Biography
DJ and producer Georg Neufeld is a Swiss-born musician, composer, DJ and producer. He started
DJing in 1991, knowing his vocation to music from an early age after being trained in classical
piano since age five, Georg never had any doubt as to where his future would lie.
Infected by the sound of house music of the late 80s and early 90s, he would start to experiment
with playing that concept of electronic music on acoustic instruments, too. Either on drums, on
electric bass or synthesizers, getting into digital music production eventually using notator on an
Atari computer and recording on cassette, he slowly built up his digital studio environment during
the mid 90s. DJing in the club scene in central Europe and constantly refining his production skills,
it was time for the next big step.
In 2002, he founded his own label “Handhouse Records” and made adventure himself to become a
self-employed musician, producer, DJ and remixer. He put out his first 12” vinyl record in 2003.
Collaborating with other producers around the globe through myownmusic, myspace and skype, he
was ready for his most influencial experience in 2007, visiting the home of house music: Chicago.
Becoming a member of the “Organic Groove Continuum” production and DJ team, he especially
made a name for himself on his playing skills on keyboards and synthesizers.
Nowadays, he is mostly being a remixing and mastering specialist, composer for movie scores, and
always a good DJ for your event.
