Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our rapidly expanding
technology and BPO services in Europe.
The candidate will have many varied and challenging responsibilities including acquisition of
new business, account management, initiating marketing activities, project management
and coordinating implementations. Foremost important is building a healthy pipeline of
prospects and closing new accounts.
To understand your audience you will have experience and expertise of the finance industry
and have a basic understanding of a range of financial instruments and or concepts and
relevant software solutions. This assignment is requiring a well experienced sales person
that has a proven track record in acquiring new businesses and nurturing the new
customers for many years to come, in order to enhance and extend the use of our solutions.
You will work on one hand individually, but also in a team of marketing and sales oriented
colleagues as well as our development team and our implementation consultants. You can
work out of Geneva or London.
Responsibilities

Generate new business sales.

Manage sale cycles from start to finish, i.e. from lead generation to close.

Generate leads (build pipeline) through networking and events.

Qualify leads and report on your pipeline.

Organise and conduct client meetings, presentations and workshops.

Facilitate and motivate pre-sales staff to come with client solutions and value
propositions.

Participate in weekly marketing meetings.

Work the political landscape within target organisations.

Drive the sales cycle forward towards a close.

Work out client proposals (solutions, services and commercial terms).

Negotiate and close client contracts.

Hand over solutions/projects from Sales to Support.
Desired Qualifications









Successful experience within sales of software solutions.
Experience in solution selling.
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
o Languages: English, French, German, any additional languages.
Experience from or related to the investment management industry.
Sales experience or knowledge of financial software packages.
Some technical background is advantageous.
University degree(s).
Creative and proactive (‘hunter mentality’).
Ability to travel (up to 50%).

As this role requires interaction with very senior stakeholders the successful applicant will
be confident, outgoing and articulate. Since our organisation is changing, expanding and
