Preface
1.1
This “Fee Schedule Hub Products” provides an overview on the fees to be paid for our
products “Hub Trading”, “Hub Trading Flat” and “Hub Season” (“Hub Products”) as well
as on those for “Hub Add ons”. In addition to the fees to be paid for gas storage the
fees for services that can be made use of in connection with our “Hub Products” are also contained.
1.2
All fees shown herein are net amounts with the applicable rate of VAT to be added.
1.3
The italicized terms in this fee schedule comply with the terms set out in the "General
Terms and Conditions of VGS for the Storage of Gas at the Underground Storage Facilities operated by VGS" published at www.vng-gasspeicher.de and coming into force
on January 20, 2016 (“Storage GT&C”).

Capacity Fees “Hub Products” and “Hub Add ons”
2.1
Capacity Fees “Hub Products”
The capacity fee for the “Hub Products” shall be paid during the service period for the
provision of the bundled capacities and is calculated exact to the day in Euro per gas
day (€/d).
2.1.1
Capacity Fees for Standard Configuration in Storage Year 2016/17
The capacity fees for the standard configuration of the “Hub Products” shall be for the
storage year 2016/17:

Capacity Fees for an Individual Configuration
The capacity fees for the individual configuration of a Hub Product for the respective
storage year are calculated as a function of the requested quantity of the capacities of
working gas volume, injection rate and withdrawal rate.
To find out about the capacity fee to be paid for an individual configuration the customer may
•
calculate the fee with the help of the "easystore" online product configurator in the
customer area MY STORAGE or
•
request it directly and without engagement from VGS by an informal Email to
[email protected].
2.2
Capacity Fees for “Hub Add ons”
The capacity fees for the firm unbundled capacities working gas volume, injection rate
and withdrawal rate that can be contracted in addition to an already existing “Hub
Trading”, “Hub Trading Flat” or “Hub Season” contract as host contract ("Hub Add
ons") shall be paid during the service period for the provision of the respective capacity
and are calculated exact to the day in Euro per gas day (€/d).
2.2.1 Capacity Fees for "Hub Add ons" (Standard Products)
The capacity fee to be paid for a standard product "Hub Add on" is calculated as a
function of the already contracted capacity quantities of the respective host contract.

To find out about the respective capacity fee the customer may
•
calculate the fee with the help of a configuration and calculation feature of the
"easystore" online product configurator provided in the menu item CONTRACTS of
the respective host contract within the non-public area of the customer area MY
STORAGE or
•
request it directly and without engagement from VGS by an informal Email to
[email protected] containing the contract number of the respective host
contract and the favored capacity(ies) together with the service period.
2.2.2 Capacity Fees for "Hub Add ons Day-Ahead"
As far as an “Hub Add on” injection rate and/or withdrawal rate is provided as dayahead capacity that is available on short notice (“Hub Add on Day-Ahead”), before the
commencement of the marketing period (from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. of a gas day, if applicable), VGS shall determine for the respective capacity an internal minimum capacity fee that is applicable for that period, document it, and implement the minimum capacity fee in their online booking system. A binding offer regarding the conclusion of
an additional agreement concerning the Hub Add on Day-Ahead, which shall be submitted by way of an online booking, shall only be accepted if the fee regarding the desired capacity to be offered by the customer within the scope of the order submission
is equivalent to the previously determined and documented minimum capacity fee or is
higher than this minimum capacity fee.
In other respects, the regulations regarding the conclusion of contracts by way of an
online booking in accordance with § 17 of the Terms of Registration and Booking of
VGS shall remain unaffected.
2.3
Contract-specific Capacity Fee and its Adjustment
The capacity fee to be paid by the customer for the contracted bundled capacities of
the respective contract for a “Hub Product” as well as the capacity fee to be paid by the
customer for the contracted unbundled capacities of a supplementary agreement for a
“Hub Add on” (each “contract-specific capacity fee (CF)”) will change in accordance
with the fee adjustment formula given below on April 1, 6:00 a.m. of every calendar
year k+1 (adjustment date):

Thus the contract-specific capacity fee for the respective following storage year

The contract-specific capacity fee in €/d shall be commercially rounded to two decimal
places according to DIN 1333.
When the Federal Statistical Office adjusts the index of products of capital equipment
manufacturers and/or the index of agreed monthly earnings of power supply sector
employees to the new base year, the new series published from this date shall apply
up to the next calculation date for future adjustments of the contract-specific capacity
fees.

If the index of products of capital equipment manufacturers and/or the index of agreed
monthly earnings of power supply sector employees is replaced, changed materially or
no longer published, VGS shall be entitled as of the date of such change to define a
different index that comes as close as possible to the commercial concept of the adjustment procedure described and becomes effective from the next calculation date.
2.4
Discounting the Contract-specific Capacity Fees
For “Hub Products” and for “Hub Add ons” VGS shall grant discounts in line with the
contract term on the contract-specific capacity fee in €/d to be paid for the contracted
capacity. The following discounts shall be granted depending on the service period of
the respective “Hub Trading”, “Hub Trading Flat” or “Hub Season” contract or the respective supplementary agreement for a “Hub Add on”:

The term "year" shall mean a period of twelve (12) consecutive months each, irrespective of the gas day on which
this period commences.
Variable Fee
The variable fee shall be paid for the gas quantities injected by the customer. It shall
be determined based on the injected gas quantities (MWh) multiplied by the "variable
fee" factor in €/MWh applicable to the respective storage year. .

The "variable fee" factor in €/MWh shall be commercially rounded to three decimal

If the Federal Statistical Office adjusts the index of agreed monthly earnings for power
supply sector employees, the index of producer prices for electric power supplied to
special customers and/or the index of producer prices for natural gas supplied to industrial customers to a new base year, the new series published from this date shall
apply up to the next calculation date for future adjustments of the "variable fee" factor.
If the index of the agreed monthly earnings for energy supply sector employees, index
of producer prices for electric power supplied to special customers and/or index of producer prices for natural gas supplied to industrial customers is replaced, materially
changed or no longer published, VGS shall be entitled as of the date of such change to
define a different index that comes as close as possible to the commercial concept of
the adjustment procedure described and becomes effective from the next calculation
date.

A partial capacity transmission shall be subject to a transmission fee in the amount of

Vorbemerkung
1.1
Diese „Entgeltübersicht Hub Produkte“ verschafft Ihnen einen Überblick über die für
unsere Produkte „Hub Trading“, „Hub Trading Flat“ und „Hub Season“ („Hub Produkte“) sowie für „Hub Add ons“ zu zahlenden Entgelte. Neben den Entgelten für die
Speicherung des Gases sind auch Entgelte für Dienstleistungen enthalten, die Sie im
Zusammenhang mit unseren „Hub Produkten“ in Anspruch nehmen können.
1.2
Alle in dieser Entgeltübersicht aufgeführten Entgelte sind Nettoentgelte, die sich jeweils zuzüglich geltender gesetzlicher Umsatzsteuer verstehen.
1.3
Bei den in dieser Entgeltübersicht kursiv dargestellten Begrifflichkeiten handelt es
sich um Begriffsbestimmungen nach Maßgabe der unter www.vng-gasspeicher.de
veröffentlichten „Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen der VGS für die Speicherung
von Gas in den von VGS betriebenen Untergrundgasspeichern“, gültig ab 20.01.2016
("Speicher-AGB").

Leistungsentgelte „Hub Produkte“ und „Hub Add ons“
2.1
Leistungsentgelte „Hub Produkte“
Das Leistungsentgelt für die „Hub Produkte“ ist für die Vorhaltung der gebündelten
Kapazitäten im Leistungszeitraum zu zahlen und wird taggenau in Euro pro Gastag
(€/d) berechnet.
2.1.1 Leistungsentgelte für die Standardkonfiguration im Speicherjahr 2016/17
Die Leistungsentgelte für die Standardkonfiguration der „Hub Produkte“ betragen für
das Speicherjahr 2016/17:

2.1.3 Leistungsentgelte für eine individuelle Konfiguration
Die Leistungsentgelte für eine individuelle Konfiguration eines „Hub Produkts“ für das
jeweilige Speicherjahr errechnen sich in Abhängigkeit von der konkret gewünschten
Menge der Kapazitäten Arbeitsgasvolumen, Einspeicherleistung und Ausspeicherleistung.
Das für eine individuelle Konfiguration zu zahlende Leistungsentgelt kann der Kunde
•
mit Hilfe des Online-Produktkonfigurators "easystore" im Kundenbereich MEIN
SPEICHER selbst ermitteln oder
•
unter Angabe der gewünschten Kapazitäten im Wege einer formlosen E-Mail an
[email protected] direkt bei VGS unverbindlich erfragen.
2.2
Leistungsentgelte „Hub Add ons“
Die Leistungsentgelte für die zusätzlich zu einem bestehenden Vertrag „Hub Trading“, „Hub Trading Flat“ bzw. „Hub Season“ als Basisvertrag kontrahierbaren ungebündelten Kapazitäten Arbeitsgasvolumen, Einspeicherleistung und Ausspeicherleistung auf fester Basis („Hub Add ons“) sind für die Vorhaltung der jeweiligen Kapazität
im Leistungszeitraum zu zahlen und werden taggenau in Euro pro Gastag (€/d) berechnet.
2.2.1 Leistungsentgelte „Hub Add ons“ (Standardprodukte)
Das für ein Standardprodukt „Hub Add on“ zu zahlende Leistungsentgelt errechnet
sich in Abhängigkeit von den bereits kontrahierten Kapazitätsmengen des jeweiligen

Basisvertrages.
Der Kunde kann das entsprechende Leistungsentgelt
•
innerhalb des nicht-öffentlichen Bereichs des Kundenbereichs MEIN SPEICHER
mit Hilfe einer im Menüpunkt VERTRÄGE für den jeweiligen Basisvertrag eingerichteten
Konfigurations-
und
Kalkulationsfunktion
des
Online-
Produktkonfigurators „easystore“ selbst ermitteln oder
•
unter Angabe der Vertragsnummer des betreffenden Basisvertrages, der gewünschten Kapazität(en) und des hierfür vorgesehenen Leistungszeitraums im
Wege einer formlosen E-Mail an [email protected] direkt und unverbindlich bei VGS erfragen.
2.2.2 Leistungsentgelte „Hub Add ons Day-Ahead“
Soweit ein „Hub Add on“ Einspeicherleistung und/oder Ausspeicherleistung als kurzfristig verfügbare Day-Ahead-Kapazität angeboten wird („Hub Add on Day-Ahead“),
legt VGS vor Beginn des Vermarktungszeitraums (ggf. von 10:00 Uhr bis 17:00 Uhr
eines Gastages) ein für diesen Zeitraum gültiges, internes Mindestleistungsentgelt für
die betreffende Kapazität fest, dokumentiert dieses und implementiert das Mindestleistungsentgelt in ihrem Onlinebuchungssystem. Eine Annahme eines im Wege der
Onlinebuchung abzugebenden verbindlichen Angebots zum Abschluss einer Zusatzvereinbarung Hub Add on Day-Ahead erfolgt nur dann, wenn das im Rahmen der
Angebotsabgabe durch den Kunden abzugebende Entgeltgebot für die gewünschte
Kapazität dem zuvor festgelegten und dokumentierten Mindestleistungsentgelt entspricht oder oberhalb dieses Mindestleistungsentgelts liegt.
Die Regelungen zum Vertragsschluss im Wege der Onlinebuchung gemäß § 17 der
Registrierungs- und Buchungsbedingungen der VGS bleiben im Übrigen unberührt.
2.3
Vertragsspezifisches Leistungsentgelt und dessen Anpassung
Das für die kontrahierten gebündelten Kapazitäten des jeweiligen Vertrages über ein
„Hub Produkt“ vom Kunden zu zahlende Leistungsentgelt ebenso wie das für die kontrahierten ungebündelten Kapazitäten einer Zusatzvereinbarung über ein „Hub Add
on“ vom Kunden zu zahlende Leistungsentgelt (jeweils „vertragsspezifisches Leistungsentgelt (LE)“) ändert sich nach Maßgabe der nachstehenden Entgeltanpassungsformel zum 1. April, 06:00 Uhr eines jeden Kalenderjahres k+1 (Anpassungszeitpunkt):

2.1, WZ 2008-D, in: Veröffentlichungen des Statistischen Bundesamtes Wiesbaden, Fachserie 16, Reihe 4.3)
Das vertragsspezifische Leistungsentgelt in €/d wird auf zwei Dezimalstellen kaufmännisch nach DIN 1333 auf- oder abgerundet.
Stellt das Statistische Bundesamt den Index der Erzeugnisse der Investitionsgüterproduzenten und/oder den Index der tariflichen Monatsverdienste für Arbeitnehmer
im Wirtschaftszweig Energieversorgung auf ein neues Basisjahr um, so gilt die ab
diesem Datum veröffentlichte jeweilige neue Reihe mit Wirkung zum nächstfolgenden
Berechnungszeitpunkt für zukünftige Anpassungen des vertragsspezifischen Leistungsentgeltes.
Wird der Index der Erzeugnisse der Investitionsgüterproduzenten und/oder der Index
der tariflichen Monatsverdienste für Arbeitnehmer im Wirtschaftszweig EnergieverSeite 6 von 10
- gültig ab 01.09.2016 -
sorgung ersetzt, wesentlich geändert oder nicht mehr veröffentlicht, so ist VGS berechtigt, ab dem Datum einer solchen Veränderung mit Wirkung zum nächstfolgenden Berechnungszeitpunkt einen anderen Index festzulegen, der dem wirtschaftlichen Grundgedanken der beschriebenen Entgeltanpassungsregelung möglichst nahe
kommt.
2.4
Rabattierung des vertragsspezifischen Leistungsentgelts
Für „Hub Produkte“ sowie für „Hub Add ons“ gewährt VGS laufzeitabhängige Rabatte
auf das vom Kunden für die kontrahierten Kapazitäten zu zahlende vertragsspezifische Leistungsentgelt in €/d. In Abhängigkeit vom Leistungszeitraum des jeweiligen
Vertrages „Hub Trading“, „Hub Trading Flat“ oder „Hub Season“ bzw. der jeweiligen
Zusatzvereinbarung über ein „Hub Add on“ ergeben sich die folgenden Rabatte:

Unter dem Begriff "Jahr" ist ein Zeitraum von jeweils zwölf (12) zusammenhängenden Monaten zu verstehen,
gleichgültig an welchem Gastag diese beginnen.
Variables Entgelt
Das variable Entgelt ist für die vom Kunden eingespeicherten Gasmengen zu zahlen.
Es ermittelt sich nach den eingespeicherten Gasmengen in MWh multipliziert mit dem
für das jeweilige Speicherjahr geltenden Faktor „variables Entgelt“ in €/MWh.

Der Faktor "variables Entgelt" beziffert sich für die Speicherjahre 2016/17 und

Vertragsspezifischer Faktor "variables Entgelt" und dessen Anpassung
Der für den jeweiligen Vertrag über ein „Hub Produkt“ maßgebliche Faktor "variables
Entgelt" (vertragsspezifischer Faktor "variables Entgelt" (FVE)) in €/MWh ändert sich
nach Maßgabe der nachstehenden Anpassungsformel zum 1. April, 06:00 Uhr, eines
jeden Kalenderjahres k+1 (Anpassungszeitpunkt):

Entgelt".
Wird der Index der tariflichen Monatsverdienste für Arbeitnehmer im Wirtschaftszweig
Energieversorgung, der Index der Erzeugerpreise für elektrischen Strom, bei Abgabe
an Sonderkunden und/oder der Index der Erzeugerpreise für Erdgas, bei Abgabe an
die Industrie ersetzt, wesentlich geändert oder nicht mehr veröffentlicht, so ist VGS
berechtigt, ab dem Datum einer solchen Veränderung mit Wirkung zum nächstfolgenden Berechnungszeitpunkt einen anderen Index festzulegen, der dem wirtschaftlichen Grundgedanken der beschriebenen Anpassungsregelung möglichst nahe
kommt.
