Le président souhaite la bienvenue à tous et avise
que les représentants municipaux sont absents du à
une réunion à Kirkland Lake.
Word from the president
The president welcomed all and informs the
committee that the municipal representatives are
absent due to a meeting in Kirkland Lake.
Il rappelle aux membres que les réunions débutent
maintenant à 7:00 pm. Il faudra faire modifier les
annonces dans Le Reflet et La Nouvelle.
He reminded members that the meetings now start
at 7:00 pm. The advertisement in Le Reflet and La
Nouvelle will have to be modified.
Il annonce que Stéphane Tremblay a dû
démissionner comme secrétaire du Comité à cause
de sa charge de travail. Il indique qu’il lui a
envoyé un message de remerciement et que le poste
est maintenant ouvert.
He announced that Stéphane Tremblay had to
resign as Committee secretary due to his work load.
He also indicated that a thank you note was sent to
him and that the position of Committee Secretary
was now open.
Le Comité est d’avis qu’une lettre de remerciement
soit aussi envoyée à René Giroux pour sa
contribution durant son stage comme président du
comité.
The Committee agrees that a thank you note should
also be sent to René Giroux for his contribution as
president of the committee.

L’installation des poteaux de limite d’accès
à la piste récréative a été complétée.
Durant la dernière réunion du comité du
parc, les montants à dépenser pour les
arbres, arbustes, bancs, poubelles et support
pour bicyclette ont été établis.
Tous les articles ont été commandés et les
arbres et arbustes ont été livrés et plantés.
La balance d’environs $500.00 pourra servir
à l’installation des bancs et poubelles.
Le comité est d’avis qu’il devra étudier les
façons d’obtenir des fonds pour le pavage
de la piste.

The installation of access posts to restrict
access to the trail has been completed.
During the last meeting of the Park
Committee, the amounts for trees, shrubs,
benches, garbage cans and bike rack have
been allocated.
All articles have been ordered and the trees
and shrubs have been delivered and planted.
The $500 balance could be used for the
installation of garbage cans and benches.
The Committee agrees that it should be
looking into ways of obtaining funds for
paving of the recreational trail.
Moniteur au parc
Le comité est d’avis qu’un moniteur serait très
utile pour améliorer l’achalandage au parc
durant la période estivale. Il serait responsable
de la surveillance, de l’entretien, de coordonner
les jeux pour les enfants, d’ouvrir la bâtisse
pour la salle de bains. Il y aurait une
opportunité d’ouvrir le restaurant. Les
étudiants ayant des heures de bénévolat seraient
considérés. On indique qu’il y aurait un besoin
de supervision. Ce sujet sera discuté avec la
municipalité.
Facilitator for the park
The committee feels that a facilitator for the
park during the summer holidays would be very
useful in increasing the use of the park. He
would be responsible for surveillance,
maintenance, coordinating games for the kids,
opening of the building for the rest rooms. This
would provide an opportunity to open the
restaurant. The students requiring volunteer
hours would be considered. It was indicated
that there would be a need for supervision. The
project will be discussed with the municipality.
Budget d’entretiens pour le parc
Le comité indique qu’il est très satisfait du parc
et qu’il est maintenant important de s’occuper
de l’entretien régulièrement. Il suggère que le
budget du parc inclus des montants annuels
pour l’entretien. Ce point sera discuté avec la
municipalité.
Maintenance budget for the park
The Committee indicates that it is satisfied with
the park and that it is now important to take care
of the maintenance on a regular basis. It was
suggested that the park budget include annual
amounts for the maintenance. This will be
discussed with the municipality.
Jeu d’eau pour le parc
La garderie propose une levée de fond pour
acheter et installer un jeu d’eau au parc. Avant
de procéder, les membres sont d’avis que les
coûts totaux doivent être connus et que la
municipalité et le Comité du parc soient
informés. Il faut aussi connaître les coûts
d’entretien et pour l’utilisation de l’eau. Le
Comité attendra les informations avant de
discuter.
Water game for the park
The daycare centre proposes a fundraiser to
purchase and install a water game in the park.
Before proceeding, the members agree that the
total costs would have to be known and that the
municipality and the Park committee be
advised. The costs for maintenance and water
use would also have to be known. The
Committee will wait for this information before
discussions.

La lumière défectueuse au coin de Main et
Chemin Limoges a été réparée rapidement.

The defective street light at the corner of

quelques membres ont participé à la réunion
municipale du 29 août. Un chèque
symbolique de $4,000 a été remis à RDÉE
pour le projet de skate-park de Limoges.

intersections de la rue King et Route 300.

status of the street lights on Limoges Road
at the intersections of King and Route 300.
