L'organisation américaine "National Assembly for Youth Sport" a formellement entériné la
Déclaration. Fred Engh, président de la NAYS a envoyée la Déclaration aux 3.000 sections (chapters)
de l'organisation partout aux États Unis avec la demande de l'entériner aussi.

Aujourd'hui, l'Unicef à New York a formellement entériné la Declaration. L'organisation se déclare
prête à travailler avec le Panathlon pour la divulguer et pour la mettre en pratique sur le terrain.

M. Hein Verbruggen, président de l'AGFIS (Association Générale des Fédérations Internationales de
Sports), a envoyé une lettre dans laquelle il se dit prêt à aider le Panathlon pour la divulgation de la
Déclaration auprès des fédérations internationales sportives.
Et dans une lettre adressée au président international, Enrico Prandi, le secrétaire-générale de la FIBA
(Fédération Internationale de Basketball), Patrick Bauman, signale la décision du Comité Exécutif
d'accepter formellement la Déclaration.

Le professeur Helmut Digel nous envoie la bonne nouvelle que le président de l'IAAF (athlétisme),
Lamin Diack, a décidé de signer la Déclaration du Panathlon sur l'Etique du Sport de Jeunesse.

Thanks to the work of the distinguished Panathlete Maurice De Smet, member of the club of Brussels,
64 clubs (sixty-four!) of the Sports Council of the community of Evergem near Ghent (Belgium), have
officially endorsed the "Panathlon Declaration of Ethics in Youth Sport". The sports council is ready
now to present the Declaration to the city council for official endorsement.
Grâce au travail du panathlète extraordinaire Maurice De Smet, membre du club de Bruxelles
(Néerlandophone), 64 clubs du conseil sportif de la commune d'Evergem, tout prêt de Gand (en
Belgique) ont entériné la "Déclaration du Panathlon sur l'Ethique des Jeunes dans le Sport". En
conséquence, le conseil sportif enverra la Déclaration à la commune pour entérinement officiel.

Please find below the recommendation that was passed by the City of Kitchener Council on Monday,
January 16, 2006 regarding the Panathlon International Declaration.
"That the Panathlon Declaration on Ethics in Youth Sport, which represents a commitment to
establish clear rules of conduct in the pursuit of the positive values in youth sport, be endorsed, as
outlined in Community Services Department report CSD-06-006."
Le président Hein Verbruggen nous annonce que le conseil de l'Agfis (Association Générale des
Fédérations Internationales de Sports), avec le CIO la plus haute autorité du sport mondial, a entériné
la "Déclaration du Panathlon sur l'Ethique du Sport de Jeunesse" lors de sa réunion à Seoul le 3 avril
2006. L'Agis publiera la Déclaration dans tous ses organes et l'enverra à toutes les fédérations sportives
internationals.
Et pendant une cérémonie au Cap (Afrique du Sud) des représentants de Eupea (Association
européenne pour l'Education Physique), des universités de Western Cape, Bruxelles, Gand et
Louvain et de l'Institut hollandais pour le Sport et le Mouvement, ont signé la Déclaration en
présence du président international du Panathlon, Enrico Prandi.
Enfin, le Comité Olympique Belge, quelques fédérations sportives flamandes, la province de
Pavia en Italie, la ville de Rapallo en Italie et la commune d'Evergem en Belgique ont fait la
même chose.
Acting president Hein Verbruggen informs us that the council of GAISF (General Association of
International Sports Federations) at its meeting on April 3 2006 in Seoul, has officially agreed to
endorse the Panathlon Declaration on Ethics in Youth Sport. The Declaration will be published in the
various publications of GAISF and sent to all the member international sports federations!
And during a ceremony in Cape Town (South Africa) representatives of Eupea (European association
for Physical Education), the universities of Western Cape, Brussels, Ghent and Louvain, and of
Institute for Sports and Movement of the Netherlands have endorsed the Declaration in the presence of
Enrico Prandi, the international president of Panathlon.
Finally, the Belgian Olympic Committee, some Flemish sports federations, the province of Pavia in
Italy, the city of Rapallo in Italy and the community of Evergem in Belgium have done the same.
