“Premier Homme” proposera aux téléspectateurs une vision totalement nouvelle et inédite
de l’Histoire fantastique de nos origines. Grâce à des moyens technologiques issus de l’animation, jamais encore utilisés à la télévision et un mode narratif proche de la fiction, le film
retracera avec émotion le parcours de l’Homme en remontant jusqu’à la période des grands
singes et en suivant l’incroyable épopée d’une famille sur 15 millions d’années. Un grand moment de télévision ludique et enrichissant, une aventure humaine et une expérience visuelle
incomparable à partager en famille.
Qui sommes-nous et d’où venons-nous ?
Qui furent les premiers hommes qui peuplèrent notre planète ? Comment vivaient-ils ?
A quoi ressemblaient-ils et que ressentaient-ils ? Pourquoi certains d’entre eux ont-ils disparu ?
Comment sont-ils devenus ce que nous sommes ?
Il y a trente millions d’années, les grands singes apparaissent sur Terre. Debout dans les arbres, ils sont alors les rois
de la canopée et règnent en maître sur une forêt infinie. Parmi eux, une famille douée de facultés exceptionnelles voit le
jour. Ils fondent une vie sociale, créent un langage et inventent un moyen de transmettre leur savoir-faire à leurs enfants :
l’éducation. Ils vont bientôt changer la face du monde. Ils s’aventurent peu à peu sur le sol et rivalisent pour la première
fois avec les grands fauves, inventant les armes et maîtrisant le feu. Nos lointains ancêtres partent à la conquête du
monde et s’adaptent à tous les environnements.
Pour la première fois, voici la grande aventure de nos origines à travers l’histoire d’une seule et même famille. Un groupe
d’hommes, de femmes et d’enfants dont nous partageons les épreuves, les drames et les joies tout au long des étapes
majeures de l’évolution. Un voyage épique au cours duquel les toutes dernières découvertes scientifiques transfigurent

“First man” reveals to the audience a brand new vision of the fantastic story of our origins.
Traveling back to the great apes times, and using unseen technologies on television straight
from the animated world, the film will tell with emotion the story of Man. We’ll follow the
adventures of a family over 15 billion years. A great moment of adventures, entertaining and
playful, plus an incredibly visual experience will make this film a perfect family time.
Who are we and where do we come from ?
Who were the first men on our planet? How did they live ?
How did they look like and how did they feel ? Why did some of them disapeared ?
How did they become who we are ?
Thirty million years ago the great apes appeared on Earth. Moving upright in the trees, they were then lords of the
canopy, reigning supreme over limitless forests. From their ranks arose one family, gifted with exceptional skills. They
founded a new social way of life. They created a language. They invented education as a way of passing on knowledge
to their children. This early family would change the face of our world forever. Little by little, they ventured onto the
ground and, for the first time, challenged the supremacy of the big cats inventing weapons and mastering fire. Man’s
early ancestors set off to conquer the world and adapted to every environment.
Here, for the very first time in television history, is the epic saga of our origins, told through the story of one single family :
a group of men, women and children with whom we share trials, drama and joys down the ages, and in every key stage
in their evolution. It is an epic journey. A journey on which the very latest scientific discoveries shine an exciting light on
