und starten Sie den
Computer.
♦♦ Entnehmen Sie den Nano-USB-Empfänger 0 aus
dem Aufbewahrungsfach 9 an der Unterseite der
Funkmaus.

♦♦ Schließen Sie den Nano-USB-Empfänger 0 an einen
freien USB-Port Ihres eingeschalteten Computers an.
Das Betriebssystem erkennt die neue Hardware und
installiert automatisch die erforderlichen Treiber. Nach
Installation der Treiber ist die Funkmaus betriebsbereit
und kann verwendet werden.
Stromsparmodus
Die Funkmaus ist mit einem Stromsparmodus ausgestattet.
■■ Wenn Sie den Computer ausschalten, schaltet sich
die Funkmaus nach ca. 8 Minuten automatisch aus,
um Strom zu sparen.
■■ Wenn Sie den Nano-USB-Empfänger 0 vom Computer entfernen, schaltet sich die Funkmaus nach ca. 8
Minuten aus, um Strom zu sparen.
■■ Wenn Sie nicht klicken, scrollen oder die Funkmaus
bewegen, schaltet sie sich nach ca. 8 Minuten aus.
Sobald Sie eine beliebige Taste an der Funkmaus
betätigen oder scrollen, schaltet sich die Funkmaus
wieder ein.
Umschalten der Betriebsart
Mit der DPI-Taste 4 können Sie zwischen den Auflösungen 1000 dpi, 1500 dpi und 2000 dpi für die optische
Abtastung umschalten. Je höher die Auflösung, desto
präziser ist die Abtastung der Funkmaus.

Software installieren
Um den vollen Funktionsumfang der Funkmaus nutzen zu
können, müssen Sie die mitgelieferte Software installieren.
HINWEIS
►► Die folgenden Abbildungen und Beschreibungen
beziehen sich auf das Betriebssystem Microsoft®
Windows®7. Die Bildschirmdarstellung kann in
Abhängigkeit der Anzeigeeinstellungen bei anderen Betriebssystemen abweichen.
♦♦ Legen Sie die mitgelieferte Software-CD q in das
CD-ROM-Laufwerk Ihres Computers ein.
Der Installationsprozess sollte automatisch starten.
♦♦ Ist dies nicht der Fall, starten Sie die Datei „setup.exe“
auf der CD-Rom manuell durch einen Doppelklick.
Die Installation startet und der Installationsassistent wird
konfiguriert.

Das Startfenster des Installationsassistenten wird angezeigt.
♦♦ Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche „Weiter >“.
♦♦ Im nächsten Schritt können Sie den Zielordner für die
Installation über die Schaltfläche „Durchsuchen“ wählen oder den vorgeschlagenen Zielordner verwenden.
♦♦ Zum Fortfahren klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche

Konfiguration der einzelnen Maustasten
Sie können mit der Software die Funktionen der Maustasten individuell Ihrer Wünschen anpassen.
♦♦ Führen Sie einen Doppelklick auf dieses Symbol
in der Taskleiste (unten rechts auf Ihrem Bildschirm,
neben der Systemuhr) aus bzw. klicken Sie mit der
und wählen

Hier können Sie nun für die fünf Tasten jeweils eine
Funktion bestimmen.

der entsprechenden Maustaste und wählen Sie eine
Funktion aus dem Menü aus.
♦♦ Um die Änderungen zu aktivieren, klicken Sie auf

enthalten die Einstelloptionen des jeweiligen Betriebssystems.
Fehlerbehebung
Wenn die Funkmaus nach der Installation nicht erkannt wird
oder nicht auf Eingaben reagiert, prüfen Sie bitte folgendes:
♦♦ Prüfen Sie, ob die Batterien mit der richtigen Polarität
eingelegt sind.
♦♦ Prüfen Sie, ob der Nano-USB-Empfänger 0 richtig
mit dem Computer verbunden ist.
♦♦ Verwenden Sie einen anderen USB-Anschluss an
Ihrem Computer.
♦♦ Prüfen Sie die Kapazität der Batterien und setzen Sie
gegebenenfalls neue Batterien ein.
♦♦ Beachten Sie, dass Sie eine Unterlage (Mousepad)
verwenden sollten, wenn Sie die Funkmaus auf einer
Glasoberfläche oder einer glänzenden Oberfläche
verwenden.

HINWEIS
►► Wenn Sie mit den vorstehend genannten Schritten
das Problem nicht lösen können, wenden Sie sich

Reinigung
ACHTUNG
►► Eindringende Feuchtigkeit kann zu Kurzschlüssen
und einer Beschädigung des Gerätes führen. Stellen
Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit
in das Gerät eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.
■■ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse ausschließlich mit einem
leicht feuchten Tuch und einem milden Spülmittel.
Lagerung bei Nichtbenutzung
Sollten Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, entfernen Sie den Nano-USB-Empfänger 0 vom Computer
und verstauen Sie ihn im Aufbewahrungsfach 9 an der
Unterseite der Funkmaus.
Entnehmen Sie die Batterien aus dem Gerät und lagern
Sie es an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne direkte
Sonneneinstrahlung.

Entsorgung
Gerät entsorgen
Das nebenstehende Symbol einer durchgestrichenen Mülltonne auf Rädern zeigt an, dass
dieses Gerät der Richtlinie 2012/19/EU
unterliegt. Diese Richtlinie besagt, dass Sie dieses Gerät
am Ende seiner Nutzungszeit nicht mit dem normalen
Haushaltsmüll entsorgen dürfen, sondern in speziell
eingerichteten Sammelstellen, Wertstoffhöfen oder
Entsorgungsbetrieben abgeben müssen.
Diese Entsorgung ist für Sie kostenfrei. Schonen
Sie die Umwelt und entsorgen Sie fachgerecht.
Weitere Informationen erhalten Sie bei Ihrem lokalen
Entsorger oder der Stadt bzw. Gemeindeverwaltung.
Batterien / Akkus entsorgen
Batterien/Akkus dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpflichtet, Batterien/
Akkus bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Gemeinde/seines
Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben. Diese Verpflichtung dient dazu, dass Batterien/Akkus einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt werden können. Geben
Sie Batterien/Akkus nur im entladenen Zustand zurück.
Kleben Sie bei teilentladenen Batterien/Akkus die Pole
mit Klebeband ab, um sie gegen Kurzschluss zu sichern.

Folgenden dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte
bewahren Sie den Original Kassenbon gut auf. Diese
Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt. Tritt
innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses
Produkts ein Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird
das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für Sie
kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung
setzt voraus, dass innerhalb der Drei-Jahres-Frist das
defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt
und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel
besteht und wann er aufgetreten ist. Wenn der Defekt von
unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht
verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und reparierte
Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende
Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien
sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft
geprüft. Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder
Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf
Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind
und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können
oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen,
z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile die aus
Glas gefertigt sind. Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das
Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten
Anweisungen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke
und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung

This wireless mouse is an information technology device
designed as an input device for a computer. The device

Basic safety guidelines

Mishandling the batteries can cause fires,
explosions, leakages or other hazards!
►► Do not throw the batteries into a fire and do not
subject them to high temperatures.
►► Do not open, deform or short-circuit batteries,
since this can lead to chemical leakage.
►► Do not attempt to recharge batteries. Do not
charge batteries unless they are explicitly labelled
as "rechargeable". There is a risk of explosion!
►► Check the condition of the batteries at regular
intervals. Leaking chemicals can cause permanent
damage to the device. Take particular care when
handling damaged or leaking batteries. Risk of
chemical burns! Wear protective gloves.
►► Chemicals which leak from a battery can cause
skin irritation. In event of contact with the skin, rinse
with copious amounts of water. If the chemicals come
into contact with your eyes, rinse thoroughly with
water, do not rub and consult a doctor immediately.

►► Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Children can put batteries into their mouth and
swallow them. If a battery has been swallowed,
seek medical assistance immediately as this can
lead to severe internal burns (or even death) within
two hours.
►► Do not mix different types of batteries.
►► Always insert the batteries the right way round
(observe correct polarity) otherwise there is a
danger that they could explode.
►► If you do not intend to use the device for a long
time, remove the batteries.

NOTE
►► Check the consignment for completeness and for
signs of visible damage.
►► If the consignment is incomplete or damaged due
to defective packaging or carriage, contact the
Service hotline (see the chapter Service).
Remove all parts of the device from the packaging and
remove all packaging materials.
Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the device from damage during
shipment. The packaging materials have been selected
for their environmental friendliness and ease of disposal
and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the materials
cycle conserves raw materials and reduces
the amount of waste that is generated.
Dispose of packaging materials which are no longer
needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Inserting/replacing the batteries
♦♦ Open the battery compartment 8 on the underside
of the wireless mouse.
♦♦ Insert 2 x 1.5 V AA batteries into the battery compartment 8 (observe correct polarity). First place
one battery in the lower compartment and then the
second battery in the higher compartment. Ensure
that the plastic strip is positioned under the batteries,
this will make future battery exchanges easier.
♦♦ Close the battery compartment 8.
CAUTION
►► Always use batteries from the same manufacturer
and of the same type. Always replace both batteries
at the same time.
Connecting the nano-USB receiver
♦♦ Remove any other mouse that is connected to your
computer and then restart the computer.
♦♦ Remove the nano-USB receiver 0 from the storage
compartment 9 on the bottom of the wireless
mouse.
♦♦ Connect the nano-USB receiver 0 to a free USB-port
on your computer while it is running.

The operating system recognises the new hardware
and automatically installs the necessary drivers. After
the installation of the driver, the wireless mouse is ready
for operation and can be used.
Power-saving mode
The wireless mouse is equipped with a power-saving mode.
■■ If you switch the computer off, the wireless mouse
automatically switches off after around 8 minutes
in order to save power.
■■ If you disconnect the nano-USB receiver 0 from the
computer, the wireless mouse automatically switches
off after around 8 minutes in order to save power.
■■ If you do not click, scroll or move the wireless mouse,
it turns off after about 8 minutes. As soon as you
press any button on the wireless mouse or use the
scroll wheel, the wireless mouse switches back on.
Changing operating modes
You can use the DPI button 4 to switch the optical sampling between the resolutions 1000 dpi, 1500 dpi and
2000 dpi. The higher the resolution, the more accurate
the wireless mouse’s sampling.

Installing the software
To be able to use the full functionality of the mouse, you
must install the supplied software.
NOTE
►► The following illustrations and descriptions relate
to the operating system Microsoft® Windows® 7.
The screen display may differ for other operating
systems.
♦♦ Insert the supplied software CD q in the CD-ROM
drive of your computer.
The installation process should start automatically.
♦♦ If this is not the case, start the “setup.exe” file on the
CD-ROM manually by double-clicking it.
The installation starts and the installation wizard is
displayed.

The start window of the installation wizard will be displayed.
♦♦ Click on the “Next >” button.
♦♦ In the next step, you can choose the destination
folder for the installation by using the “Browse”
button or selecting the suggested destination.
♦♦ Move on to the next step by clicking on the
“Next >” button.

♦♦ To finish the installation, click the “Finish” button.
The computer will be restarted.
Configuration of the mouse buttons
You can use the software to customise the mouse
functions according to your personal preferences.
♦♦ Double-click on this icon in the system tray
(bottom left of your screen, next to the clock) or click
on the icon with the right mouse button and select
“Mouse properties” from the context menu.

The configuration menu for the mouse appears.
♦♦ Select the tab “Configuration of mouse button”.
Here you can set a function for each of the five
mouse buttons.
♦♦ Click on the drop-down menu for the corresponding
mouse button and select a function from the menu.
♦♦ To apply the changes, click on the “Apply” button
(the window remains open) or on “OK” (the window
closes).

♦♦ Select “Restore to default” to return the buttons to
their original functions.
The other tabs in this configuration menu contain settings
for the respective operating system.
Troubleshooting
If the wireless mouse is not recognised after installation
or does not respond to input, check the following:
♦♦ Check to ensure that the batteries have been inserted
the right way round.
♦♦ Check that the nano-USB receiver 0 is properly
connected to the computer.
♦♦ Try using a different USB port on your computer.
♦♦ Check the capacity of the batteries and if necessary
replace them.
♦♦ Note: you should use a mouse pad or similar if you
are using the wireless mouse on a glass surface or
any other reflective surface.

►► If the above-mentioned solutions do not resolve

Cleaning
CAUTION
►► Moisture penetrating the device can cause a shortcircuit and damage the equipment. To avoid irrepar­
able damage, ensure that no moisture penetrates
the device during cleaning.
■■ Clean the housing only with a soft damp cloth and
a mild detergent.
Storage when not in use
If you are not going to the use the device for a long period of time, remove the nano-USB receiver 0 from your
computer and store it in the storage compartment 9 on
the underside of the wireless mouse.
Remove the batteries from the device and store it in
a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight.

Disposal
Disposal of the device
The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out wheelie
bin means that this device is subject to Directive
2012/19/EU. This directive states that this
device may not be disposed of in normal household
waste at the end of its usable life, but must be handed
over to specially set-up collection locations, recycling
depots or disposal companies.
This disposal is free of charge for the user. Protect
the environment and dispose of this device properly.
You can obtain further information from your local
disposal company or the city or local authority.
Disposal of batteries
Used batteries may not be disposed of in household
waste. All consumers are required by law to dispose of
batteries at a collection point provided by their local community or at a retail store. The purpose of this obligation is
to ensure that batteries are disposed of in a non-polluting
manner. Only dispose of batteries when they are fully discharged. Cover the poles of partially discharged batteries
with tape to prevent short circuits.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the
date of purchase. If this product has any faults, you, the
buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described
below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date
of purchase. Please keep your original receipt in a
safe place. This document will be required as proof
of purchase. If any material or production fault occurs
within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you
at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on
you presenting the defective appliance and the proof of
purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the
fault and its time of occurrence. If the defect is covered

by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product
does not signify the beginning of a new warranty
period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for
defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected
under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and
repaired components. Any damage and defects present
at the time of purchase must be reported immediately
after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the
warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance
with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously
prior to delivery. The warranty covers material faults
or production faults. The warranty does not extend to
product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile
parts such as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts
made of glass. The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or improperly
maintained. The directions in the operating instructions
for the product regarding proper use of the product are
to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned
against must be avoided. This product is intended solely

for private use and not for commercial purposes. The
warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or
improper handling, use of force and modifications/
repairs which have not been carried out by one of our

(e.g. IAN 12345) available as proof of purchase.
●● You will find the item number on the type plate,
an engraving on the front page of the instructions
(bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of

or by e-mail.
●● You can return a defective product to us free of
charge to the service address that will be provided
to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase
