Beachten Sie alle Sicherheits- und Warnhinweise, u.a. auch

Das Winkelstück ist nach jedem Patienten zu sterilisieren, um eine Übertragung von Infektionsauslösern wie
z.B. HIV (dem AIDS-Virus) oder Hepatitis B auszuschließen, die ernste Erkrankungen hervorrufen oder sogar
zum Tode führen könnten.
Die Kreuzkontamination zwischen Patienten, Anwendern
und Dritten ist durch geeignete Hygienemaßnahmen
auszuschließen.
Benutzen Sie das Winkelstück nur dann, wenn das Instrument fest eingespannt ist. Ziehen Sie das Instrument
nicht aus dem Winkelstückkopf. Ein loses oder teilweise
herausgezogenes Instrument könnte sich aus dem Kopf
lösen oder abbrechen und Verletzungen verursachen.
WARNUNG: Mtwo direct VDW Winkelstücke dürfen nicht
selbst repariert werden.

Bei längeren Nutzungspausen muss das Winkelstück nach Anweisung gereinigt und gepflegt werden. Die Lagerung muss in

Es dürfen nur zugelassene oder Original Ersatz- und Zubehörteile verwendet werden.
Falls das Winkelstück defekt ist, kann es zu einer Erwärmung im
Bereich des Instrumentenkopfes kommen. In diesem Fall besteht Verbrennungsgefahr für die Mundschleimhaut.
Bei erkennbaren Fehlfunktionen oder Beschädigungen ist die
Benutzung unmittelbar einzustellen und das Dentaldepot oder
der Hersteller zu benachrichtigen.
Bei Fragen wenden Sie sich bitte ebenfalls an Ihr Dentaldepot
oder den Hersteller.

ACHTUNG! WARNHINWEIS
Das Winkelstück Mtwo direct VDW erzeugt Magnetfelder,
die zur Beeinflussung von Herzschrittmachern führen können.
Darum darf das Winkelstück Mtwo direct VDW nicht bei
Patienten oder von Anwendern mit Herzschrittmachern eingesetzt werden!
Bei direktem Kontakt des Winkelstückes Mtwo direct VDW
mit magnetischen Datenträgern kann dies zu Datenverlust
führen.
Das Winkelstück ist deshalb mit folgendem Zeichen

1.3 Lebensdauer von Sirona-Instrumenten
Bei bestimmungsgemäßer Anwendung haben:
• nicht bewegte Bauteile von Sirona-Instrumenten eine typische Lebensdauer von 5 Jahren*,
• bewegte Bauteile von Sirona-Instrumenten eine typische
Lebensdauer von 3 Jahren*
Elastomere, z. B. O-Ringe, müssen je nach Verschleiß, wie
beschrieben, getauscht werden.
Aus sicherheitstechnischen Gründen empfehlen wir allerdings eine jährliche Überprüfung des Werkzeughaltesystems.
*Hieraus entsteht kein Gewährleistungsanspruch, da Verschleiß je
nach Nutzung, Sterilisations- und Pflegehäufigkeit auch früher oder
später als in oben genannten Zeiten auftreten kann.

2.1 Winkelstück in Betrieb nehmen
ACHTUNG! Nur bei stillstehendem Motor aufstecken
und abziehen.
Aufstecken: Winkelstück bis zum Einrasten aufstecken.
Abnehmen: Winkelstück einfach abziehen. Dabei nicht
am Versorgungsschlauch festhalten oder ziehen.
i HINWEIS Nachts kein Winkelstück auf dem Motor lassen, damit kein Öl in den Elektromotor läuft.
Elektromotor niemals ölen!

ACHTUNG! Mit dem Mtwo direct VDW Winkelstück dürfen nur Mtwo-Feilen verwendet werden!
Anwendung der Mtwo NiTi-Instrumente:
Mit den Mtwo Instrumenten wird die “Single Length“ Technik
(Einschritt Technik) angewendet. Die Instrumente werden in
der Reihenfolge 10/04, 15/05, 20/06 und 25/06 verwendet.
Weitere Informationen zu dem Mtwo System entnehmen Sie
bitte der Information zur Anwendung.

2.3 Mtwo-Feilen einsetzen/herausnehmen
Wählen Sie die gewünschte NiTi-Feile aus dem Sortiment
aus.
ACHTUNG! Verwenden Sie nur einwandfreie Mtwo-Feilen um Ermüdungsfrakturen der Feilen weitestgehend auszuschließen.
Einsetzen: Die Feile bei stillstehendem Antrieb, ohne den
Druckdeckel zu betätigen, unter leichtem Hin- und Herdrehen bis zum Einrasten einsetzen.
ACHTUNG! Durch Ziehen und Drehen an der Feile
deren festen Sitz prüfen.
Herausnehmen: Nach Stillstand die Feile bei gedrücktem Druckknopf herausziehen.

ACHTUNG! Ziehen Sie die Wange bei laufendem Motor nicht mit dem Winkelstück zurück! Hierbei wird der
Druckknopf unfreiwillig betätigt und es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr für die Mundschleimhaut.
Drehmoment einstellen
Dies erfolgt durch Drehen des Ringes (1), bis dieser mit seiner Vorderkante an der Markierung der gewünschten Einstellung steht.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Einstellungen am Mtwo direct
Winkelstück der anzuwendenden Mtwo-Feile entsprechen.
Sollte das Arbeitsergebnis nicht zufriedenstellend sein, ist
die Einstellung des Drehmomentes zur Feile zu überprüfen.
ACHTUNG! Vor der ersten Behandlung empfehlen wir
Aufbereitungstests an Acrylblöcken oder extrahierten Zähnen.

2.4 Empfehlungen zum Behandlungsablauf
Bitte beachten Sie die Angaben des Feilenherstellers.
Ohne Druck auf das Instrument arbeiten.
Bei der Aufbereitung von Wurzelkanälen ist ein Kofferdam
anzulegen.
Bei Überschreiten des Grenzdrehmoments ist ein leichtes
Knarren zu hören sowie eine Vibration zu spüren – dann
sollte ein Lösen der Feile durch vorsichtiges Ziehen in koronale Richtung erfolgen.
Ist dies nicht möglich, sollte der Antrieb in Linkslauf
gebracht und die Feile aus dem Kanal gezogen werden.
Die Feile ist danach auf Beschädigung oder Verformung
(Aufdrehung) zu kontrollieren. Ist die Feile beschädigt oder
verformt, muss sie auf jeden Fall ausgetauscht werden.

Aufstecken des Gold-Clips
Für Mtwo direct VDW sind 2 Gold-Clips für den Anschluss
eines Messkabels für ein Endometrie-Gerät erhältlich.
Ø 2 mm Die Kontaktstifte an den Gold-Clips haben unterschiedliche
Durchmesser.

Stecken Sie den Gold-Clip mit dem passenden Stiftdurchmesser für das verwendete Endometrie-Gerät wie gezeigt
auf.

Mtwo direct VDW Winkelstück
für den Anschluss an ein Endometrie-Gerät.
Mtwo direct VDW ermöglicht über einen Gold-Clip den
Anschluss eines Messkabels für ein Endometrie-Gerät zur
genauen Kontrolle der Feilenposition im Wurzelkanal.
Aufgrund der in vitro Untersuchungen empfehlen wir, die
maximale Aufbereitungstiefe auf das koronale Ende des
Apexintervalls der Anzeige des jeweils verwendeten Endometrie-Gerätes festzulegen.
ACHTUNG! Beachten Sie bitte die Gebrauchsanweisung des jeweils verwendeten Endometrie-Gerätes.

Kalibrierung
Falls vom Hersteller des Endometrie-Gerätes eine Kalibrierung vorgeschrieben ist, ist diese durchzuführen.
Hierfür ist eine Feile ins Winkelstück einzuspannen und das
Kabel der Feilenklemme (ohne Feilenklemme) auf den Clip
am Winkelstück zu stecken.
ApexLocator
Die ApexLocator-Funktion sollte nur als Unterstützung des
Wurzelkanal-Aufbereitungsprozesses genutzt werden. Mit
SIRONiTi APEX kann die Anzahl der Röntgenbilder reduziert werden, jedoch muss in jedem Fall eine Röntgenaufnahme zur Bestimmung der Aufbereitungstiefe gemacht
werden.

Verwenden Sie bei der Aufbereitung von Wurzelkanälen mit
dem Mtwo direct VDW Winkelstück unbedingt einen Kofferdam und tragen Sie Handschuhe zur Isolierung für korrekte

3.1 Pflege mit T1 Spray

den Spray-Vorgang wiederholen.
Zwischendurch den Antrieb kurz laufen lassen.
• Austretendes Öl bei nicht laufendem Antrieb mit einem
trockenen Tuch abwischen.

kurz freilaufen lassen und bei nicht laufendem Antrieb
mit einem trockenen Tuch abwischen.

3.2 Druckknopf-Spannzange reinigen
Um Ablagerungen zu beseitigen und damit die Funktion des
Spannsystems zu erhalten, ist die Spannzange mit
T1 Spray zu reinigen.
Wöchentlich mindestens einmal
• Winkelstückkopf mit der Spannzange fest an der Düse
der Spraydose ansetzen und die Spannzange 1 – 2 Sekunden durchsprühen.
• Spraydose stets senkrecht halten!
Austretendes Pflegeöl mit fusselfreiem Tuch abwischen.
ACHTUNG! Die Spannzangen der Behandlungsinstrumente auch bei maschineller Aufbereitung zusätzlich immer
nach Herstellerangaben reinigen/ölen!

3.3 Reinigen und Desinfizieren
Tragen Sie geeignete Schutzkleidung.
Entnehmen Sie das rotierende Instrument.
Maschinelle Aufbereitung ist der manuellen vorzuziehen.

3.3.1 Manuell:
Eine manuelle Reinigung ist immer mit einer Desinfektion zu
kombinieren.
ACHTUNG! Nie in Desinfektionslösung tauchen!
Nie im Ultraschallbad reinigen!
• Das Winkelstück und die Gold-Clips durch Abbürsten unter fließendem Wasser (< 38° C, < 100° F, mind. Trinkwasserqualität) reinigen und anschließend ausblasen.
• Mit T1-Spray pflegen, siehe Kapitel 3.1

Äußere Sprüh- und Wischdesinfektion ist zulässig mit
Instrumentendesinfektionsmitteln, beispielsweise können
verwendet werden:

CAVICIDE® oder CAVIWIPES™
Alle desinfizierenden Mittel müssen in Ihrem Land zugelassen sein und nachweislich bakterizide, fungizide und
viruzide Eigenschaften haben.
Beachten Sie die Angaben des Herstellers zur Anwendung
des Instrumentendesinfektionsmittels.
Anschließend ist gemäß Abschnitt 3.4 zu sterilisieren.

ACHTUNG! Die Spannzangen der Instrumente auch bei
maschineller Aufbereitung immer manuell pflegen, wie im
Abschnitt “Druckknopf-Spannzange reinigen“ beschrieben.
Zur maschinellen Reinigung, Desinfektion und Pflege empfehlen wir den Sirona DAC UNIVERSAL zu verwenden.
Die Anwendung entnehmen Sie bitte der Gebrauchsanweisung des Geräts.

Das Winkelstück kann auch in einem geeigneten Thermodesinfektor gereinigt und desinfiziert werden.
Der Thermodesinfektor muss von seinem Hersteller für die
Reinigung und Desinfektion von zahnärztlichen Winkelstücken freigegeben sein und der EN ISO 15883-1 entsprechen (z. B. 95° C (203° F) und 10 min Haltezeit).
ACHTUNG! Nach jeder Behandlung im Thermodesinfektor ist das Instrument zuerst auszublasen und anschließend mit T1-Spray zu pflegen.
Liegt nach der Behandlung im Thermodesinfektor eine Verschmutzung vor, ist der Prozess zu wiederholen. Das Instrument muss vor der weiteren Aufbereitung frei von jeglichen
Rückständen und trocken sein.

Winkelstück zum Schutz mit T1 Spray pflegen (3.1).
Das Winkelstück ist nur im Dampfsterilisator mit gesättigtem
Wasserdampf bei 134° C (274° F), 3 min. Haltezeit
(2,04 bar; 29.59 psi Überdruck) sterilisierbar.
Zugelassen sind Dampfsterilisatoren, die der EN 13060
Klasse B oder S entsprechen und für die Sterilisation von
Winkelstücken geeignet sind:
z.B. DAC PROFESSIONAL.
ACHTUNG! 140° C (284° F) auch während der Trocknungsphase nicht überschreiten!

Winkelstücke können in einer für Sterilisation und Lagerung
geeigneten Verpackung sterilisiert werden, z. B. Papier/
Laminat Verpackung.
Nach der Sterilisation:
Winkelstück sofort aus dem Dampfsterilisator entnehmen.
ACHTUNG! Abkühlung nicht durch Eintauchen der Winkelstücke in kaltes Wasser beschleunigen.
Dies beschädigt Ihr Winkelstück nachhaltig!
Alle Instrumente sind kontaminationsgeschützt aufzubewahren.

each patient to prevent any transmission of infective

Use the contra-angle handpiece only when the instrument is clamped securely in place. Do not pull the instrument out of the contra-angle handpiece head. A loose or
partially removed instrument could detach itself from the
head or break off and cause injuries.

1.1 The Mtwo direct VDW contra-angle handpiece
complying with ISO 7785 - 2
The Mtwo direct VDW contra-angle handpiece corresponds to the regulations according to the state of the art.
According to these regulations, the contra-angle handpiece
may only be used for the described application by trained
personnel, in compliance with the applicable hygiene standards, labor protection regulations, the applicable accident prevention measures and the present operating instructions.

Furthermore, the user is obliged to use only faultless materials, to pay attention to the correct application as well
as to protect himself or herself, the patient and other persons against hazards.
The contra-angle handpiece serves for transmitting the
driving power and speed of the electric motor (handpiece
coupling according to ISO 3964) to the preparation tool.

1.2 Instructions for safe operation
In case of prolonged non-use, the contra-angle handpiece must
be cleaned and cared for in accordance with the instructions.
The instrument must be stored in a dry, heated room.
Use only approved or original replacement and accessory parts.
If the contra-angle handpiece is defective, the area around the
instrument head may heat up, thus creating a risk of burning the
patient's oral mucosa.
In case of noticeable malfunctions or damage, stop using the instrument immediately and notify your dental depot or the manufacturer.

ATTENTION! WARNING
The Mtwo direct VDW contra-angle handpiece generates
magnetic fields which might affect cardiac pacemakers.
Therefore the Mtwo direct VDW contra-angle handpiece
must not be used on patients or operated by users who
have cardiac pacemakers!
Direct contact of the Mtwo direct VDW contra-angle handpiece with magnetic storage media can lead to data loss.
The handpiece is therefore marked with the following symbol:

1.3 Service life of Sirona instruments
When used as intended:
• Non-moving parts of Sirona instruments have a typical
life of 5 years*
• Moving parts of Sirona instruments have a typical service
life of 3 years*
Elastomers, e.g. O-rings, must be replaced depending on
wear as described in the operating instructions.
For safety reasons, however, we recommend an annual
check of the instrument holder system.
*No warranty claim can be inferred here, as wear may occur earlier
or later than indicated above depending on use, frequency of sterilization and frequency of maintenance.

2.1 Putting the contra-angle handpiece into
operation
ATTENTION! Fit or withdraw only with motor at standstill.
Fitting: Fit the contra-angle handpiece until it snaps into place.
Removal: Simply pull off the contra-angle handpiece. Do
not hold or pull on the supply hose!
i NOTE Do not leave contra-angle handpieces on the
motor overnight. This is necessary to prevent oil from seeping into the electric motor.
Never lubricate the electric motor!

2.3 Fitting/withdrawing Mtwo files
Select the desired Mtwo file from the product range.
ATTENTION! Use only faultless Mtwo files in order to
prevent fatigue fractures of the files as far as possible.
Fitting: Insert the file without pressing the pushbutton cover and while the drive is at standstill, turning it slightly forwards and backwards until it snaps into place.
ATTENTION! Test whether the file is firmly seated by
pulling and turning it.
Removing: After it has come to a stop, withdraw the file
while pressing and holding down the pushbutton.

ATTENTION! Do not pull the patient's cheek back with
the contra-angle handpiece while the motor is running! This
would accidentally actuate the pushbutton, thus creating a
risk of burning the patient's oral mucosa.Setting the torque
This is done by turning ring (1) until its front edge touches
the marker of the desired setting.
Ensure that the correct setting on the Mtwo direct contra-angle handpiece has been selected for the Mtwo file being
used.
Should the results be unsatisfactory, check that the contraangle handpiece is set to the correct setting for the instrument.
ATTENTION! Prior to the first treatment, we recommend
performing conditioning tests on resin blocks or extracted
teeth.

2.4 Recommendations on the treatment procedure
Please observe the information provided by the file
manufacturer.
Do not apply pressure to the instrument during operation.
It is recommended to place a rubber dam when preparing a
root canal.
When the limit torque is exceeded, a low creaking noise can
be heard and a vibration can be felt – then the file should be
released by pulling it cautiously in coronal direction.
If this is not possible, the drive should be switched to counterclockwise rotation and the file withdrawn from the canal.
Subsequently, the file must be checked for damage or deformation (untwisting).
If the file is damaged or deformed, it must be replaced in any
case.

Mtwo direct VDW contra-angle handpiece
for connection to the endometer.
The Mtwo direct VDW makes it possible to connect a measuring cable for an endometer via a clip in order to check the
exact position of the file in the root canal.
Based on in vitro studies, we recommend defining the maximum preparation depth at the coronal end of the apex interval on the display of the endometer used.

Calibration
A calibration must be performed if so specified by the manufacturer of the endometer.
For this purpose, a file must be clamped in the contra-angle
handpiece and the cable of the file clamp (without file clamp)
must be plugged onto the clip on the contra-angle handpiece.
Apex locator
The apex locator function should be used only to support the
root canal preparation process. The number of X-ray images
can be reduced with the SIRONiTi APEX, however, an X-ray
image must be taken to determine the preparation depth in
any case.

load on the dental unit and wipe it with a dry cloth while
the drive is at standstill.

3.2 Cleaning the pushbutton chuck
To remove deposits and ensure proper functioning of the
clamping system, the chuck must be cleaned with
T1 spray.
At least once a week
• Press the contra-angle handpiece head with the chuck
firmly against the spray can nozzle and spray the chuck
for 1 – 2 seconds.
• Always keep the spray can upright!
Wipe off any leaking protective oil with a lint-free cloth.
ATTENTION! Always clean and oil the chucks of treatment instruments as specified by the manufacturer, even
when they are being processed automatically!

3.3 Cleaning and disinfection
Wear the appropriate protective clothing.
Remove the rotating instrument.
Automated processing is preferable over manual.

Manual cleaning must always be combined with disinfection.
ATTENTION! Never immerse in disinfectants!
Never clean in an ultrasonic bath!
• Clean the contra-angle handpiece and the gold clips by
brushing them off under running water (< 38 °C, < 100 °F,
at least drinking water quality) and then blowing them out.
• Spray with T1 spray, see section 3.1.

The thermodisinfector used must be approved by its manufacturer for cleaning and disinfecting contra-angle dental

ATTENTION! After every thermodisinfection the instrument must first be blown out and then treated with T1 spray.

1.1 Le contre-angle Mtwo direct VDW
selon ISO 7785 - 2
Le contre-angle Mtwo direct VDW satisfait aux dispositions correspondant à l’état actuel de la technologie.
Selon ces dispositions, le contre-angle ne doit être utilisé
que pour l'application décrite par des opérateurs avertis,
compte tenu de l'observation des prescriptions d'hygiène, des
dispositions relatives à la protection du travail, des mesures de
prévention des accidents en vigueur et des instructions de la
présente notice d'utilisation.

Selon ces dispositions, il incombe en outre à l'opérateur
de n'utiliser que des moyens de travail en bon état de
fonctionnement, de veiller à leur destination correcte et
d'éviter tout risque de mise en danger de sa propre personne, des patients ainsi que de tiers.
Le contre-angle permet de transmettre la puissance d'entraînement et la vitesse de rotation du moteur électrique
(accouplement de pièce-à-main selon ISO 3964) à l'outil
de préparation.

interrompre immédiatement l’utilisation de l’instrument et informer le dépôt dentaire ou le fabricant.

2.1 Mise en service du contre-angle
ATTENTION! La fixation et le retrait doivent s'effectuer
uniquement lorsque le moteur est à l'arrêt.
Fixation : engager le contre-angle jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche.
Retrait : il suffit de retirer le contre-angle. Ne pas saisir ni
tirer le tuyau d'alimentation.
i REMARQUE Après la journée de travail, séparer les
pièces-à-main / contre-angles du moteur afin d'éviter un
écoulement d'huile dans le moteur électrique.
Ne jamais huiler le moteur électrique !

Sélectionner dans l'assortiment la lime Mtwo voulue.
ATTENTION! Utiliser uniquement des limes Mtwo en
parfait état afin d'exclure autant que possible des fractures
de fatigue au niveau des limes.
Mise en place : en veillant à ce que l'entraînement soit à
l'arrêt et que le couvercle de pression ne soit pas actionné,
mettre en place la lime en la tournant légèrement dans un
sens et dans l'autre jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’enclenche.
ATTENTION! Tirer et tourner la lime pour contrôler sa
bonne fixation.
Retrait : extraire la lime à l’arrêt en maintenant le poussoir
enfoncé.

ATTENTION! Lorsque le moteur tourne, ne pas utiliser
le contre-angle pour retrousser la joue ! Ceci pourrait
provoquer un actionnement intempestif du poussoir et
entraîner un risque de blessures de la muqueuse buccale.
Réglage du couple
Pour ce faire, tourner la bague (1) jusqu'à ce que son bord
avant corresponde au réglage souhaité.
Vérifier si le réglage du contre-angle correspond à la lime
Mtwo à utiliser.
Si le résultat n’est pas satisfaisant, vérifiez le réglage du
couple de la lime.
ATTENTION! Avant le premier traitement, il est recommandé de procéder à des essais sur des blocs en résine
acrylique ou sur des dents extraites.

2.4 Recommandations pour le déroulement du
traitement
Respecter les indications des fabricants des limes.
Travailler sans exercer de pression sur l'instrument.
Lors de la préparation de canaux radiculaires, l'application
d'une digue de caoutchouc est recommandée.
Le dépassement du couple limite provoque l'apparition d'un léger ronflement et d'une vibration. Dans ce cas, il convient de retirer la lime en la tirant avec précaution dans le sens coronaire.
Si ce n'est pas possible, il convient d'amener l'entraînement
en rotation à gauche et de retirer la lime du canal.
Contrôler ensuite la lime pour s'assurer de l'absence d'endommagements ou de déformations (vrillage).
Si la lime est endommagée ou déformée, la remplacer systématiquement.

Mtwo direct VDW
Contre-angle SIRONiTi APEX
pour le raccordement à un appareil d'endométrie.
Mtwo direct VDW permet, par le biais d'un clip d‘or, de raccorder un câble de mesure pour un appareil d'endométrie
afin de contrôler avec précision la position de la lime dans le
canal radiculaire.
En raison des examens in vitro, nous recommandons de
fixer la profondeur de traitement maximale à l'extrémité coronale de l'intervalle de l'apex de l'affichage de l'appareil
d'endométrie utilisé.
ATTENTION! Observer les indications de la notice
d'utilisation de l'appareil d'endométrie utilisé.

Pour le raccordement à des appareils d'endométrie du commerce avec raccordement de câble Ø 2 mm, par ex. :
• iPex (NSK)
• RayPex 4 (VDW)
• RayPex 5 (VDW)

ATTENTION! Les appareils d'endométrie doivent satisfaire aux exigences de la norme CEI 60601.

2 Utilisation
Calibrage
Procéder à un calibrage au cas où le fabricant de l'appareil
d'endométrie prescrit de réaliser cette opération.
Pour ce faire, monter une lime dans le contre-angle et brancher le câble de la pince pour lime (sans la pince) sur le clip
au niveau du contre-angle.
Localisateur d'apex
La fonction de localisateur d’apex ne doit être utilisée qu’à
titre d’aide dans le cadre du processus de préparation du canal radiculaire. SIRONiTi APEX permet de réduire le nombre d'images de radiographie, mais une radiographie reste
requise dans tous les cas pour déterminer la profondeur de
traitement.
Un jugement clinique, y compris des connaissances sur
l'anatomie des canaux radiculaires, est important lors de l'interprétation des résultats.

Lors de la préparation de canaux radiculaires avec le contreangle Mtwo direct VDW, utiliser impérativement une digue
de protection et porter des gants pour assurer l'isolation et
garantir ainsi des résultats de mesure corrects.
L’instrument pour canal radiculaire (lime) ainsi que le contreangle ne doivent pas toucher la muqueuse buccale.

3 Entretien et maintenance
Entretien et maintenance
3.1 Entretien avec spray T1

Chaque jour à midi et le soir, avant chaque stérilisation et
après chaque thermodésinfection.
Utiliser uniquement du spray T1, réf. de cde 59 01 665.
• Retirer l'instrument.
• Désaccoupler le contre-angle du moteur.
• Emmancher l'embout de spray (1) sur la buse du pulvérisateur comme indiqué sur la figure.

Utiliser uniquement des pièces de rechange et des accessoires homologués ou d'origine.

Engager le contre-angle jusqu'en butée et le maintenir
en position.
• Pulvériser du spray pendant 1 – 2 secondes.
Si le liquide qui sort au niveau de la tête n'est pas propre, répéter l'opération.
Faire brièvement tourner le moteur pendant les intervalles.
• Enlever l'huile sortant des paliers à l'aide d'un chiffon sec
en veillant à ce que le moteur ne tourne pas.

Avant utilisation, faire tourner brièvement le contre-angle
sur l'unité dentaire, puis, sans faire tourner l'entraînement, essuyer avec un chiffon sec.

3.2 Nettoyage de la pince de serrage avec
poussoir
Pour éliminer les dépôts et maintenir le bon fonctionnement
du système de serrage, la pince doit être nettoyée avec le
spray T1 au moins une fois par semaine.
• Appliquer fermement la tête du contre-angle avec la pince de serrage contre la buse du pulvérisateur et pulvériser le produit pendant 1 – 2 secondes dans la pince de
serrage.
• Maintenir toujours le pulvérisateur en position verticale !
Avec un chiffon non pelucheux, essuyer l’écoulement de
l'huile d'entretien.
ATTENTION! Même en cas de préparation à l'aide d'une
machine, nettoyer/huiler en plus les pinces de serrage des
instruments de traitement conformément aux indications du
fabricant !

3.3 Nettoyage et désinfection
Porter des vêtements de protection adaptés.
Retirer l'instrument en rotation.
Il convient de privilégier un traitement à la machine par
rapport à un traitement manuel.

i REMARQUE Pour le nettoyage et la désinfection du
contre-angle Mtwo direct VDW, retirer le clip d‘or, puis le
nettoyer et le désinfecter séparément.

3.3.1 Traitement manuel
Un nettoyage manuel doit toujours s’accompagner d’une
désinfection.
ATTENTION! Ne jamais plonger l’instrument dans une
solution de désinfectant !
Ne jamais le nettoyer dans une cuve à ultrasons !
• Nettoyer le contre-angle et les clips par simple brossage
sous l’eau courante (< 38 °C, < 100 °F, min. eau potable
exigée), puis sécher par soufflage.
Entretenir avec du spray T1, voir chapitre 3.1.

Une désinfection externe par pulvérisation et par essuyage est autorisée avec
des produits de désinfection des instruments, tels que :
MinutenSpray classic, de la société Alpro
MinutenWipes, de la société Alpro
Aux Etats-Unis et au Canada :
CAVICIDE® ou CAVIWIPES™
Tous les produits désinfectants doivent être autorisés dans
le pays d'utilisation et avoir des propriétés bactéricides, fongicides et virucides prouvées.
Observer les indications du fabricant concernant l’utilisation
du produit de désinfection pour instruments.
Enfin, stériliser comme décrit au point 3.4.

3.3.2 Traitement à la machine

ATTENTION! Même en cas de traitement à la machine,
les pinces de serrage des instruments doivent systématiquement faire l’objet d’un entretien manuel comme décrit au
point “Nettoyage de la pince de serrage à bouton-poussoir“.
Pour le nettoyage, la désinfection et l’entretien à la machine,
nous recommandons d’utiliser le Sirona DAC UNIVERSAL.
Pour l’utilisation, se reporter à la notice d’utilisation de l’appareil.

Le contre-angle peut également être nettoyé et désinfecté
dans un thermodésinfecteur approprié.
Le thermodésinfecteur doit être validé par son fabricant pour
le nettoyage et la désinfection de contre-angles dentaires et
satisfaire aux exigences de la norme EN ISO 15883-1
(par ex. 95 °C (203 °F) et 10 min de temps de maintien).
ATTENTION! Après chaque traitement dans le thermodésinfecteur, souffler tout d’abord l’instrument à l’air comprimé et réaliser ensuite l’entretien avec du spray T1.
Si des saletés sont encore présentes après traitement dans
le thermodésinfecteur, il est nécessaire de répéter l'opération. L’instrument doit être exempt de tous résidus et sec
avant la poursuite du traitement.

Avant la stérilisation :
Nettoyer et désinfecter le contre-angle (3.3).
Pour sa protection, entretenir le contre-angle avec du
spray T1 (3.1).
Le contre-angle peut être stérilisé uniquement dans un stérilisateur à la vapeur d’eau saturée à 134 °C (273,2 °F) pendant 3 min (surpression de 2,04 bars ; 29,59 psi).
Les appareils homologués sont les stérilisateurs à la vapeur
conformes à la classe B ou S de la norme EN 13060 et
convenant à la stérilisation de contre-angles :
par ex. DAC PROFESSIONAL.
ATTENTION! Ne pas dépasser 140 °C (284 °F) y compris pendant la phase de séchage !

Les contre-angles peuvent être stérilisés dans un emballage
convenant à la stérilisation et au stockage, par ex. dans un
emballage papier/stratifié.
Après la stérilisation :
Retirer immédiatement le contre-angle du stérilisateur à
vapeur.
ATTENTION! Ne pas accélérer le refroidissement en
plongeant le contre-angle dans de l’eau froide.
Ceci entraînerait irrémédiablement l’endommagement du
contre-angle !
Tous les instruments doivent être conservés de sorte à les
préserver de toute contamination.
