CV Rizki Resa Utama (b.1982 in Bandung, Indonesia) is a time-­‐based media artist working mostly with video, photography, and performance. In 2006 he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science at Padjajaran University, Bandung, Indonesia. In 2013 he received his Diploma in Fine Art and in 2014 he completed his Meisterschüler year at the HBK Braunschweig, Germany. His works attempt to investigate the making of values and roles, which drive the interaction between individuals in a social group. His works try to explore the relation between the power of mass media and the complexity of identity construction, and to question the translation process of society’s product by individuals in full-­‐filling their duty and desire. Since 2008 he lives and works in Germany.
