Lieferumfang:

2 x Lenkerendstücke
Demontage:
Demontieren Sie zunächst den Tank. Lösen Sie die
Steckverbindung des Heizgriffanschlusses.
Nehmen Sie eine Nadel oder Ähnliches und
drücken Sie die Sperrhacken im Anschlußstecker
zurück, so das Sie die einzelnen Stecker aus dem
Anschlussstecker nach hinten heraus ziehen
können. Denken Sie daran, die Sperrzungen wieder
hochzubiegen , bevor Sie die Stecker bei der
Montage wieder in den Anschlußstecker
einstecken. Markieren Sie sich die Position der
Kabel.
Lenkerendgewichte demontieren und die Kabel
nach außen aus dem Lenker herausziehen. .
Die Sicherungsschrauben der Heizgriffe lösen und
Heizgriffe vom Lenker herunterziehen.
Anschließend Bedienelemente demontieren und
original Lenker demontieren.

Montage:
Zunächst die Klemmböcke so auf die
Gabelbrücke legen , dass die
Angefasste Seite zum Fahrer hin
weist. Setzen Sie die vordere
Schraube nur an und verschrauben
sie die Klemmbocke mit der
Niederkopfschraube in der hinteren
unteren Verschraubung an der
Gabelbrücke. Vorder Schraube
wieder entfernen und Lenker
montieren.
Jetzt zunächst alle Bedienelemente
wieder lose montieren.
Achtung!
Im ungünstigen Fällen kann es zu
Toleranzüberschneidungen von
Lenkerdurchmesser und Armaturen
kommen.
Armatur auf keinen Fall aufbiegen.
Bruchgefahr!!!
Den Lenker mit 80er
Schmirgelleinen gleichmässig an
den Enden etwas abschleifen.
Anschließend Heizgriffe über den
Lenker schieben jetzt die Kabel durch
den Lenker ziehen. ( Draht oder
ähnliches als Hilfsmittel verwenden)
Jetzt die Heizgriffe wieder
anschrauben. Darauf achten, dass
die Kabel über den Aussparungen
liegen.
Alle Bedienelemente anschrauben
und Lenkerendstücke montieren.

Installation:
Magura Handlebar with Heated Grips F650GS
Contains:
1 x Handlebar
1 x Handlebar clamp kit
2 x Bar end
Disassembly:
Please use BMW repair manual as a reference
guide.
Remove first the fuel tank covers, expose the
heated grip connectors and loosen the heated
grip connections.
Connection hook can be pressed with a needle so
that individual wire connections can carefully be
removed out of the connector.
Remember to bend the hook back out for
assembly so that the wire end stays in the
connector. NOTE THE POSITION OF WIRES.
Remove the bar ends and pull the wires out of the
handlebar. Loosen the security screw of the
heated grip and remove the heat element of the
bar.
Disassemble then the controls and remove them
off the bar.

Installation:
Magura Handlebar with Heated Grips F650GS
Installation:
Set the new riser blocks on so that the
two lower boltholes are facing
towards the rider. Attach the block
with the flatter head screw first. Set
the new bar on the risers and attach
with longer bolt up up front and
shorter towards the rider.
Reinstall all controls loosely on the
bars.
More relating installation instructions
can be found under the riser part
number 040-0723
NOTE: the bars may have some
production tolerances! Do not try to
force the handlebar controls on the
bar if they do not fit exactly. File off
any extra on the controls until the fit
the bars.
Push the grips on the bars and pull
the wires for heated grips through the
bar. You may need to use some wire
or other method to get the wires
through the bar and reconnect.
Reattach the heated grips. Make
sure to lay the wires correctly in the
slots on the Magura bar.
Reinstall handlebar controls and
other parts and make sure handlebar
clamps and other screws are
tightened to BMW specks.
Recheck the bolt torque in regular
intervals !
