Introduction to TVPaint Animation
Welcome to TVPaint Animation.
The software you’re about to install is a powerful and unified environment for the
creation of 2D animation. Combining real-time paint with animation tools into a single
product, TVPaint Animation is the world’s most powerful 2D animation and special
effects software. From digital storyboards and backgrounds to pencil tests and
inbetweens, to stunning final colored frames, TVPaint Animation provides the freedom
and power to create anything you can imagine.
This document will explain all the installation, licensing and uninstallation procedures
for TVPaint Animation.
Important note:
We recommend that you uninstall any previous versions of TVPaint Animation before
beginning the installation process. For instructions on how to do this, please see the
final section at the end of this document.
This document contains the following sections:
Installing TVPaint Animation for Windows, Linux and MacOS.
The demonstration version of the software.
Licensing TVPaint Animation.
Installing the software over a Network.
Uninstalling TVPaint Animation for Windows, Linux and MacOS.
The installation for Windows
Please ensure that you are running at least Windows XP. This version of TVPaint
Animation is not compatible with Windows NT4 or Windows ME/98/95 systems.
When the TVPaint Animation DVD is inserted in the DVD drive, the installation should
start automatically. If this is not the case, just go to the directory "Install\Win32\" of the
DVD and double-click on the executable file (ending with “.exe”) to start the installation
process.
If you have downloaded the trial version of TVPaint Animation from the web, simply
double-click the TVPaint Animation installer icon.
Once the installation process has started,
the following window will appear which will
ask you to select the language used during
installation.
Click on the OK button to continue the
installation.
After you have selected the language, an
illustration appears on the screen during a few
seconds, and is followed by the welcome window
shown on the left.
Click on the Next button to continue the
installation.
This window contains
license agreement.

You must select the I accept
the terms in the License
Agreement option after you
have read it, to be able to click
on the Next button and
continue
the
installation
process.
This next window lets you
select the directory in which
TVPaint Animation
will
be
installed.
The use of the default path is
recommended.
In the following window, you can choose which components will be installed. By moving
the mouse over the different components, a description of each one appears in the
right side of the window.
Note : If this is the first time you're installing TVPaint Animation, ensure that the
Sentinel Drivers checkbox is selected as well. These drivers allow TVPaint Animation
to work with your USB hardware key (“Dongle”). Don't plug in your TVPaint Dongle yet!
*If you are installing the demo version, this is not necessary.
Most users should select the
Standard installation preset.
Although, it's possible to add
plug-ins
corresponding
to
special
video
capture
hardware, please don't check
the Video Plugins box if your
machine doesn't have the
requisite hardware installed.
Doing so may cause errors
during software start-up.
The installation process will
begin once you click on the
Install button.
This window indicates when the installation
process is finished. You can click on the Finish
button to close the window.
Note : if Sentinel Drivers have been chosen for installation, their installation will
commence after you have clicked on the Finish button in the window above. Please
verify that you have unplugged your TVPaint Animation hardware key from your system
before continuing.
When installing the sentinel drivers, use
the default options in the installer.
You will have to reboot your computer at
the end of the installation process.
Well, TVPaint Animation is now fully installed on your computer !
Go to the Licensing section to see how to register TVPaint Animation..
The installation for Mac OS X
Please ensure that you are running Mac OS X v10.6 or higher. TVPaint Animation is
not compatible with earlier versions of OS X.
From the TVPaint Animation DVD, browse to the the Install > MacOSX directory and
double-click the TVPaint_Animation_*.dmg installer file.
You will next be prompted to accept
the standard TVPaint Animation End
User License Agreement (EULA).
Please
read
and
accept
the
agreement by clicking Continue, and
I Agree...
Then the installation of TVPaint
Animation will display the window
below.
From here, it is simple...
Just click on the "TVPaint Animation {Pro}"
icon, drag it into your Application folder and
that's all!
The next step in TVPaint Animation
installation is to install the SafeNet Sentinel
USB hardware key drivers on your Mac.
These drivers allow TVPaint Animation to
work with your USB hardware key (Dongle).
Important: before continuing, please verify that you have unplugged your TVPaint
Animation hardware key from your system. Then double-click on the
SentinelSystemDriver.pkg file to start the installation process of the Dongle driver
software.
Just follow the instructions to install the
Sentinel Drivers.
Note that you must know the
login/password of an administrator to
finish the installation of the Sentinel
Drivers.
Also, you might have to reboot your
computer at the end of the installation
process.
Once done, we suggest that you
add the TVPaint Animation shortcut
in the dock, so you will be able to
access to it easily later.
To do so, just drag and drop the
TVPaint Animation icon from the
Application folder to the dock
directly.
Well, TVPaint Animation is now fully installed on your computer !
Go to the Licensing section to see how to register TVPaint Animation.
Linux Installation
TVPaint Animation will work only with at least the following distributions :
Ubuntu 10.04 and Debian 6 ( .deb package )
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and Fedora 15 ( .rpm package )
The following instructions and screenshots cover the installation of the .deb package.
For .rpm installations, please refer to the README file for commands to execute prior
to the installation. After, you can continue following these steps.
From the TVPaint Animation DVD, uncompress the installation file “Install/
Linux/TVPaint Animation*.tar.gz“. A TVPaint Animation directory will then be
created and you will have to double-click on the TVPaint Animation.deb file(or
TVPaint Animation.rpm depending on your OS).
TVPaint Animation's installer will then display the window below.
You will just have to click the Install button. If necessary, you might have to identify
yourself with your administrator password.
You then be prompted to accept the
standard TVPaint Animation End User
License Agreement (EULA).
Please read and accept the agreement by
clicking Continue, and “I Agree...”.
A progress bar will show you that the installation is running.
Once finished, please close the installation window.
The next step in TVPaint Animation installation is to install the SafeNet Sentinel USB
hardware key drivers on your Linux distribution.
These drivers allow TVPaint Animation to work with your USB hardware key (Dongle).
Begin by a double-clicking the Sentinel Install.sh icon shown below.
Then, select the option :
Run in terminal
The terminal window will appear for a
short time to show the progress of the
driver installation.
TVPaint Animation is now installed on your computer !
You can now find it in the graphics section of the main menu.
Please refer to the Licensing TVPaint Animation section to activate your product.
TVPaint Animation : Demo Mode
This part is for users who possess a Demo version of TVPaint Animation.
You can skip this part if you have purchased TVPaint Animation and have your
Hardware Key in-hand, you can go directly to the next part “Licensing TVP Animation”.
* To start the program for the Windows users, you can click on the shortcut icon on
your desktop, or on the Start menu shortcut found under:
Start > All Programs > TVPaint Developpement > TVPaint Animation.
* Mac users can browse to their Applications folder and double-click on the TVPaint
Animation application. You can also drag and drop the TVPaint Animation application
onto the OS X dock, for easy access.
* Linux users should be able to find the software in the Graphics category of the main
panel.
TVPaint Animation is running in Demo Mode!
In Demo Mode, the software is completely usable, but it is not possible to save
projects or to export files.
To purchase the software, download tutorials, or just visit the TVPaint website, at any
time, you can click on the following button in TVPaint Animation interface, which will
launch a web browser and bring you directly to the TVPaint Website.

Licensing TVPaint Animation
In this Section, you will be able to license and run your copy of TVPaint Animation.
You must have installed the Sentinel drivers to use the USB hardware key (Dongle).
To start, plug your TVPaint Animation USB hardware key to one of the USB ports of
your system.
Once the “Dongle” is recognized by the system, you can start TVPaint Animation.
If TVPaint Animation is not registered, the
following dialog will appear each time the
software starts.
Please note the Lock-Code present at the top
of the dialog. You'll to submit this Lock-Code
to TVPaint, in order to receive an UnlockCode.
You can access the TVPaint registration form on our website at tvpaint.com
After filling out all required
information, click on the Submit
button. Your Unlock Code will be
sent to you via email, usually within
3 business days.
Alternatively, you may email or fax
the required information (Name,
Company, Address, Telephone,
Email, Lock-Code, and Dongle
Number) to TVPaint.
All information is required for
TVPaint to provide you with an
Unlock-Code.
Since you already have a hardware key attached, you can click on the Continue
button (on the registration panel shown on the previous page) while awaiting your final
Unlock Code
This will allow you to run TVPaint Animation for up to 15 days
(with no restrictions) or until you have received your Unlock
Code.
When you have received your Unlock Code, simply restart the software, provide your
user name, organization name, and the Unlock Code, and click the Register button.
TVPaint Animation will then be permanently registered.

Installing the software over a Network.
If you need to install several instances of TVPaint under a Network/Floating License,
please contact TVPaint to for more information on installation and registration.
We have a dedicated manual about such specific operations.
TVPaint contact information can be found on the back of this manual.
Uninstall TVPaint Animation on Windows
To uninstall the software, it is possible to click on the Start Menu shortcut under :
Start > All Programs > TVPaint Developpement > TVPaint Animation > Uninstall
In the Windows control panel,
please double click on the “Add or
Remove Programs” panel.
Select TVPaint Animation, and
press
the
Change/Remove
button.
The uninstallation procedure is very similar to the installation procedure:
1) A window appears to choose the language during the uninstallation of the TVPaint
Animation.
2) After you have clicked on OK, the TVPaint splash image appears for a few seconds
and the welcome window comes. Click on the Next button to continue the
uninstallation process.
3) In the next window, verify that the path is correct and click on the Next button.
4) Select which components will be uninstalled and simply click on Uninstall.
Be careful, if the User Configuration component is selected, all your brushes,
settings, papers, FX bin, ... will be removed from the system!
5) One last window will appear to confirm that TVPaint Animation is totally removed
from your system.
Note : You can also uninstall the Safenet Sentinel drivers. To do so, just double-click on
the Windows control panel, and select the Safenet Sentinel drivers.
Uninstalling TVPaint Animation on Mac OS X
To uninstall TVPaint Animation for Mac OS X, simply drag the TVPaint Animation icon
(or the TVPaint Animation Folder, if there is one) from the Applications folder into
the Trash.
You can follow the same process to uninstall the SafeNet Sentinel drivers.
Uninstalling TVPaint Animation on LINUX
Please use the package manager tool of your Linux distribution to uninstall TVPaint
Animation and the SafeNet Sentinel Drivers.
This screenshot is for Ubuntu, but please note that it can be different depending of your
Linux distribution.
About Lock-Codes and Unlock-Codes
Both Lock-Codes and Unlock-Codes might be useful if you plan to download an update
of your software or if you plan to purchase an upgrade. You might have to insert them
in the update page or in the Online Store of the TVPaint website.
So please keep them carefully in your records. If you've lost them, please contact
TVPaint directly.
Introduction à TVPaint Animation
Bienvenue dans TVPaint Animation.
Le logiciel que vous êtes sur le point d'installer est un environnement unifié et puissant
pour la création d'animation 2D. En combinant le dessin en temps réel et des outils
d'animation dans un seul produit, TVPaint Animation est le logiciel d'animation 2D et
d'effets spéciaux le plus puissant. Du story-board à votre animation finale en passant
par les décors, les tests d’animations et les intervalles, TVPaint Animation laissera libre
court à votre imagination afin que vous puissiez créer ce dont vous rêvez.
Ce document vous expliquera tous les processus d'installation, d'enregistrement et de
désinstallation pour TVPaint Animation.
Note importante:
Nous recommandons de désinstaller les versions précédentes de TVPaint Animation
avant de commencer l'installation. Pour savoir comment faire cela, dirigez vous vers la
dernière section à la fin de ce document.
Ce document comprend plusieurs sections :
Installation de TVPaint Animation pour Windows, Mac OS X et Linux.
La version de démonstration du logiciel.
L'enregistrement de TVPaint Animation.
L'installation de TVPaint animation en réseau.
La désinstallation de TVPaint Animation pour Windows, Mac OS X et Linux.
L'installation pour Windows
TVPaint Animation ne fonctionne qu’avec au minimum le système d’exploitation
Windows XP. Il n’est pas compatible avec Windows NT4 ou Windows ME/98/95.
Une fois que le DVD de TVPaint Animation est dans le lecteur de DVD, l'installation
devrait commencer automatiquement. Si ce n'est pas le cas, allez dans le répertoire
“Install\Win32\” du DVD et double-cliquez sur le fichier terminant par l’extension".exe"
pour commencer le processus d'installation.
Si vous avez téléchargé une version de démonstration de TVPaint Animation à partir
d'Internet, double-cliquez simplement sur l'exécutable téléchargé.
Une fois que le processus d'installation a
démarré, la fenêtre suivante apparaîtra qui
vous demandera de sélectionner la langue
utilisée pendant l'installation.
Appuyez sur le bouton « OK » pour
continuer l'installation.
Après avoir sélectionné la langue, une illustration
apparaîtra à l'écran pendant quelques secondes,
et sera suivie par la fenêtre de bienvenue
suivante.
Appuyez sur le bouton « Suivant » pour
continuer l'installation.
Cette fenêtre contient la licence
utilisateur.
Vous devez cocher le bouton :
« J'accepte les termes de la
licence » après lesavoir lus,
pour pouvoir cliquer sur le
bouton
« Suivant » et ainsi
continuer
le
processus
d'installation.
Cette fenêtre vous laisse
sélectionner le répertoire dans
lequel TVPaint Animation sera
installé.
L'emploi du chemin par défaut
est recommandé.
Dans la fenêtre présentée page suivante, vous pouvez choisir quels composants
seront installés. En déplaçant le curseur de la souris au-dessus des différents
composants, une description de chacun apparaît à droite de la fenêtre.
Notez que si c'est la première fois que vous installez TVPaint Animation, vous devez
cocher le composant « Pilotes Sentinel ». Ces pilotes permettent à TVPaint Animation
d'utiliser la clé de protection USB (“Dongle”).
Si vous utilisez la version demo, cela n'est pas nécessaire.
L'installation “Standard” sera
normalement choisie par la
plupart des utilisateurs.
Toutefois, il est aussi possible
d'ajouter
des
plug-ins
correspondants à des cartes
video spécifiques.
Ne cochez pas les plug-ins si
vous n'avez pas le matériel
correspondant. Cela pourrait
empêcher
le
logiciel
de
fonctionner.
Et une fois que vous avez
cliqué sur le bouton Installer, le
processus
d'installation
commencera.
Le fenêtre finale indique que le processus
d'installation est terminé. Vous pouvez cliquer
sur le bouton « Fermer » pour fermer la fenêtre.
Notez que si le composant “Pilotes Sentinel” est sélectionné, après avoir cliqué sur le
bouton Fermer, le pilote commencera son processus d'installation. Vérifiez que vous
avez bien retiré votre clé de protection USB de TVPaint Animation de votre système
avant de continuer.
Pour installer les pilotes, acceptez
simplement les options par défaut de
chaque fenêtre.
Vous devrez redémarrer votre ordinateur à
la fin de l'installation des pilotes.
Voilà, TVPaint Animation est maintenant complètement installé sur votre ordinateur !
Dirigez-vous maintenant dans la section Enregistrement pour voir comment enregistrer
TVPaint Animation.
L'installation pour Mac OS X
TVPaint Animation ne fonctionne qu’avec les versions Mac OS X v10.6 ou supérieures.
TVPaint Animation n’est pas compatible avec les versions antérieures d’OS X.
A partir du DVD de TVPaint Animation, double-cliquez sur le fichier d'installation “Install
> MacOSX > TVPaint_Animation_*.dmg”.
Vous devrez ensuite accepter les
“Contrats de Licence pour Utilisateur
Final" de TVPaint Animation.
Lire et accepter les termes de la
licence en cliquant sur Continuer, et
"J'accepte..."
L'installation de TVPaint Animation
affichera alors la fenêtre ci-dessus.
A partir de là, c'est très simple...
Il suffit de cliquer sur l'icône de “TVP
Animation {Pro}” et de la glisser dans le
répertoire Applications et c'est tout !
La prochaine étape de l'installation de
TVPaint Animation est d'installer les pilotes
de la clé de protection USB Sentinel de
SafeNet sur votre Mac. Ils permettent à
TVPaint Animation de reconnaître et utiliser
la clé de protection USB (“Dongle”).
Important : Vérifiez que vous avez bien retiré votre clé de protection USB de TVPaint
Animation de votre système avant de continuer. Puis double-cliquez sur le fichier
"SentinelSystemDriver.pkg" pour commencer le processus d'installation du Dongle.
Suivre simplement les instructions et
les pilotes Sentinel seront installés.
Notez que vous devez connaître le
login et le mot de passe d'un
administrateur pour finir l'installation
des pilotes Sentinel.
Vous pouvez aussi avoir à redémarrer
votre machine après l'installation.
Une fois terminé, nous vous
suggérons d'ajouter le raccourci du
logiciel dans votre dock, vous
pourrez alors y accéder plus
facilement à l'avenir.
Pour ce faire, il suffit de glisser
l’icône du logiciel depuis le dossier
application,
dans
le
dock
directement.
Voilà, TVPaint Animation est maintenant complètement installé sur votre ordinateur !
Dirigez-vous maintenant dans la section Enregistrement de TVPaint Animation.
L'installation du logiciel sur Linux
TVPaint Animation ne fonctionne qu’à partir des versions :
Ubuntu 10.04 et Debian 6 ( paquet .deb )
RedHat Entreprise Linux 5 et Fedora 15 ( paquet .rpm )
Ne sera détaillée avec commentaires et copies d'écran que l'installation du paquet
.deb. Pour les installations .rpm merci de vous référer au fichier README pour les
commandes à exécuter avant installation du logiciel, le reste du processus étant
identique.
A partir du DVD de TVPaint Animation, décompressez le fichier d'installation « Install >
Linux > TVPaint Animation*.tar.gz ». Un dossier « TVPaint Animation » sera alors créé,
et il vous faudra alors double-cliquer sur le fichier : « TVPaint Animation.deb ».
L'installation de TVPaint Animation affichera alors la fenêtre ci-après.
Il vous suffira alors d'appuyer sur le bouton "Installer". Au besoin, il pourra vous être
demandé de vous authentifier à l'aide de votre mot de passe administrateur.
Vous devrez ensuite accepter les “Contrats de
Licence pour Utilisateur Final" de TVPaint
Animation (CLUF).
Veuillez lire et accepter les termes de la licence en
cliquant sur Continuer, et "Accepter les termes ..."
Une barre de progression vous indiquera que l'installation est en cours.
Une fois terminé, vous pouvez ensuite fermer la fenêtre d'installation.
La prochaine étape de l'installation de TVPaint Animation est d'installer les pilotes de la
clé de protection USB Sentinel de SafeNet sur votre machine. Ils permettent à TVPaint
Animation de reconnaître et utiliser la clé de protection USB (“Dongle”).
Commencez par double-cliquer sur l’icône «Sentinel Install.sh» ci-dessous.
Choisissez ensuite l'option de
«Lancer le logiciel dans un
terminal».
La fenêtre du terminal fera alors une
courte apparition à l'écran, et vos
drivers seront installés.
Voilà, TVPaint Animation est maintenant complètement installé sur votre ordinateur !
Vous pouvez le trouver dans la section « graphisme » du menu principal.
Dirigez-vous maintenant dans la section Enregistrement pour voir comment activer
votre logiciel TVPaint Animation.
Le mode démonstration
Cette partie est pour les utilisateurs qui possèdent une version de Démonstration de
TVPaint Animation. Vous pouvez passer cette partie si vous avez acheté TVPaint
Animation et avez la clé de protection USB (dongle) : vous pouvez aller directement à
la partie suivante “Enregistrement de TVPaint Animation”.
Afin de lancer le logiciel, vous pouvez :
* Pour les utilisateurs de Windows : cliquer sur le raccourci sur votre bureau, ou sur le
raccourci dans “Démarrer > Tous les programmes > TVPaint Développement >
TVPaint Animation (Pro)”.
* Pour les utilisateurs de Mac, aller dans le répertoire Applications et double-cliquer sur
l'application TVPaint Animation. Vous pouvez également glisser/déposer l'application
TVPaint Animation sur le Dock OS X, pour un accès plus facile.
* Pour les utilisateurs Linux, vous pouvez le trouver dans la section « graphisme » du
menu principal.
Voilà, TVPaint Animation fonctionne en Mode Démonstration !
En Mode Démonstration, le logiciel est totalement fonctionnel, mais il n'est pas
possible de sauvegarder les projets ou d'exporter des fichiers.
Pour acheter le logiciel, télécharger des didacticiels, ou simplement visiter le site
internet de TVPaint, vous pouvez cliquer à tout moment sur le bouton suivant de
l'interface de TVPaint Animation, qui lancera votre navigateur internet et vous conduira
directement sur le site de TVPaint.

Enregistrement de TVPaint Animation
Dans cette section, vous pourrez enregistrer et lancer TVPaint Animation. Vous devez
avoir installé le logiciel et les drivers Sentinel de la clef de protection du logiciel.
Pour commencer, branchez votre clé de protection de TVPaint Animation à l'un des
ports USB disponibles de votre système.
Une fois le “Dongle” reconnu par le système, vous pouvez démarrer le logiciel.
Tant que TVPaint Animation n'est pas
enregistré, la fenêtre ci-contre s'affichera à
chaque démarrage du logiciel.
Veuillez noter le Lock-Code affiché en haut de
la fenêtre. Vous devrez le fournir pour recevoir
votre code de déblocage (Unlock-Code).
Comme indiqué, vous pouvez ouvrir directement la page d’enregistrement de TVPaint
Animation dans votre navigateur Internet.
Veuillez remplir tous les champs et
cliquez
ensuite
sur
le
bouton
« Envoyer ». Votre Unlock-Code vous
sera envoyé par email.
Vous pouvez aussi faxer ou nous
envoyer un email avec les informations
suivantes :
Nom, Société, Lock-Code , ainsi que le
numéro de la clé de protection (dongle).
Ce sont les informations nécessaires
pour obtenir votre Unlock-Code.
Comme vous avez déjà une clé de protection, pendant que vous attendez votre Unlock
Code, vous pouvez cliquer sur le bouton "Continuer" du panneau présenté à la page
précédente.
Cela vous permettra d'utiliser TVPaint Animation pendant 15
jours (sans restriction) ou jusqu'à ce que vous receviez votre
Unlock Code.
Une fois que vous avez reçu votre Unlock Code, lancez simplement TVPaint
Animation, remplissez les champs Nom d’utilisateur, Organisation et Unlock-Code puis
cliquez sur le bouton « Enregistrer ». TVPaint Animation sera alors définitivement
enregistré.
Conclusion
Félicitations! Vous avez désormais terminé l’installation et l’enregistrement de votre

Installation en réseau du logiciel
Si vous devez installer plusieurs logiciels sur un réseau et/ou en licence flottante,
veuillez contacter TVPaint pour obtenir plus d'informations.
Nous avons un manuel spécifique qui explique comment procéder à de telles
opérations. Les informations de contact de la société sont au dos du manuel.
Désinstallation sur Windows
Pour désinstaller le logiciel, il est possible de cliquer sur le raccourci « Démarrer >
Tous les programmes > TVPaint Développement > TVPaint Animation > Uninstall ».
Dans le panneau de configuration
de Windows, vous pouvez
double-cliquer
sur
«Ajout/
Suppression de programmes».
Choisissez TVPaint Animation, et
cliquez sur «Modifier/Supprimer».
Ensuite, les étapes seront les mêmes que lors de l'installation du logiciel :
1) Une fenêtre apparaîtra alors pour sélectionner la langue durant la désinstallation de
TVPaint Animation.
2) Après avoir cliqué sur OK, une illustration apparaît quelques secondes et la fenêtre
de bienvenue s'affiche. Cliquez sur le bouton Suivant pour continuer le processus de
désinstallation.
3) Dans la fenêtre suivante, vérifiez juste que le chemin est correct et cliquez sur
Suivant.
4) Ensuite, sélectionnez quels composants seront désinstallés et cliquez sur
"Désinstaller". Attention, si le composant "Configuration Utilisateur" est sélectionné,
toutes vos brosses, papiers, bin d'effets, ... seront supprimés de votre système.
5) Une dernière fenêtre vous indiquera que le logiciel est correctement désinstallé.
Note : Vous pouvez aussi désinstaller les drivers Safenet Sentinel, via le panneau de
configuration de Windows. Pour cela, double-cliquez sur «Ajout / Suppression de
programmes», et sélectionnez le pilote Safenet Sentinel.
Désinstallation sur Mac OS X
Pour désinstaller TVPaint Animation pour Mac OS X, déplacez l’icône TVPaint
Animation (ou le répertoire TVPaint Animation, si il y en a un) du répertoire Applications
dans la corbeille.
Vous pouvez suivre le même procédé pour désinstaller les drivers Safenet Sentinel.
Désinstallation sur LINUX
Veuillez utiliser l'outil de gestion de paquet fourni par votre distribution de Linux pour
désinstaller TVPaint Animation, ainsi que les drivers Safenet Sentinel.
Voici la copie d'écran pour Ubuntu, celle-ci peut différer en fonction de votre distribution
de Linux.
A propos des Lock-Code and Unlock-Code
Lock-code et Unlock-code sont utiles si vous prévoyez de télécharger une mise à jour
de votre logiciel ou si vous désirez acheter une mise à niveau. Vous pourriez avoir
besoin de les utiliser dans la page dédiée aux mises à jour ou dans la boutique en
ligne de notre site internet.

TVPaint Animation にようこそ。
このソフトウェアは２ D アニメーション制作のための強力な環境を持ったツールで
す。リアルタイムの描画ツールをアニメーションツールと組み合わせるだけでなく強
力な特殊効果機能も備えています。アニメ作品制作に欠かせない、絵コンテ、背景
画、アニマティック、動画などを１つのソフトウェア内で一括管理できるため、後は
自分の想像力を存分に発揮して制作に打ち込めます。
この文書内では、インストール、ソフトウェアの登録、アンインストールの手順をご
案内いたします。
重要：
既に前のバージョンがインストールされている場合、インストール作業の前に全てア
ンインストールする事を奨励いたします。アンインストールの手順は、この文書の最
後に掲載されています。
この文書には幾つかのセクションがあります：
・Windows／Mac OS X／Linux へのインストール

Windows へのインストール
TVPaint Animation の動作には最低 Windows XP が必要です。Windows NT4 及び
Windows ME/98/95 とは互換性がありません。
TVPaint Animation の DVD をコンピュータの DVD 読み取り装置に入れたら、自動的に
インストール作業が開始します。作業が開始しない場合、DVD 内のレパートリー
“Install\Win32\” にある".exe" で終わるファイル上でダブルクリックしてください。
TVPaint Animation のデモ版をインターネットでインストールした場合、ダウンロード
した".exe" ファイル上でダブルクリックしてください。
インストール作業が始まると、インストー
ルのための言語を選択するウインドウが表
示されます。
好きな言語を選択したら〔OK〕ボタンをク
リックしてください。
言語の選択後、画面にイラストが数秒間表
示され、左の様なウエルカムウインドウが
表示されます。
〔次へ〕ボタンをクリックしてください。
このウインドウにはユーザラ
イセンス契約書が表示されま
す。
契約書を読んで同意される場
合〔このライセンス契約書に
同意します〕のラジオボタン
をチェックし〔次へ〕ボタン
をクリックしてください。
このウインドウでは TVPaint
Animation のインストール先
フォルダを指定出来ますが、
デフォルトで設定されている
フォルダにインストールする
事を奨励します。
次のページに載っているウインドウでは、どのコンポーネントをインストールするか
選択出来ます。コンポーネント上にマウスを移動すると説明が右側の枠内に表示され
ます。
TVPaint Animation を初めてインストールする場合、必ず〔センチネルドライバ 〕を
チェックしてください。TVPaint Animation 上で USB ハードキー（別名「ドング
ル」）を使うために必要です。
デモ版の場合は、これをインストールする必要はありません。
通常は〔Standard〕インス
トールで十分です。
しかしプラグインビデオを追
加する事も可能です。プラグ
インが無い場合、チェックし
ないでください。ソフトウェ
アの動作を妨げる可能性があ
ります。
〔インストール〕ボタンをクリックした
らインストール作業が開始します。
インストール完了を告げるウインドウが表示さ
れます。〔完了〕ボタンをクリックしてウイン
ドウを閉じてください。
“Sentinel_Driver”のインストールを選択した場合〔閉じる〕ボタンをクリック後、ドラ
イバのインストール作業を開始します。
TVPaint Animation の USB キー（ドングル）がコンピュータに接続されていない事を
確認してください。
ドライバのインストールをするためには、
表示されるウインドウのデフォルト設定さ
れているオプションをそのまま選択してく
ださい。
ドライバのインストール作業が終了したら
コンピュータを再起動してください。
これで TVPaint Animation がお使いのコンピュータにインストールされました。ソフ
トウゥエアの登録セクションに行き TVPaint Animation を登録してください。
Mac OS X へのインストール
TVPaint Animation の動作には最低 Mac OS X 10.6 が必要です。　それ以前のシステ
ムとは互換性がありません。
TVPaint_Animation の DVD をコンピュータの DVD 読み取り装置に入れたら、〔イン
ストール〕＞MacOSX＞TVPaint_Animation_*.dmg”のファイル上でダブルクリックし
てください。
使用許諾契約の文書を読んで同意される
場合同意します〕ボタンをクリックして
ください。
TVPaint Animation のインストールウイ
ンドウが表示されます。
ここからは簡単です。
“TVP Animation {Pro}” のアイコンを
Applications フォルダに入れるだけです。
次のステップで Mac 上に TVPaint
Animation の SafeNet Sentinel Driver をイン
ストールします。 TVPaintAnimation 上で
USB ハードキー（別名「ドングル」）を使
うために必要です。
重要：TVPaintAnimation の USB キー（ドングル）がコンピュータに接続されていな
い事を確認してください。"SentinelSystemDriver.pkg"上でダブルクリックしてドング
ルのインストール作業を進めてください。
Sentinel ドライバのインストール手順
に従ってインストールしてください。
Sentinel ドライバのインストールには
管理者権限のログインとパスワードが
必要です。
ドライバのインストール作業が終了し
たらコンピュータを再起動してくださ
い。
インストール作業が終了したらドッ
クにソフトウェアのショートカット
アイコンを作る事をお薦めします。
これがあるとデスクトップ上から直
ぐに起動出来ます。
ソフトウェアのアイコンを
Applications レパートリーからドッ
クに直接ドラッグするだけです。
これで TVPaintAnimation がお使いのコンピュータにインストールされました。ソフト
ウエアの登録セクションに行き TVPaint Animation を登録してください。
Linux へのインストール
TVPaint Animation は以下のバージョンに対応しています：
Ubuntu 10.04 と Debian 6 ( paquet .deb )
RedHat Entreprise Linux 5 と Fedora 15 ( paquet .rpm )
ここでは paquet .deb のインストールのみスクリーンショットで説明します。
paquet .rpm のインストールに関しては〔README／はじめにお読みください〕ファ
イルを見てインストールする前にどのコマンドを実行すればよいか確認してくださ
い。それ以降の手順は同じです。
TVPaint_Animation の DVD をコンピュータの DVD 読み取り装置に入れたら〔インス
トール〕＞Linux＞TVPaint_Animation*.tar.gz のファイル上でダブルクリックしてくだ
さい。〔TVPaint Animation〕のレパートリーが作成されます。〔TVPaint
Animation.deb 〕ファイル上でダブルクリックしてください。
TVPaint Animation のインストールウインドウが表示されます。
〔インストール〕ボタンをクリックしてください。管理者権限の認証パスワードを入
力して確認するよう聞いて行きます。
ユーザライセンス同意書を承認していただく
必要があります。
同意書を読んで同意される場合〔次へ〕ボタ
ンをクリックして〔同意します〕をクリック
します。
プログレスバーがインストールル状況を表示します。
作業が終了したらインストールウインドウ閉じてください。
次のステップで TVPaint Animation の SafeNet Sentinel Driver をインストールしてくだ
さい。TVPaintAnimation 上で USB ハードキー（別名「ドングル」）を使うために必
要です。
«Sentinel Install.sh» のアイコン上でダブルクリックします。
次に〔端末内で実行する〕をク
リックします。
ターミナルウインドウが画面に表示さ
れドライバがインストールされます。
これで TVPaintAnimation がお使いのコンピュータにインストールされました。
〔メインメニュー〕の〔ドローイング〕セクションに入っています。
ソフトウエアの登録セクションに行き TVPaint Animation を登録してください。
デモモード
ここでは TVPaint Animation のデモ版をお使いのユーザのためのものです。 TVPaint
Animation を既に購入され USB キー（ドングル）を持っている方は、次の TVPaint
Animation の登録セクションに進んでください。
・Windows ユーザの場合：デスクトップにあるショートカットアイコン上でクリック
するか、スタート＞全てのプラグラム＞TVPaint Développement＞TVPaint Animation
(Pro) ＞TVPaint Animation (Pro) ファイルをクリックしてください。
・ Mac ユーザの場合： Applications レパートリーの TVPaint Animation 上でダブル
クリックしてください。OS X のドックにアプリケーションアイコンをドラッグ＆ド
ロップするとデスクトップから簡単にアクセス出来ます。
・Linux ユーザの場合：〔メインメニュー〕の〔ドローイング〕のセクションにソフト
ウゥエアがあります。
TVPaint Animation がデモ版モードで起動しました。
デモ版では全ての機能を使う事が出来ますが、プロジェクトを保存したりフィルルを
エキスポートしたりはできません。
ソフトウェアの購入、チュートリアルのダウンロード、または TVPaint のサイトに行
く場合、TVPaint Animation のインターフェースにある以下のボタンをクリックしてく
ださい。 TVPaint のサイトを直接アクセスします。

このセクションでは TVPaint Animation の登録と起動を行います。既にソフトウェア
と USB キー（ドングル）用の sentinel ドライバがインストールされている必要があ
ります。 まず USB キー（ドングル）をお使いのコンピュータの USB 端末に差し込
んでください。 システムがドングルを認識したらソフトウェアを起動してください。
TVPaint Animation の登録が済んでいない場
合、左の様なウインドウが起動時に表示され
ます。
ウインドウの上に表示されるロックコードを
書き留めてください。アンロックコードを入
手するのに必要です。
TVPaint Animation の登録ページをインターネットブラウザを使って開いてください。
全ての欄に入力したら〔送信〕ボ
タンをクリックしてください。ア
ンロックコードがメールで送られ
ます。
ファクスまたはメールで送ってい
ただく場合、名前、会社名、ロッ
クコード、ドングルの番号を送っ
てください。アンロックコードを
入手するのに必要です。
ドングルをつけたまま次のページで〔継続〕ボタンをクリックすると、アンロック
コードが届くまでソフトウェアを使う事が出来ます。
15 日間を制限無しでソフトウェアを使用可能です。
アンロックコードが届いたら TVPaint Animation を起動し、名前、会社名、アンロッ
クコードを入力して〔登録〕ボタンをクリックしてください。これで TVPaint
Animation の登録が完了しました。
最後に
TVPaint Animation のインストールと登録が終了しました。 TVPaint Animation のコ
ミュニティーへの参加をお薦めします。ソフトウェアに関するディスカッション

Windows 上でのアンインストール
ソフトウェアをアンインストールするためには〔スタート〕＞〔全てのプログラム〕
＞ TVPaint Développement ＞ TVPaint Animation ＞ Uninstall を選択してください。
Windows のコントロールパネル
の〔プログラムの追加と削除〕を
ダブルクリックしてください。
TVPaintAnimation を 選 択 し て
〔変更と削除〕ボタンをクリック
してください。
次にソフトウェアのインストール作業と同じ手順で進めます：
1)TVPaint Animation のアンインストール作業に使用する言語を選択するウインドウが
表示されます。
2)〔OK〕ボタンをクリックするとイラストが数秒間現れ〔ようこそ〕ウインドウが表
示されます。〔次へ〕ボタンをクリックしてアンインストール作業を開始します。
3)次のウインドウではパスを確認して〔次へ〕ボタンをクリックします。
4)次にどのコンポーネントをアンインストールするか選択します。〔コンフィグレー
ション〕を選択すると、全てのカスタムブラシ、カスタムペーパー、 FX bin がお使い
のシステム上から削除されてしまうので気をつけてください。
5)ウインドウが現れてアンインストール作業が終了した事を告げます。
注意：Safenet Sentinel ドライバも Windows のコントロールパネルを使ってアンイン
ストール可能です。〔プログラムの追加と削除〕をダブルクリックして Safenet
Sentinel ドライバを選択してください。
Mac OS X 上でのアンインストール
TVPaint Animation を Mac OS X 上でアンインストールするためには、TVPaint
Animation のアイコン（または TVPaint Animation のフォルダ）を Applications フォ
ルダからゴミ箱に移動してください。
Safenet Sentinel ドライバも同様の手順でアンインストール可能です。
LINUX 上でのアンインストール
TVPaint Animation または Safenet Sentinel ドライバをアンインストールするには
Linux のディストリビューションのパッケージマネージャツールを使ってください。
Ubuntu のスクリーンショットです。 Linux ディストリビューションの種類によって変
わってきますのでご注意ください。
ロックコードとアンロックコードについて
ロックコードとアンロックコードは、弊社サイトのアップデートセクションからアッ
プデートをダウンロードしたり、オンラインショップでアップグレードを購入する場
