Research interests
The main interest of my research activities consists in the development of specific numerical
methods for the resolution of electrical engineering problems, in particular when materials
exhibiting complex and coupled behaviour are involved. My research interests spread over:
– Unstructured mesh-based numerical methods: Finite Elements, Finite Integration Technique,
Generalized Finite Differences, Finite Volumes and Galerkin Discontinuous Method. Frequency
and time-domain analysis.
– Multiphysics : magneto-mechanical coupling.
– Complex material behaviour : composite and active materials; non-linear, hysteretic behaviours;
dispersive materials.
– Inverse problems : localization by time-reversal technique.
– Wireless technologies and electromagnetic compatibility: wireless inductive charging, human
exposure to electromagnetic fields (large frequency range).
