JOB HIGHLIGHTS
Undertake to run supply module of model, update and fed model with technology
costs and provide upstream analysis.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintains, calibrates and updates the GGM energy supply models (oil, gas,
coal, renewables)
2. Analyses & updates: Production profiles & Supply costs parameters along
the supply gas value chain Inc. upstream & LNG supply.
3. Collect all data relating to fiscal regimes and gas production cost in the
major producing regions, and estimate the investment needed for any set
production level.
4. Monitors the technology changes and assesses their impact on the mediumto long-term gas recovery rate, production and costs.
5. Reviews & updates gas transportation network and Updates Gas Storage
data in model
6. To study the behavior and characteristics of major producing field in relation
to the method of exploitation.

7. To prepare, on the basis of the above information, independent assessments
of recoverable reserves, gas company strategies in the upstream sector of
the petroleum industry and gas production capacity of each province or
area.
8. To conduct any study relevant to the upstream gas industry.
9. Keep updated with government’s technology regulations and update member
countries
10. Provide recommendations on means of improving environment friendly
technologies and procedures. Update GECF and member countries on
emerging technological matters and situations.
11. Analyzes the added value of newly invented technologies to GECF.
12. Proposes solutions regarding possible technological exchange between
member countries.
