Albatroz Engineering développe des systèmes aéroportés pour l'inspection des lignes
électriques aériennes et modèles numériques des terrains basés sur la vidéo,
l'infra-rouge et LiDAR en trois dimensions.
Les solutions sont créées pour des aéronefs à aile fixe ou rotative et offrent
l'intégration de capteurs multiples pour l'acquisition simultanée de données,
la flexibilité des configurations et modes d’opération et le traitement des données
en temps réel.
Les systèmes d’Albatroz s’intègrent aux capteurs existants, maximisant l'efficacité
et réduisant l’effort d’apprentissage des opérateurs. Les installations actuelles
comprennent Colibri EC120, AS350 Ecureuil et Jet Ranger 206B.La sécurité des
équipages, aéronefs, riverains et propriété au bord des lignes est essentielle; pour
adresser ce besoin tous les systèmes comprennent la suivie des variables de sécurité
et l’interactivité.
La société est basée à Lisbonne et, depuis 2007, ses systèmes ont été utilisés pour
inspecter plus de 100.000 km de lignes aériennes au Portugal, en Espagne et en
France, avec quelques travaux mineurs dans d'autres pays. La société se dédie
également à la certification d’aeronavigabilité de ses produits selon les normes
d’EASA.
Albatroz Engineering a engagé son effort de R&D pour étendre aux drones à aile
fixe ou aile tournante la technologie et les fonctionnalités créées pour des aéronefs
pilotés.

Albatroz Engineering develops systems for airborne power line inspections
and terrain rendering based on video, infra-red and LiDAR scanning.
It has created solutions for rotating and fixed wing aircraft that focus on integration
of multiple sensors for simultaneous data acquisition, flexibility in the configurations
and mission assignments and real-time data processing. New systems can
incorporate existing sensors thus maximizing efficiency and reducing the operators
learning curve.
Current installations include EC120B Colibri, AS350 Écureuil and Bell Jet Ranger
206B. Aircraft and crew safety are critical near power lines, hence real-time
processing provides tools to enhance flight safety and interactivity.
The company is based in Lisbon and, since 2007, its systems have been used
to inspect from manned helicopters more than 100000km of over-head lines
in Portugal, Spain and France, with some minor assignments in other countries.
The company is also involved in the airworthiness certification of its products
according to EASA standards.
Albatroz Engineering committed its R&D effort to extend to fixed and rotating
wing UAV the technology and features created for manned aircraft further
extending the reach of airborne solutions.

CEiiA is a global innovation and engineering center with offices in Portugal, United
Kingdom, Italy, France and Brasil, providing design and engineering services, as well
as structural tests and support to the certification of aerostructures.
CEiiA is the leader of the Portuguese Mobility Cluster, which includes both
the automotive and the aeronautical sectors. With 200 engineers, out of which
125 are aeronautical engineers, CEIIA is currently involved in several aeronautical
programmes with different OEMs, such as Embraer, AgustaWestland and
Daher-Socata. Specifically on Embraer’s KC-390 programme, CEIIA is responsible
for design, stress analysis, tests and certification of the sponson and the elevator,
and for the detailed design of the central fuselage. CEiiA works closely with
automotive manufacturers and designers, e.g. Volkswagen, McLaren and Pininfarina,
and has developed the Portuguese Electric Mobility integrator System (Mobi.E)
and the national electric car project.
CEiiA’s main aeronautical engineering competences are: Structural Design and Stress
Analysis of Composite and Metallic parts; Aerodynamic and Aeroacoustic simulations;
Partial and full scale testing; and prototyping and certification.
CEiiA has obtained the following certifications standards: ISO 9001 and ISO 9100
and is qualified as Design and Stress supplier by Embraer and as engineering
supplier by AgustaWestland and AutoEuropa Volkswagen. CEiiA is a Member

Le ISQ est une entité prive fonde en 1965 à Lisbonne. Aujourd’hui le chiffre
d’affaires est de 87M€ (58% à l’international) l’effectif de 1300 personnes et nous
avons une présence permanente sur 16 pays. Les domaines d’expertise de ISQ
sont les essais, ingénierie, inspections techniques, R&D et formation.
L’investissement en R&D dépasse les 55M€, dont une partie dans l’aérospatial avec
les partenaires EADS-Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Eurocopter, Thales, Agusta-Westland,
ESA, NASA, et autres.

among others. At the Centre Spatial Guyanais – Kourou, as members of the GIE
ESQS we are providing, in a permanent basis since 2003, technical inspections
for CNES and Arianespace to Ariane, Soyuz, and VEGA. Some other clients are
CERN, ITER and the European Southern Observatory.
