Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die IR-Körperfettwaage Christina dient zur Ermittlung und Anzeige des Körpergewichts und des Körperfett/Körperwasseranteils einer Person. Das Gerät ist für den Einsatz im Heimbereich konzipiert. Das Display mit den
Bedienelementen ist abnehmbar und kann an der Wand montiert werden. Die Datenübertragung erfolgt kabellos per IR-Signal.
Die Waage ist nicht für medizinische oder therapeutische Zwecke geeignet. Dieses Gerät entspricht nicht den
Anforderungen der Medizinproduktrichtlinie 93/42/EWG.
• Die Anzeige "kg" oder "lb" blinkt. Wählen Sie mit den Tasten die gewünschte Gewichtseinheit Kilogramm (kg) oder
Pfund (lb). Die Wahl der Gewichtseinheit, z.B. kg, gilt nun für alle Speicherplätze. Bestätigen Sie die Eingabe mit der Taste
.
• Die Geschlechtsanzeige beginnt zu blinken. Wählen Sie mit der Taste oder Ihr Geschlecht aus. Bestätigen Sie die
Eingabe mit der Taste

• Die Altersanzeige beginnt zu blinken. Mit den Tasten kann nun das richtige Alter eingestellt werden. Drücken und
halten Sie eine der Tasten, wenn der Schnelllauf gestartet werden soll. Drücken Sie danach die Taste
um den Wert zu
speichern.
• Die Anzeige für die Körpergröße ( cm oder ft in ) beginnt zu blinken. Mit der Taste oder kann nun die richtige
Körpergröße eingestellt werden. Drücken und halten Sie eine der Tasten, wenn der Schnelllauf gestartet werden soll.
Drücken Sie danach die Taste
um den Wert zu speichern.
• Der zuvor eingestellte Speicherplatz blinkt im Display. Wählen Sie einen andern Speicherplatz aus, um weitere
Personendaten einzugeben oder beenden Sie die Eingabe indem Sie die Taste
drücken.

Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben, führt zur Beschädigung dieses Produktes, darüber hinaus ist dies mit
Gefahren verbunden. Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut und das Gehäuse nicht geöffnet werden!

Betrieb.
Sollte bei der Eingabe der persönlichen Daten für ca. 20 Sekunden keine Taste betätigt werden, so schaltet sich
das Display automatisch aus.
Wird die Gewichtseinheit Kilogramm (kg) gewählt, so wird die Körpergröße automatisch auf cm festgelegt.
Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung verursacht werden, erlischt der
Garantieanspruch! Für Folgeschäden übernehmen wir keine Haftung! Bei Sach- oder Personenschäden,
die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise verursacht werden,
übernehmen wir keine Haftung! In solchen Fällen erlischt jeder Garantieanspruch.
• Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen und/oder Verändern des Gerätes nicht
gestattet.
• Das Gerät darf keiner direkten intensiven Sonneneinstrahlung, extremen Temperaturen, starken Vibrationen, hoher
Feuchtigkeit oder starken mechanischen Beanspruchungen ausgesetzt werden.
• Die Waage ist nicht für den gewerblichen oder professionellen Einsatz, z.B. in Fitness-Studios, Krankenhäusern, Arztpraxen
usw. geeignet.
Benutzen Sie dieses Produkt nicht, wenn Sie einen Herzschrittmacher oder ein anderes medizinisches
Implantat in sich oder an sich tragen.
Die Waage ist nicht für medizinische oder therapeutische Zwecke geeignet.
Erstellen Sie anhand der Messergebnisse keine Diät- oder Trainingsprogramme. Beraten Sie sich darüber immer mit Ihrem Arzt oder einer anderen qualifizierten Person.
Das Messergebnis für Körperfett und Körperwasser unterliegt vielen Einflüssen. Folgende Hinweise
sollten beachtet werden, um ein möglichst genaues Messergebnis zu erzielen.
- Jedes getragene Kleidungsstück verfälscht Ihr Messergebnis hinsichtlich Gewicht- und Körperfettmessung.
- Tragen Sie bei der Messung keine Strümpfe. Steigen Sie barfuß auf die Waage. Die Fußsohlen sollten sauber, aber nicht
nass sein. Ist keine korrekte Fett- bzw. Wassermessung möglich erscheint im Display die Anzeige "Err".
- Wenn Sie auf der Wiegeplattform stehen, dürfen sich die Füße und die Schenkel dabei nicht gegenseitig berühren.
- Das Messergebnis wird nach intensiver körperlicher Betätigung, bei Krankheit, durch starken Wasserverlust (z.B. nach
starkem Alkoholkonsum), nach dem Essen oder Trinken (warten Sie hier ca. 2 Std.), nach einem Bad, bei Frauen während der Menstruation oder Schwangerschaft, kurz nach dem Aufstehen, stark beeinflusst.
- Die Messung sollte, wenn möglich immer zur selben Tageszeit und unter den selben Bedingungen durchgeführt werden.
• Verwenden Sie als Diabetiker die Waage nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt.
• Stellen Sie sich nicht zu weit an die Kanten der Personenwaage, springen Sie nicht auf oder von der Waage, diese könnte
dadurch kippen, es besteht Verletzungsgefahr.
• Betreten Sie die Personenwaage nicht mit nassen oder feuchten Füßen. Betreten Sie die Personenwaage nicht, wenn Sie nass
sind. Es besteht die Gefahr, dass Sie ausrutschen und sich verletzen. Trocknen Sie sich vor der Benutzung der Waage ab.
• Der Hersteller bzw. Lieferant übernimmt keinerlei Verantwortung für inkorrekte Darstellungen, Messungen oder die
Konsequenzen, die aus einer inkorrekten Darstellung oder Messung entstehen.
• Die Waage darf nicht überlastet werden. Personen, die mehr als 160kg oder 352lb wiegen, dürfen die Waage nicht betreten. Es erscheint im Display die Anzeige "0-Ld".
• Die Waage ist nur für die Ermittlung des Gewichts und des Körperfetts von Personen geeignet. Die Waage ist nicht für andere Gewichts- und Körperfettmessungen, z.B. von Tieren geeignet.
• Tippen Sie kurz und fest mit der Fußspitze auf die Wiegeplattform (Fuß danach wieder von der Waage nehmen). Die LED
auf der Waage leuchtet rot und schaltet nach ca. 2 Sekunden auf grün.
• Drücken Sie die Taste
. Warten Sie bis die Anzeige "HELO/0.0kg erscheint.
• Wählen Sie mit den Tasten Ihren Speicherplatz aus. Drücken Sie die Taste
eingestellten Daten angezeigt.
• Die Waage ist kein Spielzeug, sie gehört nicht in Kinderhände.
• Lassen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen, Kunststofffolien bzw. –tüten, Styroporteile, etc. könnten für
Kinder zu einem gefährlichen Spielzeug werden.
• Sollten Sie sich über die korrekte Verwendung nicht im Klaren sein oder sollten sich Fragen ergeben, die nicht im Laufe der
Bedienungsanleitung abgeklärt werden, so setzen Sie sich bitte mit unserer technischen Auskunft oder einem anderen
Fachmann in Verbindung. Wenden Sie sich an eine Fachkraft, wenn Sie Zweifel über die Arbeitsweise oder die Sicherheit
des Produktes haben.
Ein Batteriewechsel ist notwendig, wenn im Display das Batteriesymbol leuchtet, die Anzeige im Display schlecht ablesbar
oder die Waage keine Funktion aufweist. Es werden zwei Batteriesymbole wiedergegeben. Bei der Anzeige "SCALE" müssen
die Batterien in der Waage gewechselt werden. Bei der Anzeige "REMOTE" die des abnehmbaren Bedienteils. Das Gerät darf
nur mit Micro-Batterien 1,5V (AAA) betrieben werden. Entfernen Sie die Batterien bei längerem Nichtbenutzen aus den beiden
Batteriefächern.
Batterien gehören nicht in Kinderhände.
Achten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterien auf die richtige Polung. Lassen Sie Batterien nicht offen herumliegen, es besteht die Gefahr, dass diese von Kindern oder Haustieren verschluckt werden. Suchen Sie
im Falle eines Verschluckens sofort einen Arzt auf. Ausgelaufene oder beschädigte Batterien können bei
Berührung mit der Haut Verätzungen verursachen, benutzen Sie deshalb in diesem Fall geeignete
Schutzhandschuhe. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Batterien nicht kurzgeschlossen oder ins Feuer geworfen werden. Sie dürfen außerdem nicht aufgeladen werden, es besteht Explosionsgefahr.

Weight measuring, body fat and body water analysis
Intended Use
The body fat scales Christina are used for determining and displaying the body weight and the body fat / body water share of
a person. The device was conceived for use in the home. The display with operating units is removable and can be mounted
on a wall. Data transfer occurs wirelessly via IR signal.
Do not use this product if you wear a pacemaker or another medical implant in or on yourself.
The scales are not suitable for medical or therapeutic purposes.
Do not set up any diet or training programs on the basis of the measuring results. Always consult a physician or another qualified person for this purpose.
The measuring result for body fat and body water is subjected to many influences. You should observe
the following notices in order to obtain an accurate measuring result.
- Do not wear any socks for measuring. Step on the scales with bare feet. The soles of your feet should be clean but not
wet. If no correct fat or water measuring is possible "Err" appears in the display.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
- If you are on the weighing platform, feet and thighs may not touch each other.

- The measuring result is influenced greats after intensive physical activity, during illness, through heavy loss of water (e.g.
after heavy consumption of alcohol) after eating and drinking (wait for approx. 2 hours here), after a bath, in the case of
women during menstruation or pregnancy, shortly after rising.

Da die von der Waage ermittelten prozentualen Fett- und Wasserwerte vielen Faktoren und Einflüssen unterliegen, sind die
angezeigten Werte nur als Anhaltspunkte und nicht als Absolutwerte zu betrachten. Anhand der körperlichen Konstitution
einer Person kann man nicht notwendigerweise darauf rückschließen, ob auch die Fett- und Wasseranteile im geeigneten
Bereich liegen. Noch müssen Personen des gleichen Alters, Geschlechts und Körperbaus die gleichen Fett- und Wasserwerte
haben. Bitte besprechen Sie sich mit einem Arzt, um den für Sie am besten geeigneten Wert zu ermitteln und zu erreichen.
Die Waage hilft Ihnen dabei über einen längeren Zeitraum mit den ermittelten Werten die Tendenz der Veränderung zu verfolgen.

Das abnehmbare Display kann für den Betrieb in der dafür vorgesehenen Ablage der Waage bleiben oder an die Wand montiert werden. Es befindet sich hierfür auf der Rückseite des Bedienteils
Befestigungsaussparungen. Um einen optimalen Empfang des IR-Signals zu gewährleisten, sollte
die Waage ca. 30cm von der Wand entfernt aufgestellt werden, an der das Bedienteil befestigt ist.
Das Bedienteil selbst, sollte in einer Höhe von ca. 160cm montiert werden. Achten Sie darauf, dass
bei der Gewichtsmessung die IR-Sendediode der Waage durch Ihre Füße nicht abgedeckt ist, bzw.
sich keine Gegenstände im Übertragungsweg befinden, da ansonsten die Funktion nicht gegeben
ist.

Insert the batteries (Micro, AAA) with the correct polarity into the scales and the operating unit. The correct polarity is imprinted in the battery compartment. Close the battery compartments again.
The values in the table have no informative value for the following persons:
It is necessary to replace the batteries when you a battery symbol in the display, the display is difficult to read and the scales
do not operate. Two battery symbols are reproduced. The batteries of the scales have to be replaced when "SCALE" is displayed. When "REMOTE" is displayed, replace the operating unit's batteries. The device must be powered only by micro-batteries (AAA ). Remove the batteries from both battery compartments if you are not going to use it for a long time.

• Sie können nun die Waage verlassen. Die Waage schaltet sich nach ca. 60 Sekunden automatisch aus.
Wartung, Pflege & Entsorgung
Um eine Körperfettanalyse durchzuführen, müssen zuerst Ihre persönlichen Daten abgespeichert werden. Bei dieser Waage
können Daten von bis zu 10 Personen abgespeichert werden.

Das Gerät ist abgesehen von einem Batteriewechsel wartungsfrei. Äußerlich sollte die Körperfettanalysewaage nur mit einem
weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch gereinigt werden. Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder chemische
Lösungen, da dadurch das Gerät angegriffen oder die Funktion beeinträchtigt werden könnte.
Entsorgung von gebrauchten Batterien!
Sie als Endverbraucher sind gesetzlich (Batterieverordnung) zur Rückgabe aller gebrauchten Batterien und Akkus verpflichtet; eine Entsorgung über den Hausmüll ist untersagt!
Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries. Do not leave the batteries lying

Setting up the scales
Place the body fat scales horizontally on to a level, hard surface (e.g. tile floor). Placing the scales on a soft floor,
e.g. carpet, or in an incorrect position may falsify the measuring result. Set up the scales in such a way that
they stand safely.
Do not place the scales on slippery, damp or wet floors. The scales may slide away when you step on or off them.

As the fat and water values in percent determined by the scales are subject to many factors and influences, the displayed values
have informative value only and may not be taken as absolute values. One cannot necessarily conclude whether the fat and water
shares are in a suitable range from the bodily constitution of a person. Persons of the same age, gender and physique do not have
to have the same fat/water values. Please consult with your physician in order to determine and attain the best fat value for you.
On the basis of the values determined, the scales help you to monitor the tendency of change over a longer period of time.
Before starting operation for the first time, primarily insert the batteries in the scales and the removable operating unit.

Batteriefächer. Legen Sie die Batterien (Micro, AAA) polungsrichtig in die Waage und in das Bedienteil ein. Die korrekte Polung
ist als Markierung in den Batteriefächern zu ersehen. Schließen Sie die Batteriefächer wieder.
Sie erfüllen damit die gesetzlichen Verpflichtungen und leisten Ihren Beitrag zum Umweltschutz!
The removable display can remain during operation in it's designed scale storage or mounted to a
wall. There are mounting recesses for this at the operating unit's rear. To ensure optimum IR signal reception, the scales should be placed approx. 30cm from the wall to which the operating unit
is attached. The operating unit itself should be mounted at a height of approx. 160 cm. While measuring the weight make sure that the scale's IR transmitter diode is not covered by your feet or that
any other objects are in the transmitter's way, otherwise it won't work properly.
• Warten Sie, bis im Display die Anzeige "0.0kg" erscheint. Betreten Sie die Waage, bleiben Sie ruhig stehen, bis die

Schadstoffhaltige Batterien/Akkus sind mit nebenstehenden Symbolen gekennzeichnet, die auf das Verbot der
Entsorgung über den Hausmüll hinweisen. Die Bezeichnungen für das ausschlaggebende Schwermetall sind:
Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Quecksilber, Pb = Blei. Ihre verbrauchten Batterien/Akkus können Sie unentgeltlich bei den
Sammelstellen Ihrer Gemeinde, unseren Filialen oder überall dort abgeben, wo Batterien/Akkus verkauft werden!
. Im Display werden die von Ihnen
• Das Ergebnis für die Körperfett-/Körperwassermessung wird abwechselnd im Display angezeigt (Fat = Körperfett / Water
= Körperwasser). Sie können nun die Waage verlassen. Die Waage schaltet sich automatisch nach ca. 60 Sekunden aus.
Die Werte können nun mit der Körperfetttabelle verglichen werden.
• Die Waage ist nur für den Betrieb in geschlossenen Räumen zugelassen.

Measuring the weight
• Tap shortly and firmly with the tip of your foot on the weighing platform (after that, take foot off scales). The LED on the
scales flashes red and switches after approx. 2 seconds over to green.
• Press the
button. Wait until "HELO/0.0kg" is displayed.
• Press the
button to select the desired unit of weight ( kg / lb ). The selection of the unit of weight, e.g. kg, always applies
for all storage places.
• Step on to the scales and stand still until weight measuring is complete.
• The measuring is over as soon as your weight does not change in the display and "H" is shown.
• You can now step off the scales. The scales turn off automatically after approx. 60 seconds.
Servicing, maintenance and disposal

This device is free of servicing with the exception of replacing the battery. Only clean the outside of the body fat analysis scales only with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the device or impair its function.

You, as the ultimate consumer, are legally obliged(Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries and accumulators;disposal in the household waste is prohibited!

Maintenance, nettoyage et élimination des éléments usés

solutions chimiques ; ces produits attaquent l'appareil et peuvent nuire à son bon fonctionnement.
Réglage des données personnelles
Avant de procéder à une analyse des matières grasses, vous devez d'abord enregistrer vos données personnelles dans l'appareil. Vous pouvez enregistrez les données dans cette balance pour un maximum de 10 personnes.

fixé au mur. L'échange d'information entre la base et l'écran se fait par signal infra-rouge.
La balance n´est pas conçu à des fins médicales ou thérapeutiques. L'appareil ne satisfait pas aux exigences des
matériaux médicaux de la gamme 93/42/EWG.

/ Water = Eau). Vous pouvez à présent descendre de la balance. La balance s'éteint automatiquement après 60 secondes.
Les valeurs peuvent maintenant être comparées avec le tableau de référence en matières grasses du corps.
Le remplacement des piles devient indispensable quand le symbole de pile s'affiche à l'écran, l'écran n'est pas correctement
lisible ou la balance ne fonctionne plus. Deux symbole de pile s'afficheront. Les piles de la balance seront remplacés pour
l'affichage "SCALE". Ce seront plutôt celle de l'unité amovible en cas d'affichage de "REMOTE". L'appareil doit être utilisé
uniquement avec 3 piles (micro-piles de 1,5V, type AAA). Retirez les piles des compartiments pour piles lorsque l'appareil doit
rester longtemps inutilisée.

• La balance n´est pas un jouet, il ne doit pas être laissé entre les mains des enfants.
Les compartiments de piles se trouvent sur la face inférieure de la balance et à l'arrière de l'unité de commande. Ouvrir les
deux compartiments de pile. Inserrer les piles (micro-piles de 1,5V, type AAA) dans la balance et l'unité de commande en
respectant les polarités. La polarité correcte est imprimée dans le compartiment pour piles. Veuillez remettre en place les couvercles des compartiments de piles.

- Les résultats de mesure seront très influencés pour un individu en convalescence ou après une forte sudation (p.ex. dû à
la consommation d'alcool), après un repas ou la prise d'une boisson (attendre au moins 2 heures), après un bain, pour
les femmes enceintes ou en cours de menstruation et peu après le lever du sommeil.
• La balance change maintenant automatiquement au mode de mesure de matières grasses et d'eau du corps. Pendant cette mesure, les segments „CCCC“ de l'affichage clignotent.
Avant la mise en service, des piles doivent être insérés dans la balance et dans l'unité de commande amovible.

- Ne portez pas de bas pendant la mesure. Montez pieds nus sur la balance. La plante des pieds doit être propre, mais non
humide. L'affichage "Err" apparaît quand la mesure correcte des matières grasses et de l'eau du corps n'est pas possible.
• Attendez jusqu'à ce que "0.0kg" s'affiche à l'écran. Montez sur la balance et restez immobile jusqu'à la fin de la procédure de mesure de poids. Cette procédure est achevée lorsque votre poids apparaît stable à l'écran et qu'un "H" est affiché.
• En cas de doute quant à l'utilisation correcte de l’appareil ou si vous avez des questions pour lesquelles vous ne trouvez
aucune réponse dans le présent mode d’emploi, contactez notre service technique ou un spécialiste. S´adresser également
à un technicien en cas de doute sur le mode opératoire ou sur la sécurité de l’appareil.
Piles :
- Chaque vêtement sur vous fausse le résultat de votre mesure de poids ainsi que celle des matières grasses.
• Ne pas monter sur la balance avec les pieds mouillés ou humides. Ne montez simplement pas sur la balance quand vous êtes
mouillé. Il y aurait un risque de patinage et de blessures. Prière vous sécher avant d'utiliser la balance.
• Ne pas laisser le matériel d’emballage traîner. Les films et les sachets plastiques, le polystyrène, etc. peuvent devenir de
dangereux jouets pour les enfants.

N'utilisez pas cet appareil si vous portez un simulateur cardiaque ou tout autre implant médical en vous
ou sur vous.

• Choisir avec la touche votre position mémoire. Appuyez sur la touche
vous aviez entré lors du réglage.
• La balance sert seulement à l'estimation du poids et du taux de matière grasse du corps. La balance ne correspond pas à
l'estimation du poids et du gras d'autres vivants tels que les animaux.
Les piles et accumulateurs qui contiennent des substances toxiques sont caractérisés par les symboles ci-contre qui indiquent l´interdiction de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères. Les désignations pour le métal lourd décisif sont : Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercure, Pb = plomb. Vous pouvez rapporter gratuitement vos piles et accumulateurs usagés aux centres de récupération de votre commune, à nos succursales ou à tous les points de vente
de piles et d'accumulateurs.
Si pendant la procédure, aucune touche n'est appuyée pendant env. 20 secondes, l'écran s'éteint automatiquement.
Pour un choix kilogramme (kg) pour le poids, la taille sera automatiquement réglé sur centimètre (cm).
