Welcome to the 2008 FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR to be hosted by Burbank High
School. All teams will be guaranteed a minimum of 5 games consisting of 4 games in pool
play and at least 1 more game in tournament play. Pool play will take place on Friday, June
27th and conclude on Saturday, June 28th. Final day brackets will be released after pool
play on Saturday. All teams will be seeded depending on pool play and placed in one of the
four bracket divisions. Please review your team schedules and inform us of any game
conflicts.
Everyone needs to enter through the front entrance of the gym. Players & Coaching staff
will be instructed prior to their game.
GAMES: 5 Teams in 4 Pools (4 games); Bracket play - 4 Divisions
AWARDS: Individual awards will be presented to Platinum Division Champion.
GATE FEE: $3 admission
UNIFORMS:
The teams listed first or on the top of the bracket will:
1. Be the VISITOR team
2. Wear the DARK colored uniform
3. Sit on the bench closest from the entrance
The teams listed second or at the bottom of the bracket will:
1. Be the HOME team
2. Wear the LIGHT colored uniform
3. Sit on the bench farthest from the entrance
EQUIPMENT: Please bring your own basketballs, towels and any other equipment needed.

1. All teams must have a designated coach on the bench for the entire game
2. All players of a team must have the same colored jersey
3. All players must have a numbered jersey
4. All teams must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled game & present their lineup to the scorekeeper
5. Games will consist of four (4) – ten minute running quarters

6. The clock will stop in the last two (2) minutes of the 4 quarter only if the score is 10 points
or less
7. Free throw rules will be the same as CIF regulations
8. Each team is permitted one (1) time-out per half; One (1) time-out will be allowed per
overtime period; No time-outs will carry over
9. Overtime periods will be 2 minutes long; Stop time in the last minute if the score is 10
points or less
10. 35 second shot clock will be used
11. Players disqualification will be set at five (5) personal fouls
