Symop, the French association for
manufacturing technologies has almost
240 members. It is organized into twelve
groups. The “Welding - Brazing- Cutting”
group is composed of about thirty companies representing more than 80% of the
French market. This dynamic actor is the originator of many well known endeavors
both in France and internationally. In compliance with the European directive DEEE,
it has, for example, launched in 2006 the “Collectif Soudage” (the Welding Collective),
an economic interest group which collects and treats end-of-life waste, an initiative
welcomed by the government ministers concerned. The Welding-brazing-cutting group
at Symop is also a very active member of the EWA (European Welding Association).
Symop is also affiliated to a strong federation, the French Federation of Mechanical
Engineering Industries (FIM).
Der Verband SYMOP vereint circa 240 französische Technologieunternehmen, die in 12
Zuständigkeitsbereiche gegliedert sind.
Zur Abteilung „Schweißen – Schneiden – Löten“ gehören ca. 30 Unternehmen, die
zusammen mehr als 80 Prozent des französischen Marktanteils in ihrem Segment
darstellen. Diese dynamische Gruppe ist sowohl national als auch international für
ihre Aktivitäten bekannt. Um zum Beispiel der europäischen Richtlinie DEEE gerecht
werden zu können, wurde 2006 die Interessengemeinschaft „Schweißen“ gegründet,
die sich um die Entsorgung von Abfällen kümmert. Diese Initiative wurde von den
Ministerien befürwortet.
Die Gruppe „Schweißen – Schneiden – Löten“ ist außerdem aktives Mitglied der EWA
(European Welding Association).
