General information & Cancellation conditions
General information
The price of the courses include:
The flying equipment (glider, harness with back protection, radio, helmet, rescue parachute), for the courses cycle 1 to 2.
You are responsible of your equipment during your course. If you damage or if you lose it, you will have to replace it. The quality of the material you will have is good, we will ask you to
take care of it.
The teaching of one or two instructors (professional state diploma BEES 1st degree or student instructor second module).
The drive and the retrieval in minibus 9 places,
Pedagogic documents:the ffvl’s passport, the memento theoritical, the brochure of the Mont Blanc area flying sites.
The price of the courses do not include:
The lifts pass (prices information’s on www.compagniedumontblanc.fr or tel 04 50 53 22 75). Special prices for paragliders in summer if you provide your flying licence and an
identity picture.
The Insurance aerial civil responsibility which is obligatory.You must provide a medical Certificate for its delivery. Different Options are possible and not obligatory like
individual accident. %If you already have a RCA you must provide us a copy and you will have only to take the FFVL membership.
The flying equipment is not included for the courses : “à la carte” formula, cross country fly, SIV, itinerant and south itinerant, travelling, hiking & flying, high mountain fly
We can anyway provide some equipment if you don’t have any, please contact us.
Some courses could be open with constituted group of minimum 5 persons. Please, contact us.
Personal Equipment to have : hiking shoes, warm sport clothes, sun glasses, gloves.

Payment: by cash money, cheque, credit card (VAD possible), bank transfers
You must send us obligatory before the beginning of the course:
Your registration form well filled and signed with authorisation of the parents for the minor of minimum 12 year’s old.
A cheque of deposit of 190 € to the school « Les Ailes du Mont Blanc » which confirm your registration.
A medical certificate of aptitude to practice paraglide (valid three years for the 18/40 years old, one year for the people older than 40 and the competitor, three month for the
teenager)
A cheque provided for FFVL (membership & insurance minimum without options 33,50 € or 24 € if you have already a valid aerial RC insurance.
A copy of your insurance if you have already one.
The meeting of the student will be the first day of the course at our office, 24 av de la Plage in Chamonix (just before the landing field of Bois du Bouchet). The meeting
time is confirm to you when we confirm your registration when we have received the deposit. Generaly, meeting at 8 o’clock in the summer, 8.30 o’clock in the spring and autumn.

Cancelled Condition
In case of cancellation from our part due to meteo reason of half a day or a full day, you would pay only the half day you had done.
All half days began will be invoiced even if there is no fly due to the bad evolution of the conditions If the team take the decision to go to the flying site.
All day booked will be invoiced if you don’t come (except good medical reason’s)
Our structure keep the right to modify or to cancelled one’s course in case of not reaching the minimum of registration.
If the client cancelled his registration before the beginning of the course, we will issue a bill of cancellation costs.
Less than 30 days before the start of the course: 100% of the deposit.
The student engage all his responsibility concerning his physique and psychological aptitude to the practical of paragliding. You must be conscious of your engagement in a sport
considered as a risky sport. You will be alone under your glider.
Flying is a voluntary act of breaking with the everyday life. Your motivation and your implication will be the guaranty of your progression.
Quality Research
To give you information as best and as quick as possible our structure is equipped with a telephone, a mobile, an email and a secretary during the summer season.

Label FFVL « French school of free flying » N° 03940: this label is delivered by the French federation of free flying (FFVL). The school is declared as sportive establishment to the youth and
sport ministry N° ET 001273 which guaranty the quality of the teaching.
- The conformity of the flying sites (adapted to a good pedagogic progression), quick access (road or lift)
- The qualifications of the instructors all with the state diploma (BEES 1st degree option paragliding or student teacher 2nd module) and mountain guided for the high mountain fly to
guaranty security to access the take off. All teacher and guided are covered by insurance RC professional.
The quality of the equipment (homologate CEN, actual conception, adapted to the weight and to the level of the student. Harness with back protection, helmet in the norm EPI, recent
radio, rescue parachute).
The individual validation of your progression following the FFVL free flying passport (cycle 1 to 2, level white to brown, initial licence till confirm pilot licence)

- Debriefing room equipped with pedagogic supports: board, maps, pictures, bibliography, TV video…
