Alkaline Trio and Zebrahead support Incubus at the Telekom
PRESS RELEASE – September 21st, 2011 Alkaline Trio and Zebrahead support Incubus at the Telekom Playgrounds • Alkaline Trio and Zebrahead are the new confirmed acts and finalize, along with Incubus, the line up for the Playgrounds in Berlin • This is the only World Cup Skateboarding Event in Germany and it will feature last year´s winner Phil Zwijsen as well as world’s #1-ranked Kelvin Hoefler Rodrigues • In the BMX category we´ll eagerly anticipate US-Star Brett Banasiewicz and Alex Coleborn from the UK • For more information & tickets: www.telekom-playgrounds.de We proudly present another two awesome live acts in Berlin: Alkaline and Zebrahead. Along with Incubus, the US bands will be rocking the stage around the thrilling championship. The action-packed contest welcomes international top skaters Phil Zwijsen (BEL) and Kelvin Hoefler Rodrigues (BRA) as well as BMX icons like Brett Banasiewicz (USA) and Alex Coleborn (UK). Incubus, Alkaline and Zebrahead will rock the place on November 20th in Berlin. The first riders for the only World Cup Skateboarding Event and international BMX contest in Germany are already confirmed, so keep in touch! We may introduce: Alkaline from Chicago. Three guys, caught up somewhere between punk, melancholy and whisky. In July this year, Matt Skiba (guitar, vocals), Daniel Andriano (Bass) and Derek Grant (Drums) released their 8th studio album, „Damnesia“, and celebrated their 15th anniversary at the same time. Damnesia is a compilation of older songs like „Radio“ or „This Could Be Love" in all-new-acoustic versions. A damn good reason to celebrate our anniversaries together! And who knows better to rock a stage than the guys from Zebrahead…The 1996 founded punk rock band, released already 13 studio albums and their current album “Get Nice!”came out in August this year. As supporting act of The Offspring, Green Day and the Beastie Boys the band has played almost all major festivals, so let´s welcome them at the Telekom Playgrounds!
