Objectif
Renforcer les compétences langagières des enseignants stagiaires dans leurs actions quotidiennes
en classe
Descriptif
Plusieurs éléments de l’effet maitre contribuent à un enseignement de qualité. Cependant, la
compétence linguistique de l’enseignant est l’une des caractéristiques qui contribue le plus à un
enseignement de qualité. Le lien entre les habilités verbales des enseignants et le rendement des
élèves a été établi dans plusieurs études. Toutefois, il ne suffit pas pour apprendre une langue
d’emmagasiner des savoirs, une interaction de classe riche et globale est nécessaire pour varier les
contextes d’utilisation de la langue. Ainsi, les bénéfices sur l’apprentissage seront perceptibles.
Cette formation permettra aux enseignants de développer leurs compétences linguistiques
professionnelles dans le cadre du langage quotidien de la classe.

By the end of this workshop teachers will be able to use the internet and practice computer programs
that help learners understand the characteristics of different Math objects.
Description
This workshop aims at upgrading teachers’ skills in communication and in downloading projects and
Maths programs involving animation that help them represent the graphs of different functions, create
plain and solid figures, and find the relationship between the geometric figure and its image by a
familiar transformation.
a.Using computer programs ( mainly Geogebra) in “creating” figures.
b.Realizing the animation to find geometric locus under specific conditions.
c.Using specific programs for solving geometric problems and verifying conjectures.
d.Exploring technical ways of preparing and presenting lectures using internet.
e.Uploading and downloading Math projects.
f.Investing Excel in statistics and sequences.
g. Realizing and downloading specialized programs in different Math domains.
h.Elaborating a practical way to invest software in the classroom.

Remarks
Participants are kindly asked to bring their own laptops if available and a USB to the workshop.

Title
Objective
By the end of this workshop coordinators will be able to diagnose the needs of Math teachers and
develop strategies to deal with them.
Description
The coordinators of Maths departments are required to identify the needs of Maths teachers in their
schools. These needs should be discussed within the workshop. Coordinators will work on developing
strategies to deal with those needs.
a.Understanding the different stages of coordination within the whole academic year.
b.Communicating with the principal, other coordinators and Math teachers.
c.Presenting Different lesson plans.
d.Developing a draft Math test according to its objectives.
e.Analyzing the needs of students using technology, mainly excel spread sheets.
f.Analyzing the needs of Math teachers using an objective way in attending classes.
g.Elaborating objective standards in coordination to develop cooperative teamwork.

-Brain storm.
-Presentations, mini lectures and class discussion.
-Work in groups.
Remarks
Participants are required to bring their own textbooks / documents /calculators/ preparation copybooks,
laptops and tests to the workshop if possible.

To follow different strategies for improving a Math session and make learning more influential,
especially in preparing learners to utilize higher-level of thinking and strategies in building, designing
and evaluating tests

b.Distinguishing between teacher’s and learner’s centered teaching.
c.Presenting real life situations to facilitate learning and assessments.
d.Following beneficial strategies in using technology.
e.Applying skills needed in teaching and learning Math.
f.Realizing the role of assessment techniques in adjusting and regulating the method of teaching.
