be applied in the evening as a night
care, or during the day, over the
lipstick. Also in the Lip Care range,
the Lip Nourishing Cream - creamy
and soft - brings volume, redefines
contours and minimizes fine lines
(moisturising, anti-ageing agents).
Riding the trend of Sleep Masks,
the service provider also presented
Lip Sleep Mask. Infused with a
peptide complex and moisturising
and volume enhancing agents, this
light texture is applied in the evening
and acts overnight. In addition to lip
care, the contract manufacturer also
tapped into nail art to design Lip Art
(Photo 6), a line of formulas for the
lips truly stepping out of the box: like
the Lip Tatoo, a foam that coats lips
with a vibrant and matte colour. Lip
Graffiti, a (waterproof) gold liner,

à l’image de Lip Tatoo, une mousse
qui pare les lèvres d’une teinte
vibrante et matte. Lip Graffiti, un
liner doré (waterproof), transforme
les lèvres en un terrain d’expression artistique ; Lip Bling (mélange
de poudres et pigments nacrés)
imite les effets pailletés des fards
à paupières. Il habille un rouge à
lèvres ou une base naturelle d’effets
métalliques, brillants et 3D. Chez
ICC, enfin, les ongles et cuticules
s’offrent aussi un gommage avec
Cuticle Mag Scrub* (Photo 7), cette
base huileuse se compose de particules magnétiques, à retirer avec
l’embout aimanté du capuchon.

Formules « coussin », à mémoire de
forme ou encore à transformations :
la sensorialité se décline à l’infini,
quelle que soit la zone du visage
ciblée. Ingrédients prisés de ces
galéniques « cocons », les silicones
continuent à tenir le haut du pavé.
Onyligne affichait ainsi la couleur
avec son « bar à sens » (Photo 8),
une collection de textures inspirées de délicieuses gourmandises.
À l’instar de son Chocolat Chaud, un
fard à paupières sous forme d’une
gelée aqueuse à mémoire de forme,
au fini soyeux et poudré. Mimant le
miel, la Jelly Cleansing s’inscrit dans
la mouvance des gelées démaquillantes se métamorphosant en lait
sous l’eau (formule riche en huiles
et glycérine). Le Bouncy Foundation
d’ABC Texture (en boîtier compact),
à mémoire de forme, fond sur la
peau telle une guimauve et procure
un teint lisse et mat. Chez l’Italien

«Cushion», shape-memory or transformation formulas, for sensoriality

en huiles et silicones, elle se décline en
fond de teint, anticernes, blush… (Color
Igloo, Pearly Color Igloo…). Enfin, pour
un teint zéro défaut, le Blurred Lines
Primer (en flacon-pompe), mis au point
par BCM, délivre une émulsion E/Si (50 %
de silicones). Crémeuse et soyeuse, elle
uniformise le teint et mattifie la peau
(poudre de tapioca).
Des textures poids-plume
pour le teint
La fluidité remarquée sur les produits à
lèvres le confirme : la légèreté et l’évanescence séduisent la catégorie maquillage. Certains façonniers mettaient ainsi
en avant des poudres pour le visage,
aériennes et imperceptibles. À l’image de
BCM avec son Icy Fresh Face Powder
(Photo 10) : conditionnée en pot et
délivrée à travers un filet, à l’aide d’un
pinceau. Cette poudre blanche procure un
effet frais grâce à sa teneur en eau (35 %).
Très douce et mattifiante, elle associe
plusieurs poudres (silicones, silice, talc),
sans effet blanchissant. Chez Orléans
Cosmetics, la Sublime Poudre HD* – en
version libre ou compacte – se dote d’un
applicateur en mousse (Photo 11). Ultra
fine, elle sublime le teint avec son effet
flouteur et mattifiant, sans déshydrater la
peau (huile de luffa, kaolin, poudre traitée
silicone…). Chez Aircos, Aqua Powder est
une poudre libre sous forme de « salière »
qui libère des gouttelettes d’eau à l’étalement et s’accompagne d’une sensation
de fraîcheur. Poids-plume version liquide,
enfin, le spray Airbrush Makeup Setting
Spray de l’américain Oxygen Development se vaporise avant ou sur le maquillage. Cette brume fine et évanescente agit
tel un bouclier anti-pollution (présence
d’un polysaccharide biotech) et assure
une longue tenue et un fini mat.

en fréquentation et en taille. Nous avons eu des échanges
très qualitatifs avec les interlocuteurs marketing ou R&D
des marques. J’apprécie donc cet évènement pour son
public très « professionnel ».
As a third time exhibitor here, we have witnessed the
growing importance of this show both in size and
attendance. We had very qualitative discussions with
visitors from marketing or R & D brands. I therefore
appreciate this event for its very “professional“ attendance.

delicacies presented on a counter. Like its
Chocolat Chaud, an eyeshadow in the form
of an aqueous gel with a shape memory
and a silky, powdery finish. Imitating honey
and part of the cleansing jelly trend, the Jelly
Cleansing transform into milk under water
(oil- and glycerin-rich formula). The Bouncy
Foundation proposed by ABC Texture
(compact case), with a shape memory,
melts on the skin like a marshmallow and
leaves the complexion smooth and matte.
With the Italian Company, ArtCosmetics,
the “cushion“ skin feel was put forward
in the Water Shock Eyeshadow. A texture

achieved, among others, thanks to the
presence of water (30%) for a smooth and
uniform result. As for the cheeks, blushes
also opt for fun formats: in the form of a
balm hot poured in a jar, the Blush Plume
of Orléans Cosmetics gains immediate
volume upon application and leaves a soft
and powdery veil (silicone gel, powders...).
Another silicone texture at Red of View which
presented a blush in a compact, Maleficient
Touch. Creamy under the fingertips, this
texture with a “gum“ aspect changes into
powder upon application. Gotha Cosmetics
offers the same skin feel transformation with
a hot poured formula with a plump and firm
appearance (Photo 9). With a rich content
in oils and silicones, it is available as a
foundation, concealer, blush... (Color Igloo,
Pearly Color Igloo). Finally, for a flawless
complexion, the Blurred Lines Primer (pump

bottle), developed by BCM, delivers a W/Si
emulsion (50% of silicone). Creamy and
silky, it evens the complexion and mattifies
the skin (tapioca powder).
Lightweight textures for the
complexion
As was demonstrated by the fluidity of
textures for lip products: lightness and
evanescence seduce the make-up category.
Some contract manufacturers also put
forward several airy and imperceptible
face powders. Such as the Icy Fresh Face
Powder (Photo 10) developed by BCM:
conditioned in a jar and collected through
a mesh with a brush. This white powder
with its water content (35%) delivers a cool
effect. Very soft and mattifying, it combines
several powders (silicone, silica, talc) with no
