Artist Biography : Adolphe Robert Jones was a Belgian painter of landscapes and animals, especially horses and dogs. He was a student of the renowned Belgian animal painter Eugène Verboeckhoven. He worked alot together with M. Kuyttenbrouwer. He exhibited his oeuvre at the Salons from 1837 onwards.
