Annamaria Di Fabio is Professor of Career Psychology

Annamaria Di Fabio is Professor of Career Psychology at the University of Florence, Italy.
She develops Vocational Guidance and Career Counseling programmes and facilitates these
services. Her research areas are Career Counseling, Career Psychology, Vocational
Psychology, Work and Organisational Psychology, and Human Resources Management. Prof.
Di Fabio has lectured at Universities in the United States of America, in Europe and in South
Africa. She is currently the General Editor of the Newsletter of the International Association
for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG), Editor of Counseling: Italian Journal of
Research and Applications; Co-editor of the Journal Orientation Scolaire et Professionnelle,
and Editor of the book series Counseling and Career Counseling (Giunti Organizzazioni
Speciali O.S. Italy). Her recent publications include the Handbook of Vocational psychology
and career counseling in the XXI century (2009), Emotional intelligence: New perspectives
and applications (2011), Psychology of Counseling (in press), and Psychology of career
counseling: New challenges for a new era (Nova Science Publishers) (in press).
Annamaria Di Fabio est professeur de psychologie de l’orientation à l’université de
Florence, Italie. Elle organise des programmes de conseil en orientation et guidance
vocationnelle et anime ces services. Ses domaines de recherche sont le conseil en orientation,
la psychologie de l’orientation, la psychologie vocationnelle, la psychologie du travail et des
organisations ainsi que le management des ressources humaines. Professeur Di Fabio a donné
des conférences dans des universités américaines, européennes et en Afrique du Sud. Elle est
actuellement rédactrice en chef de la Newsletter de l’Association Internationale d’Orientation
Scolaire et Professionnelle (IAEVG/AIOSP), rédactrice de Counseling, revue italienne de
recherche et d’applications; co-rédactrice de la revue Orientation Scolaire et Professionnelle,
et rédactrice de la série d’ouvrages Counseling and Career Counseling (Giunti
Organizzazioni Speciali O.S. Italy). Ses publications les plus récentes comprennent le
