Dear President,
The 1 st Golden Grand Prix Senior “27 th Vehbi Emre” Greco-Romen Wrestling Tournament will be held
on January 24 – 25, 2009 in ĐSTANBUL.
We have great honour to invite your national team composing 7 wrestlers, 1 coach, 1 head of delegation and
1 international referee. (Olympic Category and 1 st cat. Referees can be officiated) Total (10 persons)
INVITED COUNTRIES: AZE, BLR, BUL, CUB, GEO, HUN, IRI, KAZ, USA, UZB, ROM, RUS, UKR
Accommodations and meals between the 23 of January, 2009 to 26 of January, 2009 (breakfast) and local
transport (airport – hotel - hall) will be provided by Turkish Wrestling Federation.
**NON INVITED COUNTRIES AND EXTRA PERSONS FROM INVITED COUNTRIES WILL HAVE TO PAY
100 USD PER DAY PER PERSONS
The Tournament will take place in FILA Regulations on 3 mats recognized by FILA in the categories:
• Men
: 55 – 60 – 66 – 74 – 84 – 96 – 120 kgs.
• Tolerans
: 2 kgs.

Final entries
: before January 01, 2009
AWARDS
Organizing committee will be in charge of the individual awards for each weight category. Also, cash prize
will be given to the wrestlers who will take places in the first four wrestlers in each weight category in
Grand Prix. Medals will be awarded for the first four winners.

style concerned. Passed this deadline, no athlete will be allowed to participate.
