Rose Turpin, director, actress
Rose Turpin was born in France in 1991. Rose is studying French literature in the university of
Paris-Sorbonne. She likes travelling : six months in San Francisco USA, a job in the
newspaper The Indian Express in Mumbai and trips in Korea and Taiwan. In 2012, she will be
in Rome continuing her studies. Rose has a passion for literature, one of her poem has been
published in the anthology Poésie en liberté 2009. Musician and songwriter, she has
composed many songs. She has also worked as an actress in French TV dramas and in
Bollywood in Mumbai
Helmut is her third short movie.
Béatrice Masson, writer, actress
She has appeared in theater, feature film and television drama. We saw her in the very
famous french TV Drama : Au Bon Beurre, she was the daughter of Parisian dairyman during
the second world war. She has a long background as an actress in the dubbing business and
commercials, she has turned to write naturally. In 2007, she received le Prix Philippe Delerm
for a short story.
Eric Turpin, director, cinematographer
Eric Turpin is a cinematographer and director, mainly involved in the documentary f ilm
business. He has shot, as a cinematographer, documentaries produced in most of the
countries which matter in documentary f ilm production : France, UK, Switzerland, Germany
and USA. He has worked with some of the most famous french documentary directors of the
last years : Thomas Balmès, Wolfram Hissen, Jacques Malaterre and with Jean Xavier
Delestrade who won an Academy award for Best Documentary Feature with « Murder on a
Sunday Morning » 2001. He works also as director of photography on TV shows and dramas.
