Alexis, que devons-nous attendre de vous pour l’hiver 2014-2015 ?
Une femme en perpétuel mouvement ! Un coup de vent, un souffle, court sur chaque silhouette
pour créer de la souplesse et de l’asymétrie. Je bannis le rectiligne avec des coupes précises
mais fluides qui balancent le corps féminin.
La femme que vous habillez est…
Volage, super active, comme la plupart des femmes aujourd’hui ! Ce qui la distingue ? Une
forme de laisser-aller naturellement sophistiqué. Très chic, ayant ce petit côté espiègle, elle
mixe différentes cultures et influences dans des looks très personnels.
Justement, quels sont ses codes ?
Le plus fort est le sportswear-smoking. Sans heures, elle brise la routine du jour et nuit. Un
jogging de crêpe satin est ultra confortable, une blouse en carreaux bucheron est portée avec
une longue jupe de taffetas, des manches enlacent la taille tandis que la chemise plastron vole
comme un foulard, des pans de paillettes glissent sur un cardigan de laine, des sweaters sont
ajourés et recouverts de tulle brodé, etc. La décontraction est plus que jamais au rendez-vous.
Elle joue aussi avec l’habillé-déshabillé.
Effectivement, le corps est à la fois couvert et découvert. Je préfère suggérer la sensualité par
des détails qui dévoilent de la peau, les robes foulard qui emmaillotent, les liquettes de soie
aux pointes mouchoir qui chaloupent la marche…
Votre identité est cependant bien présente.
Toujours, avec mon nœud-papillon fétiche porté à la cool, dénoué sur un sweatshirt par
exemple. J’aime aussi les tailles marquées avec des jupes et pantalons taille haute, souvent
ceinturés, qui mettent la jambe à l’honneur. Et je n’oublie pas de m’amuser du masculinféminin : cette fois, j’ai insisté sur la chemise, revisitée à quatre manches, en robe, ou en
ceinture-manches.
Votre femme, son sport, c’est la mode ?
Oui, j’adore ça. L’idée d’une personnalité franche et indépendante, qui n'en fait qu'à sa tête
avec les tendances qu’on lui propose, composant son propre vestiaire. Elle est elle-même.

Alexis, what should we expect from you for winter 2014-2015?
A woman who’s always on the move! A gust of wind, a breeze wafts over each silhouette to
create suppleness and asymmetry. This season, I decided to do away with graphics – I’m
keeping the cut precise but more fluid to give the body movement.
The woman you dress is…
Always on the move – like most women today! What makes her distinctive: A naturally
sophisticated but casual attitude. She’s chic with an air of mischief about her, and she mixes
together cultures and influences for a very personal look.
Speaking of which, what are her codes?
The strongest one is the “sportswear” smoking. It breaks with the usual routine because it
works anytime, day or night. A tracksuit in satin crêpe is super comfortable, a shirt in
lumberjack plaid is paired with a long taffeta skirt, sleeves encircle the waist while a plastron
flutters like a scarf, swatches of sequins slip onto a wool cardigan, and openwork sweaters are
covered with embroidered tulle, etc. More than ever, it’s all about relaxed chic.
She also plays with the notion of un/dressing…
Yes, the body is covered and yet uncovered. I prefer hinting at sensuality through details that
reveal a little skin, like a scarf dresses that swathes the body, or a silk shirt with handkerchief
hems that sway as she walks…
And yet this look is immediately recognizable.
Always – with my signature bowtie worn nonchalantly, for example sported undone on a
sweatshirt. I also like a marked waist, with high-waisted pants and skirts that are often belted
and show off the legs. And, as ever, I love a masculine/feminine look: this time, the story
centers on the shirt, revisited with multiple sleeves, as a dress or as sleeve-belts.
Is fashion your woman’s preferred sport?
Of course – I love the idea of a forthright, independent woman who follows her own path
regardless of the trends, who builds her own wardrobe and remains true to herself.
