with total heat recovery, offers complete

Project and Challenge
Solution
San Paolo Hospital of Barcelona is one of the more
ancient and advanced health centres in Europe.
The historical building, located in a fifteenth-century
palace, has been conceived according to the most
developed architectural theories and modern
healthcare technologies.
Climaveneta met the technical requirements of this
project designing a highly advanced plant, based on
4 water-cooling BE/SRAT-SL 4804 and 9 WRAQ-SL
2804 units with reducted acoustic emissions
delivering 10 MW cooling capacity and 7 MW
heating capacity altogether.
In particular, energy raiser multiuse units are one of
the strong points of the plant.
The modernity of the building, which is a part of a
relevant historical context, involved the choice of
advanced solutions in terms of technical plant in
order to achieve high standards of comfort in every
room, always paying great attention to both energy
efficiency and acoustic emissions.
Architectural reasons additionally required reduced
dimensions and extreme flexibility of the plant in
order to reduce the aesthetical impact.
Thanks to their leading edge construction approach,
these machines are able to provide simultaneous
heating and cooling according to the building's
requirements and recovering the heating capacity
generated by air conditioning for free hot water
production, instead of wasting it as happens with
traditional cooling or heating only solutions.

and 4 chiller BE/SRAT-SL units.

Careggi's Teaching Hospital, evolved from
Tuscany Sanitary System and Florence
University, deals with welfare activities as well
as teaching and research in order to meet the
highest requirements in terms of physical,
psychic and social
wellness.
In terms of Air Conditioning, Climaveneta
supplied 4 high efficiency chiller units, A
class FOCS-CA with partial heat recovery in
super low noise version, in order to minimize
acoustic emissions. Total cooling power
abt. 3000 kW.
The advanced heat recovery system
recovers 1000 KW heating power to
generate free domestic hot water.

one of the most important organizations of
the Southampton University Hospitals NHS
Trust (SUTH).
Searching for excellence is the Princess
Anne Hospital mission, always paying great

the technical plant.
Hence the choice of 2 high efficiency TECS
chiller units with magnetic levitation
centrifugal compressor, water cooled,
delivering a total capacity of 1300 kW.

Solution
The Al Quisais Rehabilitation centre offers
high standards of medical treatment in this
prestigious region in Dubai.
The awareness of how ideal comfort is
relevant in terms of health and recovery,
together with the desire to keep high
standards of clinical technical requirements,
resulted in an air conditioning system
conceived for offering perfect temperature
and humidity conditions, with lowest sound
levels and no aesthetical impact on the
modern design of the building.
No surprise that for this project the
consultants chose three Climaveneta air
cooled FOCS 4822/B units, with screw
compressors and R-134a, that provide a
very versatile, efficient and silent solution for
ensuring the highest level of comfort, all year
round with very extended operating limits
and the absolute reliability of a world leader
in air conditioning.
