Redevelopment of the Grosvenor Hotel, London. A proposal for Leicester Markets. A tall (52 storey) mixed-use development in Manchester, and one in Liverpool. A new terminal for Thessaloniki Airport in Greece. A residential tower development for West Cromwell Road in Chelsea for Multiplex. A marina development in Brittany and one in Paphos, Cyprus. My role included front end concept design, masterplanning, CAD production of GAs, 3d sketch models, 3d photorealistic CAD renders, spaceplanning, animations, promotional films, marketing statements and high end presentations for the GLA, English Heritage and CABE to win planning for larger projects. Am also partly responsible for IT troubleshooting. Commissioned to create a set of visualisations for an installation project, “The Garden Of Instruments”, which were used to make lightboxes, lenticular prints, and a 100 minute film for the Alan Cristea Gallery. I also designed the website for the project, see below for link. The project was showcased in the London Art Fair 2006, featured in the Architectural Review in Feb 2005 and ran as a constituent part of one of the Royal Academy of Arts’ yearly architectural forums. Alan Cristea Gallery 31 Cork Street, London www.alancristea.com Commissioned to devise 3d animations of virtual exhibitions for the largest dealer and publisher of limited edition prints in Europe, and to create, project manage and deliver a 30” window display showcasing the animations and their stock. Projects included: a major refurbishment of Lakeside Thurrock Shopping Centre and an extension to the County Square shopping centre in Ashford, at masterplanning, detail design and tender stages. My main role was in the production of information but I was also responsible for presentation drawings, model making and I assisted with fire planning. My job was to teach 13 and 14 year olds English and Ethics for a term in a Kenyan school. I was in charge of the class for a term, organised and marked their exams, and took part in organising and participating in extra curricular activities. I had also been commissioned by the Footprint series of guidebooks to collect first-hand research material for their new book on East Africa, so after the term had finished, I travelled around Kenya and Uganda collecting information. I have travelled extensively throughout SE Asia and Japan in the past couple of years, through East Africa during my Gap Year and have conducted an urban study of Copenhagen as part of my university course. For each of these photography was a major element. I have also visited Australia, Russia, North America, Jordan, Guatemala, Brazil, South Africa and Europe.
