Intermediate 2
This course is intended for people who have a good knowledge of the French language and builds on
the notions seen in the Intermediate 1 course. Students will learn to use conditional and subjunctive
verb tenses, object pronouns, adverbs and prepositions while increasing their vocabulary. The course
will improve student’s proficiency in understanding and speaking French through a combination of
written and oral exercises, audiovisual material, games, etc.

Using indirect and direct object pronouns

Identifying the active and passive voices

Talking about everyday situations

Conjugating verbs in the conditionnel présent

Using conditional sentences when the “if” clause is in the imparfait

Conjugating the verbs devoir, vouloir, pouvoir in the conditionnel présent

Using il, ce, c’est, cela or ça
