le thème « La foi dans ma vie ». Messe à 11h00, invité d’honneur Mgr Marcel
Damphousse, évêque; un diner sera servi à 12h00; réunion d’affaires à 13h15; clôture à

La Paroisse de la Nativité vous invite à leur souper paroissial qui aura lieu à la

Francis de Sales Parish, Sunday, 21st October, 2-4 p.m. in the church basement. Bring

A major fundraiser is underway for the Cornwall Catholic Secondary Schools Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic. It is an online fundraiser where you can renew current magazines or order new ones. Thirty‐seven percent of the amount you pay before tax, is returned to the Mission Group as a donation. Thanks for taking time to browse the 500 magazines that are available. Our pilgrimage celebrant will be Archbishop Terrence Prendergast, Archbishop of Ottawa. For

3ème pèlerinage annuel à l’Oratoire St-Joseph avec un premier arrêt au sanctuaire Kateri

The three English Cornwall Catholic Secondary Schools are
preparing for a joint Mission Trip to San Jose de Ocoa, Dominican Republic, which will
take place from March 8 to 16, 2013. Students and staff who go on this trip help to build
houses, schools and latrines etc… in poor mountain villages. If you would like to make
a donation to go towards this life-changing trip, a registered charitable donation receipt
can be issued for donations of $20 or more (cheques made payable to C.D.S.B.E.O.)

Rencontre avec notre nouvel Évêque à notre nouveau Centre Catholique
C’est au Centre Catholique Agora (ancienne salle paroissiale de La Nativité), 301, avenue
McConnell, qu’aura lieu cette rencontre dimanche, le 14 octobre, de 13h00 à 16h00. Nous
souhaiterons la bienvenue à notre nouvel Évêque, et ensuite il procédera à l’ouverture officielle
de notre nouveau Centre Catholique. Ce sera donc portes ouvertes et le plaisir d’une rencontre
avec Mgr Marcel. Il y aura ensuite exposition par plusieurs organisations et groupes
catholiques présentement actifs dans notre diocèse. Il y aura aussi une collation, un coin de
bricolage pour enfants et l’occasion de jouer aux quilles pour un “loonie”. Pour plus

Meet Our New Bishop at Our New Catholic Centre
The Agora Catholic Centre (formerly the Nativity Parish Hall), 301 McConnell Ave. in
Cornwall is the place to be on Sunday, October 14th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. We will
welcome our new Bishop, who will officially open our new Catholic Centre. This exciting event
will include an open house, a meet and greet with Bishop Marcel and a trade show highlighting
the numerous Catholic organizations and groups in our diocese. There will be snacks, a craft
corner for the kids and an opportunity to bowl for a loonie. For additional information and to see

The Cornwall Catholic Secondary Schools Mission Group is collecting Canadian Tire money to be
used to purchase supplies needed for the Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic. If you would like
