Li Marteling :
Li Marteling : Let’s dance
Let’s dance
About Li
She has made each of her dreams
come true. Luckily, she is always
chasing after new challenges,
and with her help, stars are
sometimes born.
Luxembourgeoise, 2 enfants
Place: Imperial Theatre
Artwork: Penseur de Rodin
Show : Sophisticated Ladies
Choregrapher : Bob Fossé
Li like Lisa Minelli
Li Marteling discovered her destiny one
day in front of the television set. Watching
a show starring Lisa Minelli, the 10-year
old girl couldn’t sit still. She was on her
feet for the rest of the show and started
intensive training the very next day.
Ten years later, the young woman left the
Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to train as a
dance teacher in Paris. She devoured
everything the French capital had to offer
in terms of shows and museums. Rick
Odums, a professional dancer, advised
her to go and finish her training on
Broadway. She landed there at the age of
24 and the experience marked her for life.
As soon as she returned to Luxembourg,
she set herself a simple objective: to set
up a dance school where the amateurs
are treated like professionals.
Elle avait plusieurs rêves qu’elle a successivement
réalisés. Heureusement, elle trouve sans cesse
de nouveaux défis qui donnent parfois naissance
à des étoiles.
La carrière de Li Marteling commence
devant un téléviseur. Découvrant un
spectacle de Lisa Minelli, la petite fille
de 10 ans ressent des fourmis dans les
jambes.
Rick
Odums, un danseur professionnel lui
conseille d’aller parfaire sa formation à
Broadway. Elle y débarque à 24 ans et
revient marquée à vie. Dès son retour
à Luxembourg, elle se fixe un objectif
simple : fonder une école de danse où
les amateurs sont traités comme des
Pros.
New York – New York
The « Big Apple » joue un rôle central
de New York. Amateurs de tourisme,

s’abstenir !
jeunes filles. Une dizaine d’entre elles ont
d’ailleurs fini professionnelles.
New York – New York
The “Big Apple” plays a central role in Li’s
life. In her dance school, she has always
set out to reproduce the positive and
communicative energy that she witnessed
there. 6 teachers give around sixty
lessons a week to hundreds of pupils.
In 1998, she made an old dream come
true and took her dancers to the place
where she herself had trained, to the
Broadway Dance Centre in New York.
It was no holiday! The 75 children that
went on the trip spent 6 hours a day
dancing. Aged between 12 and 18 years,
the rest of the time was spent watching
the professionals training or relaxing!
For Li, dance is first of all a school of life,
but one that can lead to a vocation.
Imagine the lasting influence of this kind
of experience on young girls. It is no
wonder that around ten of them have
ended up professional dancers.
« Just dancing »
« Just dancing » propose six représentations au Grand Théatre. Décors,
costumes, éclairage, vente de tickets…
500 personnes se dévouent pour éblouir
les 6 000 spectateurs. L’ambassade du
Luxembourg a dû apprécier, puisqu’elle
a présenté le show à la Turtle Bay Music
School… de New York, évidemment !

“Just dancing”
Every three years, Li pulls out all the
stops. Created in 1981, “Just Dancing”
gives six performances at the Grand

lighting and sale of tickets … 500
persons in all put their efforts into dazzling
a 6000-strong audience. The Embassy of
Luxembourg must have been impressed,
as it presented the show at the Turtle Bay
Music School … in New York, of course!
Li Marteling learned in the dance studio
that you can never be satisfied with your
performance, but one day she must have
felt that her life could not get better than
this, when she had the chance to finally
meet her heroine, Lisa Minelli.

Corinne Cahen:
Home Sweet Home
A woman of action, Corinne
Cahen tackles her days at full
speed: dividing her time between
educating her two daughters,
managing her shop and the
Commercial Union she chairs.
The White House
After studying translation and
business, Corinne fulfilled her dream
by obtaining a postgraduate degree
in journalism. She joined the AFP in
Paris and was posted to Washington
as a replacement. The young woman
from Luxembourg found herself
a regular visitor at the White House,
where she attended briefings with
the President. She made the most
of her US experience. Looking back,
she is still surprised at the difference
in attitudes between Europe and
America in terms of relations between
the sexes. The return to Europe
proved a shock. On discovering that
she spoke Dutch, the AFP personnel
manager posted her to The Hague.
A few weeks later, she decided that
the time had come for her to return
to Luxembourg.
Back to her roots
In 1998, Corinne was recruited by
Tom Graas to work at RTL Radio.
Going back to her roots in a way, after
her initial experience at RTL TV and
Eldoradio just after leaving school. For
three years, she was the presenter/
reporter for political, business and
legal stories. In 2001, she decided to
go freelance in order to gradually take
over her family business, “Chaussures
Leon”, established in 1924. A new
challenge, but remaining firmly
focused on her driving passion of
communication.
Varied activities
If there is one thing that Corinne
cannot bear it is people who talk a lot
at meetings then do nothing the rest
of the time. It was therefore no
surprise when she decided to get
involved in the Commercial Union of
the City of Luxembourg. What’s more,
the streets of the city centre hold no
secrets for her, after giving guided
tours in five languages after
graduating. In 2007, Fernand Ernster
and Michel Rodenbourg brought
fresh impetus to the association.
She became General Secretary,
and then President. It takes up a great
deal of her time, but she remains true
to her philosophy of wholehearted
commitment.

Meeting with Tonika Hirdman,
managing director.
Why was the Fondation de
Luxembourg set up?
Until now, there was no
independent consultancy structure
for patronage and philanthropic
commitment. Potential donors can
now contact us to bring their
projects to fruition. We act as an
intermediary between their projects
and the public interest bodies
operating in their target areas.
The creation of the Foundation

Nationale de Secours GrandeDuchesse Charlotte.
Créée en janvier 2009, la Fondation de Luxembourg
assiste les personnes et entreprises voulant
s’engager financièrement dans l’intérêt général.
Rencontre avec Tonika Hirdman, directrice générale.
Jusqu’à présent, il n’existait aucune
structure de conseil indépendante en
matière de mécénat et d’engagement
philantropique. Désormais, les donateurs potentiels peuvent s’adresser à
nous pour réaliser leurs projets. Nous
agissons comme intermédiaire entre
leurs projets et les organismes d’utilité
publique actifs dans les domaines visés. La Fondation a été constituée avec
un apport de 50 % de l’État et 50 % de
l’œuvre Nationale de Secours GrandeDuchesse Charlotte.
Vous êtes une fondation
« abritante ».
20_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6
© Andy/J. Mura
Pourquoi a été créée
la Fondation de Luxembourg ?
You are a “shelter” foundation.
What does that mean?
It means that potential donors
do not need to set up a new
foundation of their own, often
regarded as a disproportionate
requirement which deters many
donors. Our status as a “shelter
foundation” allows donors to create
their own endowment structure in
the form of a sheltered foundation
within the Fondation de
Luxembourg, managed according
to their wishes and in complete
transparency. This brings them
all the advantages associated with
the creation of a public interest
foundation, but within a simplified
framework.
So are you a financial specialist?
I have a mixed background.
I began my career in 1990 with
the Monitoring Commission for
the Swedish Financial Sector,
before spending 6 years as a
diplomat with the Swedish ministry
of foreign affairs. I was then CEO
of Banco, a subsidiary of ABN
Amro specialising in sustainable
investments, before taking up the
role of manager of ABN AMRO
Bank in Luxembourg. I have also
sat on the board of directors
of “Transparency International
Sweden”, the Swedish
environmental protection agency,
and the Swedish Association
of Investment Funds.

The experience
Take a businessman who is completely exhausted
after an intense working week. Send him out on the
Luxembourg to Paris motorway on a Friday evening,
with a reservation at a trendy restaurant in the French
capital, accompanied by a charming companion.
Wait for him to fall asleep at a service station for the
perfect opportunity to try out the effects of a Red Bull!
First surprise, the drink is far more expensive than
Coca Cola. It gives off a strong odour of chewing
gum, rather perplexing the first time you experience it.
24_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6
It is slightly carbonated, and tastes a bit like an overly
sweet fizzy drink, but the effect is undeniable.
Tiredness seems to vanish, to be replaced by a feeling
of mild agitation lasting for a few hours. With 320 mg
of caffeine per litre, the appeal of the drink is clear.
This is more than double the concentration of a
traditional fizzy drink, slightly more than tea but less
than coffee. Combined with the low sugar content,
this makes the drink very attractive to students
during exam periods, night owls, drivers,
sportspeople… and tired businessmen.
The art of the buzz
Some people compare Dietrich Mateschitz
to Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson. However,
their methods are completely different.
While the Englishman is quick to take centre stage to
promote his products, the Austrian lets his drink take
the full glare of the media spotlight. Very few people
know what he looks like.
He uses this discretion to his advantage, allowing the
wildest rumours to circulate about Red Bull: creating
the “buzz”. For instance, the taurine used in the recipe
is not actually extracted from bulls’ testicles,
contrary to popular belief.
There is also no evidence thus far of the drink’s
aphrodisiac properties. The method is working
a treat: with consumers delighting in the craziest
rumours. Many converts even resorted
to smuggling supplies of the precious potion
when it was banned in France.
While journalists often find it difficult to verify
their information, this motivates them to write
about the product.

Hall of fame n Success Story
(red buffalo), he invested his savings in a 49%
share of a new company, carbonated the liquid,
redesigned the packaging and obtained authorisation
to market it in Austria. A catastrophic market study
may well have discouraged him: the colour, taste,
packaging: it was all wrong! What’s worse, there was
no existing market for this type of product. However,
the Austrian appeared to be satisfied and it was full
speed ahead. He anticipated the debate his product
would trigger, confident in his ability to raise its profile.
The first cartons were sold in 1987 in Salzburg.
The secret of success
The key to Mateschitz’s success can be summed up
in two points: 1. He invested 30% of his turnover in
advertising. 2. He did so ingenuously. Rather than
paying huge sums for classic advertising on television
and in newspapers, he staged events, benefiting from
the resulting free media coverage.
In 1991, he organised the “Red Bull Flugtag” in Vienna,
with a prize for the person who managed to fly furthest
in a home-made machine. This proved a global
success. He went on to sponsor many extreme sports
personalities in order to link his brand with a “lifestyle”.
Building on this success, he organised increasingly
spectacular events, dreaming up mind-blowing
new disciplines such as “Air Races”, plane races
staged in cities, and “Crashed ICE”, ice skating races
through city streets. Taking his place among the major
players in the industry, with annual sales of several
billions of bottles, he ended up sponsoring
champions: Sébastien Loeb, rally world champion,
Lindsay Vonn ski champion, etc... He currently owns
two Formula 1 stables – Red Bull and Toro Rosso –,
Le coup de génie
The master stroke
Looking back, successes such as Microsoft,
Ikea or Google appear logical. The right concept
at the right time… In the case of Red Bull, it’s down to
the talent of Dietrich Mateschitz. Marketing Manager
for the Blendax toothpaste brand, he first came across
energy drinks back in 1982, during a trip to Asia.
In this part of the world, they are packaged in dark
bottles, a bit like medicines, and sales are strong.
When he found out that one of Blandax’s partners
owned such a drink, called “Kreating Daeng”
26_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6

World Stunt Award » au nom bien choisi.
one NASCAR team and two football teams,
in Salzburg and New York.
The billionaire also makes lots of daring investments:
he purchased an island close to Fiji from the Forbes
family where he set up “Hangar 7”, a very
innovative, multi-functional concept at Salzburg
airport. He also organises the appropriately
named “Taurus World Stunt Award”.
This is the world’s top event for the craziest
stunts, featuring regular appearances by his friend
Arnold Schwartzenegger.
28_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6
In France, the distribution of Red Bull was banned
until 2008 due the presence of taurine and
glucuronolactone. As soon as authorisation was
granted, the commercial bulldozer went into action:
an invasion of cars sporting the brand colours
in Paris, a base jump from the Eiffel Tower,
a trial on the building of a roof in La Défense.
One minister, naïve in the ways of modern marketing,
warned consumers about the dangers of the drink,
as a precautionary measure. Thus giving the brand
millions of euros in free publicity.
Under the sign of the bull
Dietrich Mateschitz‘s star sign seems to be an
additional advertising stroke. Having said this,
the extremely powerful marketing strategy is not just
for show: it’s an absolute necessity. Coca Cola,
Pepsi and other giants have set out in pursuit.
Think back to how these major players penetrated the
water market, in particular with Dasani and Aquafina.
However, they appear powerless against the Austrian
so far. He is maintaining his lead by billions,
constantly coming up with new concepts.
He has even launched Red Bull Cola. On Sunday 19
April 2009, his competitors were dealt a severe blow:
Red Bull notched up a double record at the Chinese
Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Not content with having two cars take the first two
places, Dietrich Mateschitz also had a Toro Rosso
finishing in the points. 19 points in one day in the key
discipline of sports marketing. An all-time record.
In universities, as well as drinking Red Bull,
students are now being taught the marketing
methods used by its creator.

Communication 2.0

Communication 2.0
The emergence of numerous

impossible. The old way of waking up
the communication manager at three

with a lost opportunity: the precious

As for the internet, how can you validate

were glad to fill.

The highly-secure MyOfficialStory tool
is accessible from any computer in

of the upstream validation of the content

This encourages a strong but controlled
communication, downstream. Validated
articles can be channelled to a broad
spectrum of media but authorized users,
throughout the year. Instead of trying
to prevent its personnel from expressing
themselves, the managers now create
a positive dynamic. The company

Ambassadeur n Rencontre
En 40 ans de carrière, il a
longtemps officié aux États-Unis
mais aussi en Afrique ou dans
les Caraïbes et, depuis 2005,
au Luxembourg. Rencontre
venait de déclarer à la presse : « You are a disaster ».

34_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6
Edouard Malayan:
the art of diplomacy
His 40 years of service have taken
him on an extended trip to the
United States, as well as Africa
and the Caribbean. He moved to
Luxembourg in 2005. A meeting
with the Russian ambassador.
The impressionist school
Edouard Malayan learned English and
French by reading books about the
impressionist painters. Fascinated by
Van Gogh and Renoir, the young
Edouard devoured these exotic books
sent to him by friends outside the
Soviet Union. He felt that he was not
talented enough to make his mark
as a painter, but would have liked
to have become an art critic. However,
in diplomacy he found a path that
combined his desire to travel with
the practice of an art he excelled at:
persuasion.
First posts
Posted to Washington from 1973 to
2000, he could write a book about
all his experiences. For example,
he was in the front row at Hyde Park,
Roosevelt’s birthplace in the north of
New York state, when Bill Clinton burst
out laughing. Boris Yeltsin had just
declared to the press: “You are
a disaster”. It was Mr Malayan the
Russian President turned to for an
explanation. In the course of his duties,
he has met all the American presidents,
from Nixon to George W. Bush.
His only son, who was born in
Washington, has followed in his father’s
footsteps: after a four-year posting
in his home town, he now holds
the position his father once filled
in Moscow, 40 years ago.
The embassy at Beggen
The renovation works at Beggen castle
have just been completed. The home
of the Russian embassy since 1956,
the building was partly destroyed by
students that same year, in reaction to
events in Budapest. Until very recently,
some old ceramics and a superb
mosaic still bore the scars of these
incidents. The renovation works have
removed these traces and have also
revealed some hidden gems,
concealed behind thick wallpaper and
poorly designed partitions. Woodwork
and marble have been restored to their
former glory. Edouard Malayan is an
enthusiastic host, happy to have been
able to experience history in the
making and to have had a chance
to share his ideas, even in the worst
moments.

With 92 active members, the
Luxembourg-Horizon Rotary Club is a
shining example of vitality and energy,
as it prepares to celebrate its thirtieth
anniversary.
Initiatives
The club’s charter was issued on 29 November
1980, under the auspices of its founding
president, André Schwachtgen. Over the last
three decades, the actions of its members have
been distinguished by the adoption of two of
their initiatives at a national level: “Zesummen
Ennerwee” (travelling together) is an opportunity
for Rotarians and their families to spend a
day with individuals of all ages with various
disabilities. They take part in activities such as a
boat trip, an initiation flight or a pony trek. While
“Päerdsatelier” was launched to give children
suffering from cancer the chance to spend a
week in a horse riding centre, where they can
learn how to ride and look after the horses.
Distinguished members
The club currently has 92 members, including
1 honorary member. It was sponsored by
the Luxembourg-Kiem Rotary Club when it
was created. An interesting fact, district 1630,
which includes 84 clubs distributed between
Luxembourg and part of Belgium, recently
saw two governors emerge from the ranks
of RC Horizon. Luce Emringer held the post
from 2002-2003 and Dony Calmes took over
in 2008-2009. Further proof of the club’s
energy and vitality! However, thirty years after
its creation, an increase in the average age of
members is only natural. The club is currently
recruiting young people in order to maintain its
momentum.
National actions
Most national initiatives are aimed at children
living in difficult situations. Kannerduerf de
Mersch (www.kannerduerf.lu) and Kannerland
(www.csse.lu) receive regular support. One of
the members of the club, an author and actor,
launched the “Theatre in Hospital” initiative
to comfort sick children. A whole range of
other initiatives take place all year round. At
an international level, the main project funds
a reception centre in Vietnam. 20,000 euros
have been invested this year, in combination
with a micro-loan action. Funding is gathered
from sales of postcards and calendars, sales
of meals at the “braderie” clearance sale and
through donations.

District 113
900 people are involved in Luxembourg’s
21 Lions Clubs, which have been working
to help the most disadvantaged
members of our society since 1953.
Luxembourg
History
“Lionism” can be compared to an association
of friends who commit to voluntarily helping
those in need. Established in the United States
in 1917, the organisation consists of 45,000
clubs in 200 countries throughout the world.
It is this Service Club that was responsible
for the introduction of white sticks in 1930,
under its flagship “Sight First” programme.
This far-reaching initiative works to combat
visual impairments and avoidable blindness,
and provides assistance to individuals with
visual handicaps. International efforts have
helped to restore sight or avoid blindness
for more than 27 million people, and have
provided 80.5 million treatments against
onchocerciasis. Its ultimate aim is to
eradicate avoidable blindness. However,
the association’s activities also include actions
aimed at combating drug addiction, deafness,
diabetes, cancer and more. Although it covers
a very wide scope, the Lions have access to
an impressive set of tools to achieve their aims.

The Foundation
The “Lions Clubs International Foundation” is
the charitable vehicle for the global association.
It addresses humanitarian needs which go
beyond the normal remit of the local Lions
Clubs. For example, its actions help to build
hospitals and assist individuals with disabilities,
as well as triggering emergency aid in the event
of natural disasters. In 1990, a “Fondation Lions
Luxembourg” was set up, under the high
patronage of His Royal Highness Grand-Duke
Jean. As an association of recognised public
interest, the donations it receives are taxdeductible for donors.

Jardin Secret :
A Luxembourg rose was recently
found in Japan… No surprise
for those who know of this
Luxembourg tradition.
les amis
de la Rose
Petals on stones
Introduced in the early XIXth century by
the Empress Josephine, rose growing
became increasingly popular over the
course of the century. In 1855, two
citizens of Luxembourg, Jean Soupert
and Pierre Notting, embarked upon
the adventure of creating new roses.
History gave the entrepreneurs
a helping hand. In 1867, the Treaty
of London resulted in the dismantling
of the fortress of Luxembourg, freeing
up many areas for planting around
Luxembourg. De nombreux espaces
deviennent exploitables autour de la rue
de la Faïencerie.
L’âge d’or de la Rose
Grand-Ducale
Dès 1856, Soupert & Notting obtiennent
un grand succès avec leurs obtentions
rosières : « Tour de Malakoff », « Duc de
Constantine », …
national d’exportation.

Many gardeners in Luxembourg
followed their lead, making roses the
country’s number one export. At one

giving rise to the title “Luxembourg,

from Luxembourg operated all over

qu’actuellement.

Les Bordes : American by design
With a reputation as one of the most
extraordinary golf courses in the world,
Les Bordes is all set to launch
ambitious developments to raise its
standards even further.
Baron Marcel Bich
Although inaugurated as recently as 1987,
the Bordes course nevertheless gives those
privileged enough to discover it the
impression of a centuries-old haven of
seclusion and tranquillity. Nestling deep in
the Sologne forest in the Loire Valley, the
estate created by Baron Marcel Bich,
inventor of the famous ballpoint pen, and his
friend, the Japanese businessman Yoshiaki
Sakurai, has the feel of a hidden sanctuary
stamped by the hallmark of luxury, peace
and intense pleasure. The course, designed
by the American architect Robert von
Hagge, has constantly been ranked among
the golfing world’s masterpieces, the
famous Peugeot Golf Guide going so far as
to give it the maximum mark of 19 out of 20.
Designed initially for the pleasure of the two
owners and of their friends, the Bordes
course has long since been open to external
players, subject to quite a hefty green fee.
But the death of the Baron in 1994 and
of Mr Sakurai ten years later, prompted
the latter’s family to sell this gem to a group
of British investors in March 2008.
Three courses over 700 hectares
In order to cover the around three million
euros of annual operating costs, these
investors are seeing the bigger picture. After
Les Bordes, the new owners have bought
the neighbouring estates of Bel Air and
Ganay, which boast a chateau and a golf
course respectively. The future resort,
with a surface area of 700 hectares, will be
designed to offer an unforgettable golfing
experience of a standard equivalent to the
existing course. Robert von Hagge has thus
been approached to build a new 27-hole
course on the Bel Air estate and a part of
the current Ganay golf course. The two
courses, Ganay and Bel Air will be open to
all and of an equal quality to Bordes, the
latter remaining reserved only to a limited
number of members.
A luxury hotel complex
Norman Foster, the architect behind the
famous Millau Viaduct, has been invited to
create a 5-star hotel complex of 140 rooms,
residences, a spa and other sporting and
leisure facilities, all respecting the
environment and complying with the rustic
elegance of the existing cottages. The future
members of the Bordes will thus have the
opportunity to become owners of new
exclusive residences. The ambitious project,
which will take a few years to complete, will
create over 350 jobs, six times more than
currently employed.

BNP PARIBAS SECURITIES
SERVICES has the wind in its sails
Despite a stormy economic
context, BP2S is giving its on-going
support to the “Spi Dauphine”
yacht race, intent on riding out the
storm on the crest of the wave.
From sailing to business
In 1985, while “sailing through” a
Master’s in “accounting and financial
sciences and techniques” at ParisDauphine university, Geoffroy Bazin
took over the helm of the Spi Dauphine
Challenge, a yacht race created four
years earlier by the prestigious
university. Only 20 years old at the time,
he was put in charge of the organisation
of a regatta that had the wind in its sails,
attracting around one hundred yachts
to the Mediterranean, jointly freighted
by students and corporate sponsors.
It was at this precise moment that
he discovered a certain taste for
management: an attraction for
challenges, calculated risks and team
spirit are values shared by the world
of yachting and that of business.
Stormy waters
In the current economic climate,
renewing the partnership with the race
allows BP2S to better promote its
businesses while at the end of the day
facilitates the recruitment of bright new
talents. Whereas many companies are
cutting down on their events budget,
the renewed participation of the
companies above all sends out a strong
signal to the market. For Geoffrey Bazin,
it is in the current circumstances that
this type of event is worth doing:
“We have to show a sense of initiative,
know how to manage the risks,
anticipate them. The regatta is based
on competition, you have to steer
a course. This sport conveys values that
reflect those of BP2S: determination,
excellence, a sense of organisation,
communication, sharing. Precious
values, and never more so than in the
current crisis”.
Paribas Securities Services ! ».

The closer, the better
The closer, the better
The BP2S motto, “The closer, the
better” is so much in line with sailing
that the commitment to the Spi
Dauphine could well become a lasting
partnership. Over the next few years,
the six businesses of the Investment
Solutions division could be associated
with this event in order to create a
federating and transversal sporting
event, a source of teamwork within
the division. In the meantime, we wish
all the best to the “Team BNP Paribas

Fonds Islamiques
au Luxembourg
Une demande croissante pour les Fonds Islamiques
s’exerce au Moyen Orient et ailleurs. Luxembourg,
centre financier d’excellence, est idéalement placé
pour leur croissance.
Que sont les Fonds
Islamiques ?

52_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6
Investi d’une expérience considérable
en prévention du blanchiment d’argent,
le Luxembourg offre donc un antidote
aux craintes éventuelles qui pourraient
se manifester dans certains quartiers
quant à ces risques. Luxembourg offre,
Islamic Funds in Luxembourg
Throughout the Middle East and in
many parts of the world, there is
a great demand for Islamic Funds.
Luxembourg, a centre of excellence,
is therefore the natural place for
a major expansion of this activity.
What are Islamic Funds
Islamic Funds are simply investment
funds invested in according to Muslim
precepts, broadly put in proscription
of interest bearing instruments,
and investments in companies engaged
in activities shunned by Islam such
as gambling, alcohol, weaponry,
entertainment.
In practice this means companies who
are in the food industry are usually
forbidden (pork), as well as beverage
(inevitably they have alcohol in their
portfolio), and hotels and cinema
production (gambling and entertainment),
to name but a few. There are other rules
such as not investing in companies
leveraged at more than 30%, etc.
Structurally, the only sensible difference
in an IF is the presence of a Shariae
Compliance Board, a group of experts
in Islamic Law who will typically meet
quarterly, critically review the investment
portfolio, and identify non-compliant
stocks. These have to be divested and
the proceeds sent to an Islamic charity.
Why Luxembourg
While its considerable experience
in preventing money laundering
and terrorism financing will allay any fears
that may arise in certain quarters,
Luxembourg, a financial place regulated
in the strictest way, will provide ideal
protection for future investors who will
know their funds are safe, vigilantly
watched by the CSSF. The vast array
of financial instruments available
in Luxembourg, coupled to the presence
of an attentive, flexible, and reactive
authority will satisfy practically all the
needs of potential promoters and
investors alike.
The future
In the wake of the financial crisis
that shook confidence in finance,
Luxembourg can provide and ideal haven
for weary investors. Its expertise in private
banking and an administration not only
attuned to the financial sector’s needs
but also a frequent pioneer out of the
staid course in general and in Funds
in particular, provides an ideal ground
for development. Islamic Funds are after
all just Funds, and with the powerful
combination of the authorities, the banks
of Luxembourg, Alfi, and the Institute,
we have an optimal winning equation.

54_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6
Marc Assous : little big man
When he is forced to wear a tie, Marc
Assous swears that he has not put
one on since he was thirteen …. He
nevertheless ties a perfect knot at the
first attempt, without apparent effort.
The science of experience
Marc Assous set up the Golf Fair and the
Tennis Fair with the same flair as when he
knots a tie: he depends on his experience
to thwart expectations. With his stocky
build and his Mediterranean verve,
he does not exactly embody the type
of businessman that you would imagine
holding court in the upmarket universe
of Saint-Nom-La-Breteche or RolandGarros. By creating the Paris Golf Fair
in 2007, he nevertheless made French
golfing history: with 30,000 visitors it was
the perfect approach shot. Two years
later, he passed the 50,000 mark and
created a second fair dedicated to tennis.
The French exception
An understanding of French society is
necessary to grasp this achievement in
full: in every country, golf reflects the local
culture. In England, it is social, in Sweden,
it is sporting, in the United States, it is
Business and in France it is bourgeois.
Those who do not play golf claim that
it is a rich man’s sport and those who do
play are persuaded of the contrary.
This is a typically French paradox
that illustrates the complex relationship
that the French have with money
and success. On his own admission,
Marc would probably have failed if he had
listened to the so-called experts.
The expected explosion
Until around 2000, everyone thought
that all it would take would be the
emergence of a champion for golf to take
off in France. Jean-François Remesy,
an elegant and amenable champion
then won the French Open… two times
running. Nothing happened. He can walk
down the Champs-Élysées without
triggering a riot. The press literally ignored
his performance for the reasons given
above: the image of golf in France
does not sell.
In this context, Marc Assous’ hard work
offers a glimmer of hope that the golf
“Business” will take off in France. The
potential is huge: simply look at nearby
Germany, Asia or America. In these
countries, showing your face on the
fairways and above all “being a member
of a club” is a status symbol that is envied.
The players compete to be the most
elegant and spend big sums to satisfy
their need for sport in the open air
and the high-level socialising…
Without any complex.

Controlling your media image:
the 3 golden rules
Internet has brought down both the cost and
effort of funding a mud-slinging campaign.
Any old competitor or employee, or even a
jealous onlooker, can have a go while keeping
their own identity a mystery. But the time has
come to fight back.
1. Monitor the media
If you have skeletons in your cupboard, then no
method will allow you come out with your reputation
intact. On the other hand, if slanderous rumours
start to circulate, then solutions are at hand. These
rumours tend to spread simply because nothing is
done to contradict them. Like a cancer, they are
often detected too late, which makes it difficult to
trace them back to their source. The best
counterattack is to turn the weapon against the
detractors: remember to “Google” yourself every
week to keep track of the photos and texts relating
to you. The Californian company has also come up
with a new free service allowing you to be alerted as
soon as an article is published about you:
www.google.fr/alerts
2. Take control
Several companies, such as “Reputation Defender”
promise to delete incorrect Internet content.
However, experience tells us that this is impossible.
The photos of Nikki Catsouras’ accident, which
brought the young start-up into the spotlight in the
first place, are still accessible at the click of a button.
Rather than delete, the most productive method is
to publish authorised content in targeted media. The
current reference in the field, MyOfficialStory, allows
any individual or company to create their own
articles free of charge and offers personalised
internet addresses for less than 5 euros a month.
The most efficient method of circulation is without a
doubt email – as it makes it possible to identify the
recipients – and internet sites, but this is only worth
while in conjunction with publications on influential
blogs or in print media. Remember to reference
your articles on specialised sites such as
www.ezinearticles.com , www.goarticles.com,
or www.articledashboard.com
3. Launch your attack
Wary of “protesting too much” as Shakespeare
famously put it, many still allow their reputation to be
dragged through the mud while waiting for things to
die down. Nicolas Sarkozy is one person who
would surely opt for the adage “attack is the best
form of defence”. He would probably never have
made it to French President had the manoeuvre of
the Clearstream affair remained unpunished. David
Cameron, the leader of the British Conservative
Party only just survived a violent smear campaign
engineered by Damian McBride, an aide to Gordon
Brown. Systematically request a correction or standdown when the information is incorrect in the media
and study the legal action that can be brought
against deliberately slanderous comments on a
case by case basis. Remember the essential rule:
a person whose reputation has already been
tarnished becomes an easier target for rumour.

In Luxembourg, being a ward of the
state does not prevent you from
becoming head of PROFIL, and of the
country’s banking association, ABBL.
Growing up in the post-war period
Born in 1945, ever since he was a child
Jean Meyer has cherished a deep desire
to prove his worth. A member of the
Resistance, his father was deported to
Hinzert concentration camp in 1943.
He was liberated in 1945, but died soon
afterwards as a result of his ordeal.
His widow therefore had to assume
responsibility for the education of their two
children. The absence of his father proved
particularly painful for Jean at times when
he felt the need for paternal advice. Henri
Delvaux, a lawyer who worked with wards
of the state, suggested that he pursue
a career in law. A young doctor of law,
in 1971 Jean joined the Banque Générale
du Luxembourg as a lawyer, where he has
remained ever since, under the bank’s
various changes of name.
A straight path
Jean Meyer’s career embraces the
Luxembourg values of discipline and
perseverance. He has known just one
employer, fulfilling, at the end of the 1980s,
a dream that had eluded him in his youth
due to lack of resources: studying at
Harvard, Stanford and Wharton. His role
models are Warren Buffet and Karl Icahn
for their common sense, as well as his
father-in-law Constant Franssens, one
of the founding fathers of the financial
market. His wife, Joanna, has managed to
focus his energy and natural lack of order.
He has relatively few friends among his
many acquaintances. Regarding his wife
as his most faithful partner, he confesses
to falling for her charm year after year.
“It’s later than you think”
1998 was a year of change. Fortis
launched its raid on the BGL and, on
17 June, Jean Meyer’s son Bruce was run
over by a driver who failed to stop at a
sign. To grieve for his child despite an
omnipresent professional life, he plunged
himself into his work and books.
In response to the fatalism that this ordeal
created, he has a very clear view on the
central values of an existence. Focused
on the future, he considers Luxembourg’s
prospects or his own life with objectivity.
Recent financial events have proved him
right. When he wants to get away from it
all, he goes to his family: his grandson,
William, was born on 17 August 2008.
He also loves his dogs and likes setting off
for a few days to Crans, his second home,
where he is a life member of the golf club.
Only his passions are multiple.

Passion as a business
Carlo still has vivid memories
of the Tour de France passing through
Luxembourg when he was a child.
A policeman at the age of 22,
he soon left public service to take up
the position of purchasing manager
with Computerland Europe. In his free
time, he got involved in motorcycle
touring in Morocco and built up his
stamina by taking up marathon running.
In 1990, he was a member of the first
Luxembourg team in the Raid Gauloise
in Costa Rica, finishing 12th after racing
for 8 days and 16 hours! His thirst
for adventure was unabated: he turned
his hobby into a business, setting up
New Spirit the following year.
crée New Spirit l’année suivante.

famous PriceWaterhouseCoopers

However, a fall three days before
the finish put him in a wheelchair for
three months. Undeterred, he went on
to organise a staff day for 800 people
at Kockelscheuer ice rink and win
the UAE desert challenge in a rally car.
In 2002, he discovered the Mill
at Altwies. It was love at first sight.
He purchased it, renovated it and
made it his workplace. More than

galerie d’art. Tables magnifiées par les
porcelaines de Limoges des plus grands :
Raynaud, Haviland, Hermes, Coquet…

Molitor displays its table wares
Push open the door of the jeweller
Molitor and enter into a world
governed by beauty : it has all the
hallmarks of tradition, one that is
passed down from generation to
generation. And today, Molitor brings
this dazzling tradition to your table.
Environment and classicism
A family company, a renowned name,
Molitor a jeweller and watchmaker with a
prime location at the heart of the old town of
Luxembourg since 1897, has made its
passion for elegance the cement of its walls,
the cultivation of luxury its garden. While the
façade of the beautiful bourgeois house,
situated only 100 metres from the Palace,
has retained its cachet of authenticity, the
entirely renovated interior makes the century
old boutique an exquisite jewel case with
impeccable finishes. Between breathtaking
jewels and intricate works of engineering,
the ideal and serene surroundings of the
Molitor boutique invites a clientele that
appreciate the good things in life to be
tempted… on the advice of the specialists.
Beauty as heritage
Intimately convinced that luxury is here to
stay, the master watchmaker Jacques
Molitor and his wife, official purveyors to the
Courts since 1967, are today keeping alive a
tradition that has been in their family for over
a century. Driven by the same enthusiasm
and the same professionalism, the couple
abides by the four key words of the
founders: quality, tradition, continuity,
confidence. But they have also added a
new demand: injecting diversity into their
top-of-the range product lines.
Entertaining in style
Therefore, two years ago, Molitor unveiled a
new space devoted to tableware, only a few
metres from the main boutique. This 250m2
showcase, which is regularly redecorated,
truly does appeal to all the senses. It could
almost be mistaken for an art gallery rather
than a point of sale. Tables glittering with the
crystal creations of Lalique, Baccart or the
Daum art editions, tables weighed down by
the cutlery and silverware collections of
Christofle, Ercuis and Puiforcast, tables
reverently holding up the greatest Limoges
porcelain: Raynau, Haviland, Hermes,
Coquet. These are all new luxury prestige
names for Molitor and already a Mecca
for future brides and their wedding lists.
Thus, guided by Ariane’s golden thread, it
continues to propose the most sought-after
of names while advising its clientele with
good taste and intelligence.
A prestige that reinforces the position
and attraction of the city of Luxembourg
amongst the highest European spheres
of refinery and perfection.

pour dames
Il est des hommes sous influence. Une mère et trois
sœurs pour modèle, Christian Louboutin, chantre
du talon haute-couture, a grandi par imprégnation
dans un univers ultra féminin. Il en a tiré le meilleur.
Escarpin interdit

Londres, L.A., Hong-Kong, … Partagé
entre ses fabriques en Italie, les ateliers
de création en France, et toutes ses
destinations professionnelles, Louboutin
Some men grow up in a world of women.
Surrounded by a mother and three
sisters, Christian Louboutin, the
champion of the haute-couture shoe,
grew up immersed in an ultra-feminine
environment. He put his inside knowledge
to good use.
A young street urchin is fascinated one day by a
sign he notices on the walls of a Paris museum.
The image of this high heeled shoe slashed out
by a red line niggles at him, never leaves him.
Drawn by strange and sensual environments,
the same boy then discovers on his exploration
of theatres and music halls a universe peopled
with dancers, Venus-like, charming and
eccentric. The time comes to make a choice,
the only possible choice: he, Christian
Louboutin will create shoes for all these beautiful
creatures. As he learns his trade, the young
creator falls under the charm of haute-couture
and earns his entrance ticket into this prestige
universe through partnerships with Frison,
Chanel or Saint-Laurent. By launching his own
brand in 1992, this ladies’ man continues on his
drive to exult the legs of his muses with the
finest attire. His brand became an overnight
success.
A shoe for each outfit
This creative genius, who imagines women
naked to create his shoes, dreams up
imaginative and daring ventures with jewellers
such as Swarovski or luxury patissiers such as
Ladurée. All his creations are stamped with a
style so unique, so humorous and so sexy that
each Louboutin is an invitation to temptation.
Chasing the ultimate in glamour, the eyegrabbing red sole, the simple lines and the
impeccable finishes of his shoes perpetuate the
tradition of luxury, designed with one aim in
mind: to seduce. From Nicole Kidman to
Madonna, from Dita Von Teese to Sofia
Coppola, these precious objects can be
admired on the most sublime stars on the
international celebrity circuit.
More than trends, Christian Louboutin is
inspired by the universes and continents that he
comes across. An artist by nature, the designeraesthete teamed up with other strange talents,
such as David Lynch for the exhibition Fetish in
2007, where the filmmaker immortalised his
unique collection of fetishist shoes.
These shoes were made for walking
From Paris, the Louboutin brand has been
exported world wide: New York, London, LA,
Hong Kong. Dividing his time between his
factories in Italy, the creative workshops in
France and all his professional destinations,
Louboutin never forgets that first shoe image
which caught his imagination. He continues to
draw by hand his red soled creations, the
exclusive symbol of his company, in the Parisian
tradition of quality and prestige. Making a lot of
well-heeled women very happy along the way.

temps.
intuitive. Sa trajectoire évoque d’ailleurs
68_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6
43 heures. Au dos du boitier, un tableau
de contrôle conçu par Urwerk propose
un indicateur de réserve de marche, un
chronomètre et une vis de régulation
permettant un réglage fin du mouvement. Du grand art qu’un bracelet en
Alligator noir ne fait que rehausser.
A code name
Urwerk watches are the result of a
meeting in 1995 between a master
watchmaker and a talented designer.
Together, Felix Baumgartner, the son
and grandson of master watchmakers,
and Martin Frei created their own
vision of time. In the very crowded
world of watch-making and clocks,
they had the insight to choose an
exceptional name: UR is a town in
Mesopotamia whose inhabitants
defined the first unit of time by
watching the shadows cast on their
houses by the sun. They thus laid the
foundations of a measurement system
that still endures today. The German
word “WERK” refers to the “work” of
master watchmakers over the
centuries, searching for the perfect
mechanism that is capable of
measuring time without deforming it.
Heritage
The two designers did not start out
with a blank page. They drew their
inspiration from the Campanus Night
Clock, created in 1652 with a
mechanism based on a system of
satellites. The movement of one of
these satellites in front of the minute
track allows you to tell the time in a
very intuitive way. Its movement is
reminiscent of the sun’s path as it
approaches the horizon. With a face of
60 minutes squeezed into an angle of
barely 90 degrees, the watch turns its
satellites four times slower than the big
hand on a traditional clock. Since its
launch in 1997, the brand has
remained true to this unique style,
while developing an infinite range of
sophistications, not only in terms of the
mechanism, but also via the use of
precious alloys, such as gold, platinum
and titanium.
UR103T
The T in model UR103T may seem
mysterious at first glance. However, if
you look closely at the watch, you will
see a moving shape. The heart of the
103T is in fact inspired by a spider.
The “T” stands for tarantula. The
manual wind-up mechanism provides
a power reserve of 43 hours. On the
back of the case, a control panel
designed by Urwerk includes a power
reserve indicator, a stopwatch and an
adjustment screw for fine tuning of the
movement. Great art enhanced by a
black Alligator strap.

luxembourgeoise « L’Ancre d’Or » que
Luxembourg.
70_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6
s’installer au Luxembourg après avoir
failli devenir footballeur professionnel
Brumi: a taste of Italy
The restaurant Brumi, which
opened in Luxembourg in February
2009, is just like its owner Mimmo
Brugetti: warm, modern and true
to Italy’s rich culinary tradition.
A dream
The Italian restaurant “Brumi”, whose
name is inspired by that of its owner,
Mimmo Brugetti, opened on 12
February on the site of the famous
Luxembourg brasserie “L’ancre d’Or”.
It took a year and a half of work,
directed by architect Claudius
Panaitescou, to create a concept that
is both modern and warm. “For me,
opening a business in town was a way
of publicising and passing on my
philosophy,» explains Mimmo Brugetti,
a native of Southern Italy who has been
living in Luxembourg for almost thirty
years. “In a way, I have achieved my
dream of opening a restaurant that
reflects my way of thinking”. And the
chef cooks up some typically Italian
fare: flavoursome, refined and sunny.
Professional footballer
As sunny as Puglia, “a Mediterranean
region where the sun, sea and local
cooking make you forget everything
else”. Mimmo Brugetti was born there
in 1960 and grew up, like any selfrespecting Italian, with a love of good
food and football. After finishing his
studies in 1980, he moved to
Luxembourg, after having almost
become a professional footballer in Italy
and in Metz. In the end, Mimmo did not
turn his passion for calcio into a career.
He could have been a doctor, but
instead he opted for cookery, opening
the “Luna d’Oro”, his first pizzeria in
Buggen, in 1989 together with a friend.
This was followed by a second in
Schifflange, “La Formica”, which he still
runs today, and finally “Brumi” in the
Luxembourg capital. “I have always
wanted to be independent in
everything I do, but I never really
imagined that I could achieve that
in catering,» he smiles, «in the end,
it’s my world».
“Never let your customers down”
All this does not prevent Mimmo
Brugetti from being proud of the
success of his latest restaurant, where
he has managed to create a friendly
and family atmosphere. “What is my
business philosophy? Never let your
customers down,” he states.
The best proof of this is to treat
yourself to a gastronomic visit to
the «Brumi», a sunny enclave of Puglia
in Luxembourg.

Becker’s
Becker’s : from the vine to the stars

Sustainable development
Wolfgang Becker is a down-to-earth man in
every way. A businessman who takes time
to polish ideas, bring projects to maturity
and to build a reputation. A simple walk
in his own vineyards, early in the morning,
fills him with happiness. His family has been
making wine for 5 generations. They opened
a Weinstube in 1978, in order to better
promote their wines. The young Wolfgang
quickly found his way to the kitchen. Inspired
by his grandmother, who had a talent for
lovingly concocting delicious recipes from
whatever was available, he decided to study
to become a chef and a winemaker, learning
the ropes from renowned chefs such as
Harald Wohlfahrt and Hubi Scheid. When
the Michelin guide awarded him his first star
in 2000, he had the bright idea of creating
a setting that would do justice to his
gastronomic creations.

While the old Weinstube is still standing, it is
today adjoined by an impressive stone and
glass building. The 30 ultra-modern rooms
combine wood, slate and transparency.
The unmistakable hospitality of the winemaker is omnipresent yet underlined by a
modern and authentic style. The minimalist
wine bar proposes the house wines but
also the best vintages selected by the
owner. The restaurant does not have an
“a la carte” menu but a gastronomic menu
that is renewed twice a month to surprise
his regulars or win over first-timers.
The art of blending
Wolfgang Becker is a master in the art
of combining the best elements, whether
to create a wine, a dish or a great evening.
He does not shy away from innovating
or risk-taking, as illustrated by the share
system he has created, allowing investors
to invest their money in an original way
to say the least: the 8% yield can be
consumed on the spot! He regularly
organises themed evenings, such as the
Literary Dinner… and the idea has taken off.
The restaurant has becoming a real talking
point among the local foodies. Word has
also spread to fans of Design Hotels
and Gault Millau readers. At 120 euros
per person a night for a luxurious
43-metre suite, certain businessmen
even choose Becker’s for their business

is only 30 minutes away. Just enough time
to fondly recollect the previous evening’s
culinary sensations.

Francis Piraux :
Francis Piraux :
A taste for excellence
l’excellence
74_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6
baptisée In Vino Veritas.
clients. Ses pérégrinations l’emmènent
ainsi de Bourgogne en Beaujolais, en
passant par l’Alsace, le Bordelais, le
Languedoc ou la Vallée de la Loire ;
In
vino veritas…
Fascination
Nothing presaged that Francis Piraux and
the world of wine would cross, neither his
family roots nor his education. Born in
1967 in Dinant in Southern Belgium, while
he may have grown up in the countryside
where the closeness of the farmers taught
him about tenacity, independence and
responsibility, he chose to study Greek
and Latin. In the country of beer, Francis
Piraux however fell in love with wine and
the mere sight of a label on a bottle would
transport him on a mental voyage of
discovery to the world of Bacchus. This
fascination prompted him to embark on a
new career path. To brush up on his
knowledge, he studied hotel and catering
and gradually got to know the names and
tastes of wines. He first started out as a
wine waiter in a few star-studded
restaurants.
A love story
A taste for independence and an
insatiable curiosity prompted Francis
Piraux to launch his own business :
“discover great wines for others”. In 1997
he opened his own company in Steinfort
in Luxembourg, christening it In Vino
Veritas. Wine courses, training, seminars,
gifts, cellar management, events,
marriage between food and wine: the
menu of services is rich and diversified, as
are the vintages that Francis Piraux
discovers and brings to the attention of his
clients. His travels also take him from
Burgundy to the Beaujolais, from Alsace
to Bordeaux, from the Languedoc to the
Loire Valley but nowhere is the attraction
as strong as in the Rhone Valley. On the
Jamet, Cuilleron, Villar or Coulet estates,
Francis Piraux indulges his taste for CôteRôtie, Cornas, Condrieu and SaintJoseph and more to the south, the
Cairanne, on the estate of the Oratoire
Saint-Martin.
Helping others to grow
While the early days were not easy,
Francis Piraux has gradually been able to
win the trust of the winegrowers. Today,
he helps them to grow while growing
himself, a business philosophy that he has
developed in contact with the
winegrowers. “The world of wine teaches
you to be modest,” he sums up. “We have
invented nothing. All we do is to bring out
the qualities of the winemakers and those
of the soil that they work”. In vino veritas…

Lunch with
Lunch with Keith O’Donnell
Since its reopening, Um Plateau has
become one of the top restaurants
for business lunches. We had lunch
there with the Managing Director
of Atoz.
Keith O’Donnell
Starter
Keith O’Donnell is one of those pleasant
guests with whom you can cover a whole
range of interesting conversational topics
without noticing the minutes tick past.
We can guess at his ministerial agenda,
but he has the grace not to give the
impression of rushing between important
meetings. Punctual and smiling, he has
the ability to clearly convey a complex idea
in just a few words. We talk about fly
fishing, a hobby that will shortly take him to
Iceland. He likes the absurd aspect of it all.
Salmon do not feed in rivers; no-one
knows why they swallow the bait!
He moves on to a succinct analysis
of the current crisis of confidence, before
touching on his watercolour painting. He
appears to be fascinated by the changing
effect of the paints on the wet paper.
“The result is never what you expected at
the outset, but that’s the whole attraction”.
Depuis sa réouverture, le restaurant Um Plateau
est devenu une des tables incontournables
pour un business lunch. C’est là que nous avons déjeuné
avec le managing director d’Atoz.
Keith O’Donnell fait partie des convives
agréables, avec qui vous égrénez les
sujets de conversation passionnants
sans voir le temps passé. On devine
80_ANDY A LUXEMBOURG #6
port, en plein centre ville. Aujourd’hui
Main course
If childhood has a taste, then his is oysters.
On holiday in Portugal, he used to save
the money his parents gave him to buy ice
cream, investing it all in a plate of molluscs
every three days. The special layout of the
city of Dublin also allowed his father to
regularly purchase shellfish at the port,
in the heart of the town centre. Today,
his tastes still tend towards the savoury:
when friends order dessert, he often
chooses a second starter to keep them
company. He enjoys cooking with his wife,
in particular a good leg of lamb or fish
with a salt crust washed down with
a Luxembourg Auxerrois.
Dessert
tant qu’adepte du « People Business »,

Keith O’Donnell enjoys French-style
business lunches. After a seasoned
tomato juice, he sips a glass of wine as he
chooses a crab gratin and a lamb shank,
followed by a double espresso. A great
believer in “people business”, he feels that
taking time out in a pleasant setting helps
to forge strong relationships with
customers or between the members
of his teams. He takes his time. His eyes
shine as he talks about the wide range
of opportunities within his reach and the
potential of Taxand, a worldwide network
that has already attracted more than 2000
high-level tax experts. After all, ambition
is one of Atoz’ values. We leave the table
replete, but we feel a huge appetite
for life and the challenges in store over
the coming years.
