Art on Paper, le salon du dessin contemporain de Bruxelles, prépare sa seconde
édition organisée en collaboration avec BOZAR du 8 au 11 septembre 2016.
- Le dessin, aujourd'hui / 25 galeries, 25 singularités graphiques
Le salon réitère son concept à BOZAR où l'on découvrira 25 galeries belges et
internationales présentant chacune un artiste exposé en solo-shows.
Trois axes forts sont à retenir pour cette seconde édition :
- La mise en avant de nouvelles démarches artistiques de galeries minutieusement
choisies par le comité de sélection Art On Paper
- L’équilibre presque parfait entre artistes émergents et confirmés
- La mise en lumière d’artistes ‘à découvrir’ en amont du salon à travers:
+ L’ ‘Eeckman Art Prize’, prix du dessin contemporain
+ ‘Les Invités de la Curatrice’ : Œuvres réalisées in situ d’artistes invités par Pauline

Art on Paper, de beurs voor hedendaagse tekenkunst, maakt zich op voor de tweede
editie, die samen met BOZAR georganiseerd wordt en loopt van 8 tot 11 september
2016.

De beurs linkt zijn concept aan BOZAR, waar men 25 Belgische en Internationale
galeries zal kunnen ontdekken, die elk één kunstenaar voorstellen in een solo-show.
Drie sterke pijlers voor deze tweede editie:
- Focus op een nieuwe artistieke benadering van minutieus geselecteerde galeries door
het selectiecomité van Art on Paper.
- Een -bijna- perfect evenwicht tussen gevestigde en opkomende kunstenaars.
- Focus op nieuw talent:
+ De ‘Eeckman Art Prize’, prijs voor hedendaagse tekenkunst
+ ‘De gasten van de curator': Kunstwerken die in situ gerealiseerd worden door
kunstenaars, op uitnodiging van curator Pauline Hatzigeorgiou.

Art on Paper, The Brussels' contemporary drawing fair, is gearing up for its second
outing organised in collaboration with BOZAR from 8 to 11 September 2016.
- Drawing, today / 25 galleries, 25 graphic uniquenesses
This second edition will take place again in BOZAR, where once again, 25 Belgian and
international galleries will each present a single artist's solo show.
Three main axes must be retained for this second edition:
- The prominence of new artistic approaches by galleries carefully selected by the Art On
Paper Selection Committee
- The balance between emerging and confirmed artists
- The highlighting of ‘discovery’ artists next to the fair through:
+ ‘The ‘Eeckman Art Prize’ for contemporary drawing
+ ‘The invitees of the curator’: Works created in situ by artists invited by Pauline
Hatzigeorgiou.
