Environment
Read this article about water in different countries.
L’Algérie. Dans ce pays il y a peu de pluie. Alors, conserver
l’eau est devenu une grande priorité puisque le soleil cause
une évaporation rapide.
Les Etats-Unis. Avec ses montagnes, ses grandes rivières
et ses Grands Lacs il y a assez d’eau pour la consommation
de 600 litres par personne et par jour.
L’Angleterre. C’est un pays où il pleut beaucoup, donc
normalement il y a suffisamment d’eau. Cependant, il y a
des périodes sans pluie où il est interdit de laver sa voiture
ou d’arroser son jardin.
L’Australie. Il y a des régions où il n’a pas plu depuis une
dizaine d’années, même près des grandes villes du sud-est.
Beaucoup de fermiers ont dû abandonner leur métier.
Le Brésil. Dans certaines villes il y a des gens qui n’ont pas
d’eau à la maison. C’est incroyable car c’est le pays qui a les
plus grandes réserves d’eau du monde.
La Suisse. C’est un pays où les hivers sont longs et où
d’habitude il neige beaucoup. Les lacs et les réservoirs sont
donc toujours pleins.
