Das Team Roth erhält Einladung für die Tour der Romandie
Die Organisatoren der Tour der Romandie haben dem jungen Schweizer Team Roth zur
Teilnahme an der diesjährigen Rundfahrt (26. April bis 1. Mai) eine der zwei Wildcards
zugesprochen. "Es ist eine grosse Freude und ein grosses Ereignis für unser Team",
sagt Stefan Blaser, CEO der Roth Gruppe, zur Einladung seines Teams. „Gleich im
ersten Jahr als Professional Continental Team an dieser wichtigen Rundfahrt
teilzunehmen, ist eine grosse Ehre. Unser Hauptaugenmerk ist ganz klar auf die
langfristige Förderung der jungen Schweizer Radsporttalente gerichtet.“ so Blaser. Die
Teilnahme an der Tour de Romandie und die Chance sich zum ersten Mal mit den 18
Teams der World Tour zu messen, ist besonders auch für die beiden jungen
Unterwalliser Dylan Page und Valentin Baillifard ein spannendes Heimspiel. Dylan Page
konnte sein Talent bereits unter Beweis stellen und hat unter anderem bei der Trofeo
Palma einen hervorragenden dritten Platz hinter Andre Greipel und Nacer Bouhanni
erzielt. Auch der ehemalige Schweizer Meister Martin Kohler freut sich über die
Teilnahme sehr, wenngleich er es auch als grosse Herausforderung für das junge
Schweizer Team sieht.

Pour la participation au Tour de Romandie, les organisateurs de cette course à étapes
(du 26 avril au 1er mai) ont délivré l'un des deux wildcards à la jeune équipe Suisse
Team Roth. "C'est une grande joie et un grand évènement pour notre équipe",
s'exprime Stefan Blaser, CEO de Roth Gruppe, concernant l'invitation de son équipe.
"Prendre part dès la première année en tant qu'équipe Pro Continentale à l'une des
plus importantes courses à étapes est un grand honneur. Nous portons clairement
notre attention sur la formation à long terme des jeunes talents cyclistes Suisses",
explique Blaser. La participation au Tour de Romandie et la chance de se mesurer pour
la première fois aux 18 équipes World Tour représente tout particulièrement pour les
deux valaisans Dylan Page et Valentin Baillifard un intéressant match à domicile. En
effet, Dylan Page a déjà prouvé son talent notamment lors du Trofeo Palma en se
classant à une magnifique 3e place derrière Andre Greipel et Nacer Bouhanni. L'ancien
champion de Suisse Martin Kohler se réjouit également beaucoup de cette
participation tout en considérant cela comme un gros challenge pour la jeune équipe
suisse.
Swiss Team Roth gets invitation for the Tour de Romandie
The organizers of the Tour de Romandie invite the young Swiss Team Roth with one of
the two wildcards to participate in the 2016 edition (April 26th - May 1st) of their
important stage race. "It is a great pleasure and a big highlight for our team",
explained Stefan Blaser, CEO of Roth Gruppe, referring to the invitation of his team.
"To take part already in our first year as a Pro Continental team in one of the biggest
stage races is a big honor. We're clearly focused on the long term development of
young and talented Swiss cyclists." Blaser said. The participation in the Tour de
Romandie and the chance to race with the 18 World Tour teams for the first time is an
thrilling home game especially for the inhabitants of Valais, Dylan Page and Valentin
Baillifard. Indeed, Dylan Page already proved his talents during the Trofeo Palma
where he finished 3rd behind Andre Greipel and Nacer Bouhanni. Also the former
Swiss champion Martin Kohler is happy about the invitation, considering this as a big
challenge for the young Swiss team.
