The selection of images shows an overview of nearly half a century of commitment to the photographic medium throughout the world. It reflects the large diversity of interests of the photographer and the effectiveness of his style. Travel through the collections of the Musée de l’Elysée offers a journey through the most beautiful images that the Musée de l’Elysée has collected since its founding in 1985. A geographical and historical voyage, where old images interact with contemporary photographs. reGeneration2 : Photographes de demain (Photographers of Tomorrow) 2 reGeneration showcases the creativity of 80 emerging photographers from 30 countries. Their work covers topics as diverse as urban space, globalization, identity and memory through practices that are often hybrids and that more than ever blur the lines between reality and fiction. Prix Pictet www.prixpictet.com This screening is in two parts. The first presents a selection of nominees for 2008 and 2009 editions of the Prix Pictet. Water was the theme of the 2008 and Earth in 2009. The second part looks at the work of each of the four artists on display at Espace Arlaud - Benoit Aquin, Nadav Kander, Ed Kashi and Munem Wasif.
