Le réseau ferroviaire Normandie de SNCF (Société
Nationale des Chemins de Fer Français) couvre presque
la totalité du territoire des deux régions normandes.
Cependant, les tableaux qui suivent portent sur les
trafics voyageurs et fret de la région Haute-Normandie
uniquement.
The Normandy rail network of SNCF (French National
Railway Company) covers almost the entire territory of
the two Normandy regions. However, the following
tables focus on freight and passenger traffic in the
Upper Normandy area only.
n Le trafic voyageurs (Haute-Normandie) Passengers traffic (Upper Normandy)
En Haute-Normandie, SNCF emploie 3 356 agents,
exploite un réseau de 813 km dont 346 km de lignes
électrifiées et accueille les voyageurs dans 72 gares. En
moyenne 16 882 voyageurs transitent chaque jour en
gare de Rouen Rive Droite. Les grands axes voyageurs
sont Le Havre-Rouen-Paris, Cherbourg-Caen-Evreux-Paris
et Rouen-Dieppe.
In Upper Normandy, SNCF employs 3,356 agents,
operates a network of 813 km of which 346 km of
line is electric and welcomes passengers into 72 stations. On average 16,882 passengers pass through
the Rouen Rive Droite station each day. The main
passenger routes are Le Havre-Rouen-Paris, CherbourgCaen-Evreux-Paris and Rouen-Dieppe.

The project for the new Paris-Normandy
Line (LNPN)
Le projet de Ligne Nouvelle Paris Normandie (LNPN)
vise à améliorer les connexions entre Paris et les villes
normandes (Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre, Rouen, Evreux)
et les liaisons intra normandes. Il s’agit d’améliorer les
conditions de transport des voyageurs (Paris/Rouen
en 45 min) et du fret (nouveaux sillons après Mantesla-Jolie). Une gare sera réalisée à Rouen rive gauche
(St-Sever) au coeur d’un nouveau quartier d’affaires.
The project for the New Paris-Normandy Line (LNPN)
aims to improve the connections between Paris and
the towns of Normandy (Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre,
Rouen, Evreux) and intra-Normandy connections. It aims
to improve transport conditions for passengers (ParisRouen in 45 mins) and new freight lines from Mantesla-Jolie. A train station will be built in Rouen at the left
bank (St-Sever) at the heart of a new business district.
