Description:
I already wrote about how much I HATED canned openers in the accompanying blog post. When I
first heard the Five Oceans opener I thought this one may be different because it actually stumped
me! When teaching and needing an opener that I could give a beginner, THIS is the one I used. It
actually works so well, I still use it. Next week I will share part 2 of the routine stack I use with
this.
Part 2
Adding the second part of this stack to this document, so you have part 1 above.
So the opener got the Pick Up Labs Stamp of Approval, which I knew it would. But how do you
transition from talking about the oceans to a DHV? Part 2 of the mission, after the opener is what I
came up with. After reading the transition, many should be able to guess what the DHV will be
about. So I want you guys to test it that far, then freestyle it on your own after. Part 3 will teach
you a sneaky magician’s trick that you can use instantly and for tons of other applications, then I
will show you how I began to DHV with the topic I hate the most. But it is so effective I had to give
in and eventually develop a way to use it, without actually learning anything about it! (Because I
hate it and am lazy)
Part 3
The Astrology DHV
What is the number 1 DHV you can talk to girls about? Astrology! Even women I meet who are
successful and have above average intelligence still buy into this stuff! Whether it has to do with
energy, fate, or the fact that something beyond her control led to her having sex, this stuff is the
most powerful chick crack I have seen or used. But what if you are like me and hate astrology?
How can segue into it, and how you DHV with this, if like me, you refuse to learn about it? Read on

I get asked this all the time. How do you find REAL reasons to be attracted to a girl besides her
looks? This part will teach you how to do that.

Rationale:
Anyone who took 1st grade geography should be able to answer this one. Unfortunately I have not
had one single person get this correct. I even had a 2nd grade school teacher argue this with me
insisting there were only four oceans, I felt bad for her students.
This opener is so basic, I have nor have I seen anyone get called out, and every single person in
set gets into it when they realize they don’t know them either. Then we have the transition which
along with the opener received the Pick Up Labs Stamp of Approval. Now I am adding my Astrology
routine which the ladies LOVE!
Instructions:
The thought of saying a line I really didn’t care about almost made me feel sick when starting out.
By following this script it will help deal with any problem you think you may run into and open the
group. The transition lets you rationalize to them why they don’t know the answer to the opener,
then it is DHV time with astrology, afterwards it is time to start building a connection. Go out and
test this routine stack in it’s entirely over the course of this weekend, post results back here before
Monday night.
The Five Oceans Opener:
“Hey guys I know this is going to be the weirdest question you get asked all night, but I need some
help. On the drive over here on the radio, they were doing that are you smarter than a 5th grader
thing and asked a question, not ONE person could answer it correctly, and I didn’t hear the final
answer, and it’s driving me crazy not knowing, like when you hear a song and can’t remember who
sings it, but anyways, what are the names of the five oceans?”
…..pause
“I know I know, it’s stupid, but I could only think of four.”
With this tactic, ripping on how stupid the question is before anyone else can, it is now out there
and once I started preemptively ripping on it, no one said it was a dumb question. I also added the
song part, because everyone knows how annoying that feeling is, and then can relate to my
problem
At this point people will begin to name off some oceans. They will repeat names, or say things like
the “Mediterranean Sea,” I then always point out that is a SEA or that they already said it.
So far I have NEVER had anyone correctly name all five. So after they are stumped I will say.
“Actually guys, I have a confession to make, I actually looked this up on my iPhone a few minutes
ago. I felt like an idiot for not knowing them, but thanks to you guys I don’t feel alone or so dumb
anymore LOL!

Ok here are all the names of the oceans.
Atlantic
Pacific
Indian
Arctic
And the Southern!”
This is when everyone looks around and says THE SOUTHERN???
“Ya the Southern! I actually would have accepted the Antarctic Ocean as well, they actually
changed the name of it to Southern and made it official. It’s stupid that they changed something
like that which we all learned in grade school!”
That is the end of the opener, next mission I will show you part 2 of the stack.
PART 2
Last night I used this, and the same issue that I constantly have to deal with popped up again. I
would come across people who were 100% sure there were only 4 oceans, and no matter what
wouldn’t listen to me.
So one night I came up with this to deal with that response.
Wait, there are only 4 oceans, you are wrong, there isn’t a SOUTHERN OCEAN! -girl
“Nope, there are five, they actually changed it, so it isn’t YOUR fault that you don’t know and you
got it wrong!
Just like how they changed it and Pluto is no longer considered a planet.”
As soon as I started adding this after the opener, people who before would not budge, started to
lighten up and agree that I may be correct. Also every single time I have said this, at least 1
person in the set, usually more, know this fact. So when the group agrees the pressure also helps
the person who doesn’t believe start to change their mind.
“Actually it is kind of funny, I remember back in school I actually wrote all the planets down on my
shoe and cheated on the test LOL.
Ya, they got rid of Pluto and were going to make a moon a planet, what was the name of the
biggest planet? Not Saturn, but…….”
JUPITER!
“Right, Jupiter, they were going to maybe make one of its moon’s a planet but didn’t”

That last line asking about the name of the planet, of course I know it is Jupiter, but I added that
to this stack when I noticed sometimes the attention from the set would begin to drop, this would
get them back into the conversation and feeling good because they answered it correct, it was so
smooth I use it all the time now.
“Ya, there was a reason I had to cheat on that test, LOL! But the one planet I could always
remember was Mars. The reason I could remember Mars is because Mars was Ares, the god of
war…..
That is the end of Part 2, the transition.
Like I wrote above, you should be able to guess where this is going. So you go from the oceans on
Earth, to how things changed since you were in school, to planets, and then name a few. To me
this made sense, this is how a conversation would progress and it didn’t seem like anything I was
saying later was coming out of left field.
I want to see where you guys take it, maybe you will come up with something better than I use.
Maybe not. Either way next week I will teach you one of my top secret moves, and another part of
this stack that is DHV GOLD!
Part 3
“And I AM an Aries!
Now I am talking about astrology. This works for me, because I am an Aries. If you are congrats,
you are cool like me. If not just say “because my friend is an Aries,” or “my (relative) is one”
anything to transition Ares god of war to Aries astrology.
“Wait, you aren’t a Scorpio are you?”
Possible answer #1 is
“YES”-HER
“You are, wow I can’t even talk to you anymore!”
Now I DQ the girl I am digging.
I ALWAYS go to Scorpio, because I have actually dated a lot of them, I did remember a little about
the sign. I also have a scorpion thumb ring which I show and say “it is to remind me to stay away
from them, always great in bed but have a touch of the crazy!”
But what happens if they say, “No I am not a Scorpio”?

My next line is a tip I got from magic, “you didn’t pick the 7 of hearts did you?” if they say yes, you
are good to go, if they say NO, you respond back with, “ya, I didn’t think so,” and no can have a
2nd guess!
“Ya I didn’t think so”
Then I pick another sign, most of the time I take a shot in the dark, but recently I began saying
Aries, because since it is MY sign, I know a little bit about it. Also if they are not a Scorpio, then I
guess Aries which is on the other side of the calendar chances are at least one of them is close to
their sign.
Because you actually get 2 guesses it is really a 1 in 6 chance to correctly name their sign.
However I am blown away at how many times I nail it on the first guess, which is still 1 in 12.
So right now, I only had to remember a few things about my sign and one I dated a lot of and
heard a shit load about. I never studied this. After a while, some of it stuck.
But what happens if they say NO on the 2nd guess? This is what I started running.
“hmmm, well what sign are you?”
They tell me, one of the other 10 for the following example let’s say they responded with
Sagittarius
“and which sign is that again?”
“the centaur, the archer” –HER
“the archer, ya that’s right. So you are the type of person who likes to travel and adventure, who
likes to sail smoothly through the air, and aims high”
“ya, I totally am like that!”- HER
So here is my secret. I don’t know all the signs, and don’t really care to know them! All I started
doing is straight up asking them what the name of their sign is, and then what it is represented by.
After they tell me that, I just do a cold read off of it! Then once I do a positive cold read they
remember that I totally nailed their sign.
So when I heard “archer” I just came up with some positive stuff about an arrow in flight, if
someone tells me Cancer, the crab, I say how they can change their minds, they can walk side to
side on an issue (like a crab) and they also can have a hard shell, or shield up, but once you get
through it they are actually like warm…..and quite soft on the inside! (Same with Scorpio) because
I made that up about their sign’s shell.

A ram- Aries, surefooted, headstrong, loves to but heads.
Libra- the scales, I had a girl tell me how they are the only sign that isn’t represented by a living
thing like the other 11. So I responded with, “wow so you are special, unique!” and how she likes
balance, but things can make her teeter back and forth, like a scale.
Ok enough examples. You should clearly get the point.
The interesting thing is, I have used this DHV so much, that I actually started to remember points
about signs that girls told me and spit them out later.
So I never had to learn about this topic. I get THEM to tell me what they are then make some stuff
up and they think I have this deep insight into astrology!
Recently I even started asking if they are a fire, wind, air sign (girls told me this stuff existed and
they usually know) and then did a quick cold read on that!
Fire hot tempered, air, smooth free flowing, water, cool under pressure, earth solid.
That is the end of the DHV portion. Astrology is the sickest DHV I have seen. I still hate it, but it is
just so good I had to add it to the tool box.
You now have the quickest way of talking about it, with almost NO learning, and the more you do
this, the better you get!
Part 4
Now you should have TONS of conversation threads you can take after cold reading and discussing
astrology. This next step is harder to break down, but I want to give you a direction to move into,
a VERY important step in making the conversation evolve past the opener and DHVs. Below is a
scripted example if she was a Scorpio and I nailed my cold read, but you are going to have to plug
in the info you were provided with and follow up accordingly.
“So you have your guard up, or shell, and it is hard, hard to get through, but once you get there
you are one of the most warm caring people around. Anyone who crosses you better watch out, I
am sure when you get pissed off enough you have a nasty sting!” (Stated as a fact not a question)
“Ya, totally, this one time my friend blah blah blah”-HER
When someone starts to tell stories like this, it is because they are comfortable with you. Think
about if a dirty homeless guy asked you a question, you would probably give a very short answer,
like we have all heard from a woman who isn’t digging our shit. So when she starts to open up like
this it is a GREAT thing! LISTEN to what she has to say and build on it.

“Wow that is awesome, you are someone who has their friend’s back no matter what, and seem
kind of cool LOL. It sounds like YOU are someone who I should become friends with!
You know what, this is crazy how we are talking about personal stuff like this, and we don’t even
know each other’s names.”
Then I put my hand out to shake her hand, and every single time they say their name first, I shake
as I say my name and always give a solid handshake.
“Jenny, it is cool to meet you, the funny thing was, I wasn’t even going to come out tonight, but
looks like the stars had something else in mind. Ok, so I know that you are sexual, hard for you to
warm up to others but then a great friend once you do, and have a nasty sting, which actually
could be kind of hot. But I have been doing a lot of talking, I want to know more about you. What
is your story?
Most of the time they just answer, but if not
“What is my story?” –Her
“Ya, your story, everybody has one.”
And now is when I isolate if I need to, usually I mini-isolate her from the group, and this is where
the magic happens. She will start to open up and share a part of her with me. Sometimes she
needs help, like if she says she goes to school to teach, I will ask teach what, when did you realize
you wanted to teach, or why did you want to become a teacher. Something like that has more
substance to it and also will tell you more about the person she is. If you need to you can always
do a call back to traits you cold read and discuss those, but usually if she is digging you she will
help you find things to talk about.
Another point here I want to cover is this is where I do my screening. If she starts conveying traits
that I find undesirable then I eject. However if they are the traits that I find attractive such as, a
giving nature, honesty, loyalty, thoughtfulness, showing me she is responsible, then I will press the
action.
If she tells me a cool story, I will let her know afterwards how cool I think it is. So instead of asking
her to list traits about herself in an attempt to “sell me on her” this is the way I like to do that. Ask
questions, then let her know what I like about her answers/stories or don’t like. I will also add to
her answers tidbits of my life to help convey how we are on the same wavelength which is how I
really make a deep connection.
The situation then dictates where I take it. I may seed an event and number close, kino like hell
and go for a make out, or even have her come home with me. It all depends on what I am looking
for at that moment of my life which then guides me on how crazy I want to try and make this.

Great opener that you can always have in your back pocket. Step 1 of a routine stack you can add
to your toolbox. Also if you are having trouble opening, a solid and simple opener like this lets you
focus on other aspects of pick up you need to work on.
Step 2 lets you move past the opener into a great topic the majority of women love talking about!
Step 3 is to test and see if astrology is as good a DHV as I have seen.
Step 4 is when you make the connection and the magic happens
