GCI0K COUNTERS CONTROLLERS ENCODERS Magnetic Field Sensor for rotating Application Features – Max. protection type IP 67 – Encoder can be mounted free of shaft vibrations – Speed up to 20000 rev../min. Description With magnetic encoders, the angle measurement is carried out with contactless scanning of a magnetized inductor by means of a magneto-resistive sensor. This generated the angle-dependent analog signals which are fed to the downstream electronics for further processing. Up to 4096 pulses can be realized with this inexpensive, robust and very easy to mount encoder. Due to the compact design and the fact that the sensor contains no moving parts, a sealing class of IP 67 can easily be achieved. The distance from the inductor to the sensor unit can be up to 0.8 mm (0.5 mm from 10x Interpolation) without impairing the system accuracy.
