Considérant l'intérêt manifesté par les deux établissements et la volonté mutuelle des institutions
signataires de s'associer formellement et de donner ainsi un caractère officiel à leur coopération,
L'International School of Management (ISM), représentée par son Président, Prof. Dr. Ingo
Bëckenholt
et
L'Université du Québec à Montréal, représentée par son Recteur, Robert Proulx, Ph.D.,
Conviennent de ce qui suit:
Article 1 - Objectifs
La présente entente vise à donner un cadre formel à la coopération, à faciliter et à intensifier les
échanges déjà amorcés entre les partenaires, tout particulièrement dans les domaines d'études
des programmes de l'International School of Management (ISM) et des programmes
correspondants de l'École des sciences de la gestion de l'Université du Québec à Montréal. Cette
entente est ouverte aux professeurs chercheurs de toutes disciplines qui verront un intérêt à
développer des projets de coopération.
Article 2 - Formes de la collaboration
De façon générale et selon les moyens financiers disponibles, la collaboration pourra prendre les
formes suivantes:
- projets de recherche conjoints;
échanges de professeurs et d'experts pour des missions d'enseignement;
échanges d'étudiants;
organisation de séminaires et colloques portant sur des sujets d'intérêt commun;
publications conjointes et échanges d'expériences portant sur les méthodes de travail et
l'organisation académique;
tout autre projet initié par l'une ou l'autre des parties.
Article 3 - Modalités d'élaboration
Les activités et les programmes concrets seront établis de concert et feront l'objet d'annexes ou
d'actes complémentaires à cette entente.
Article 4 - Modalités de réalisation
Les deux institutions s'efforceront de trouver les moyens qui permettront la réalisation des
échanges et assureront un soutien réciproque au développement d'une coopération fructueuse.
Article 5 - Responsabilités
Chaque établissement nommera une personne à qui sera confiée la responsabilité de veiller à
l'application de la présente entente. Cette personne s'occupera de la coordination des activités de
collaboration dont les parties auront convenu et devra faire un rapport annuel des activités aux
autorités compétentes de son institution. Sont désignés comme représentants des parties, la
Directrice de l'International Office pour l'International School of Management (ISM) et le Vicedoyen à l'international de l'École des sciences de la gestion pour l'Université du Québec à
Montréal.
Article 6 - Durée et portée de l'entente
Cette entente entrera en vigueur à la date de sa signature et aura une durée de cinq (5) ans. La
reconduction de l'entente sera possible, après évaluation par l'International Office pour
l'International School of Management (ISM) et par le Service des relations internationales pour
l'Université du Québec à Montréal. Cependant, cette entente pourra être résiliée en tout temps par
l'une ou l'autre des parties avec préavis de six (6) mois. Toutefois, les parties s'engagent à réaliser
les activités planifiées avant la résiliation de l'entente.

and the
UNIVERSITÉ DU QUÉBEC À MONTRÉAL
Montréal, Canada
Considering the interest manifested by both institutions and the mutual desire of both parties to
formally associate and to give an official character to their cooperation,
The International School of Management (ISM), represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Ingo
Bôckenholt
and
The Université du Québec à Montréal, represented by its Rector, Robert Proulx, Ph. O.,
Agree to the following:
Article 1 - Objective
This memorandum of agreement gives a formai character to the cooperation between the partners
and facilitates and intensifies their existing exchanges particularly in the fields of study of the
programs of the International School of Management (ISM) and the corresponding programs of the
École des sciences de la gestion of the Université du Québec à Montréal. This agreement is open
to professors/researchers in ali disciplines who express an interest in developing joint cooperation
projects.
Article 2 - Forms of collaboration
ln a general way and depending on the available financial means, collaborations may take the
following forms:
- joint research projects;
- exchanges of professors and experts for teaching missions;
- student exchanges;
- organization of seminars and colloquia in areas of common interest;
- joint publications and sharing ideas on working methods and academie organization;
- any other project initiated by either party.
Article 3 - Modes of development
The collaborative activities and programs will be established jointly and will be covered in annexes
to this document.
Article 4- Means of realization
Both institutions will work towards finding the means to facilitate exchange and will provide mutual
support for the development of a fruitful cooperation.
Article 5 - Responsibilities
Each establishment will name a person responsible for the application of the present agreement.
This person will coordinate the collaborative activities that have been agreed upon and will report,
on an annual basis, to the administrative bodies of his institution. The persons designated by the
parties are the Head of the International Office for the International School of Management (ISM)
and the Associate Dean of International Relations of the École des sciences de la gestion for the
Université du Québec à Montréal.
Article 6 - Du ration and extent of the agreement
This agreement will come into force on the date of its signature and will have a duration of five (5)
years. lt will be renewable after evaluation by the International Office for the International School of
Management (ISM) and by the Service des relations internationales for the Université du Québec à
Montréal. This agreement may be cancelled at any time by either party with a six-month notice.
However, both parties agree to complete the activities planned before the termination of the
agreement.
