Serve as an assistant for the resident scenic designer. Build ¼” and ½” scenic models, create prop
lists, draft scenic elements in Vectorworks, and create paint elevations. Work in props and paints
departments when needed.
La Jolla Playhouse

Prep flats/floor for painting, clean and maintain brushes, back-paint elements once they are
installed in the space. Assist scenic artists in basic paint treatments (brick, wood grain, tile
flooring, etc). Worked on sets for Ulysses and Glen Gary, Glen Ross.

Work performances at Conrad Prebys Music Center and Mandeville Theater. Hang and focus
lights, set up sound system, manage scenic elements for each incoming show. Act as run
