Increasing communication over the internet requires more and more powerful connections. DSL with bandwidths below one megabite are a thing of the past.
The internet has become part of our daily lives. We use it at school, university, home office, or for private applications (e.g. online banking etc.). Just like electricity and heating, an advanced internet connection is part
of the minimum requirement to a housing unit. This is why the Stadtwerke Ramstein-Miesenbach is now
offering broadband internet connections for Spesbach.

a pre-contract:
For the implementation of these connections
in the area of Spesbach, Stadtwerke RamsteinMiesenbach will put in a large investment, which
has to be supported and backed by potential
customers. Therefore we need at least 120 precontracts in the area.
What we do:
Fiberglass connections will be installed to the cabel
distributor units. These distributor units will connect the housing units in the area to the telephone
network, whereas we also use the existing copper
cabels of the Deutsche Telekom. This way there will
be no groundwork necessary. Also, there is no need
to change existing cabels in a housing unit or appartment.
